Who here has had a head injury? I know I've had a couple.
Any sisters or brothers had that? How did it effect you?
I am looking for the best self-serve Chinese restaurant in Rotorua? Any recommendations?
Thanks

Anyone know where the whore house in whakatane is??
Hi! My sister just got her working visa in New Zealand and thinking to start in Tauranga instead of Auckland as it’s apparently more quiet and surfy city as she prefers more.
I’m wondering what is the life down there like in terms of work and rental? Any areas you recommend or she should avoid?
She is after more work in the hotels like housekeeping so not aiming for a career job atm.
I would be grateful for any honest insight. Thanks! 🙏

Got hit by this truck twice today 12pm near bayfair. My dashcam didn't pick up enough details, trying anything to follow up this dude whose careless driving has written off my car.
Kia ora koutou, I posted a few months ago looking for research participants - currently looking for a final few more. I'm a PhD candidate at AUT and my doctoral research is in employment relations, around young people's experiences at work in NZ.
I’m currently looking for 18-30 y/o workers around NZ to take part – any industry, job, location, etc. welcome. Further criteria info in the ad below.
The research has three activities (collage-making, interview, town hall meeting) that can be done over zoom or in person. It is a bit of a time commitment (estimated 6 hours over this year).
Would be very grateful if anyone is interested or happy to share this around. Anyone interested or after more info can reach me (Tanya Ewertowska) at em12119@aut.ac.nz .
*A bit about me - I'm a doctoral candidate and work as a research assistant at AUT, mostly doing work around care and support workers, but also things like just transition. My previous master's research, on youth in non-standard employment, can be found here. I'm also a board member for Young Workers' Resource Centre in Hamilton.

All participants who choose to supply contact details as part of the survey will be in the draw to win a $200 Prezzy card! Every submission is truly appreciated and will be a huge help in completing not only this thesis, but my degree.
Link below to survey - thank you so much in advance. ☺️

Hi all,
I am looking for a good property Lawyer in Rotorua. Could you please provide me suggestions for a good property lawyer/law firm in Rotorua?
Thank you for your help.
I have no friends in this county bc I work from home. I’m 19 and a female but I have a bf so I’m not looking for anything romantic. Just people I can join for parties or hang outs. I would prefer hanging out with maybe a group of people but I really don’t mind.
The question is in the title, but for some additional context I'm a student in my last year of uni who's already getting a bit depressed applying for (and get generic rejection emails), from Wellington and Auckland businesses. I haven't applied for any positions in my hometown of Tauranga yet but am starting to consider it necessary.
The thing is, I've always heard about how there's nothing to do in Tauranga for people who aren't starting a family so it seems like a step down when compared to Auckland and Wellington. However, I am aware I'm basing this on hearsay so I thought I'd ask for some more perspectives.
Cheers!
Hello, Redditors in Rotorua! My name is Jay, and I live in Canada. When I was 10-11years old, I lived in Rotorua for one year. It is one of the most remarkable memories I have. I still remember that I played New Zealand handball, going to the Polynesian spa with family, singing Maori songs in primary school, watching All Black and a lot more. During the pandemic, I heard the news about New Zealand is one of the model countries that handles Covid-19 very well. I was very proud of the country, and it reminded me of the great memories as a kid. I really wanted to see the place where I used to live. Then I decided to go virtual tour to Rotorua with google maps to find the house. It took me about an hour to find the spot, and it seems like it's 16, 17, or 15 Bradley Pl. But I am not sure if it's 16, 17, or 15 Bradley Pl. It's not captured by Google Street view because it's hidden behind the narrow road. If there are some Redditors who live around the neighbourhood, would it be possible for you to show me the place?
Hey everyone!
I’m up in Rotorua for Easter from wellington I’m used to being spoilt for choice with coffee and have become quite the connoisseur.
Any recommendations for best places to try!?
Did you ever go to this store. did you play tabletop games out the back? it was on Maunganui Road x Tawa street.
