Hi, has anyone seen where or how the motor of a whirpool Carron quantum bath is installed? I need the exact location as I am dressing the whole bathtub with tiles and i need a service opening, but I don't have the bathtub just yet on my hands. Any help would be appreciated.
I discovered that there are curved shower curtain rods that flip in and out to save space. It seems like such a good idea! I found two on the market. Cryodex Space Saver and the Rotating Rod.
Even though it seems like a good idea, I'm wary that they're poorly made or cheap. Has anyone ever installed or used one before?

I shat my pants in public ! Was travelling from Chicago to Seattle by train and publicly had a bowel movement mishap right in the middle of the Amtrak station ! Any idea on how to overcome this type of adversity and restore my dignity?! 🙏
Much like the hooks shown holding the robe, I'd like to get similar hooks to hang a few plants along the back glass of my shower. Would that be safe to do? And if so, what would be a safe limit to stay within?
Thanks for any help!
Pulled the original equipment (20 years old) from our bathroom and found a gnarly yellow stain on the vanity top. I’m unsure what material it is.
Any way to clean this?
Our new faucet doesn’t fully cover the yellow spots.
I have a 59” wide alcove shower and thinking of putting a 30-34” fixed glass shower screen (just a rectangular piece of glass that doesn’t move) on it.
If I have a traditional wall-mount shower head that sprays out (not one of the rain shower heads that spray down) mounted on the side the shower screen is on, am I asking for a trouble/wet bathroom? Should I just do a sliding door?
Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing well.
I’m looking for recommendations. I recently moved into a new house in the Somerset area and would like to replace the wash basin in the bedroom. I noticed that the quote from Home Depot seems quite high. Is $230–$300 a normal price range, or is there a more affordable option?
Please send recommendations across.
Thankyou
This is our downstairs toilet we do not use. After flushing and waiting a week or so, some brown material pools at the bottom. is this cause for concern?
I'm a new homeowner and I have no idea where to start. My contractor said I'd have to buy the supplies for tiles, showerheads, vanity sink, etc....
Just trying to sense the urgency to buy my products now or wait....
Hey ive got a chinese toilet with no brand on it, the seat broke. The measurements are 17.5 inches long and 15 inches wide, i cant seem to find any with those measurements
Was replacing the water knob and when I removed the cover a loose piece of wood fell and now the pipes feel loose. I can’t find anything on google about this.
What is the piece for and how do I fix the loose pipes.
Had this seat under 4 months, the hinge broke. We are not big people. We do have a son that uses a potty seat on top but he's under 35 pounds. It seems people have trouble with this model.
Anyone else want to chime in about this seat. Nothing mysterious about the install--bolt, fastener, tighten.
Ive been getting some quotes to have our bathroom done, its small (2mx1.8m).
I've had 2 quotes so far which have been around £9K+.
What seems strange is neither one of the companies seem to want to entertain the idea of fitting panels rather than tiling and i dont know why?
I've been in several bathrooms which have panels, a couple of which are getting on to 5-6 years and they are still great. Am i missing something?
Hey,
I've recently bought a flat, and was planning to install a few new furniture pieces for my bathroom, and while setting everything up for the vanity sink unit and I realised there was pretty extended water damage to the plasterboard underneath bath shower. The plasterboard is now dry but is missing quite a bit of it's volume.
So there are a few concerns:
a) I don't think I can re-tile that plasterboard given it's state just below the tiles, it just doesn't look flat enough. It is DRY though, at least the bit where it's not covered by tiles. The bit under the tile gave me a weird feeling - it didn't feel damp, but I also don't see how that bit could have dried out at all, since it doesn't have any access to open air so it's probably at least a bit soggy still.
b) I am concerned about the bathroom to wall gap - is that acceptable if I re-tiled? It goes from about 20mm to 35mm. What should I use to fill that gap? I was thinking, since the plasterboard is already damaged, could I put another bit of plasterboard on top of the current one, with necessary arrangements to have it angled? What would I do about an edge between the board itself and the wall continuing further?
I am attaching all of the pictures.
Saw this at work today., we've had the toilets refurbished
Hey guys me being the stupid person i am dropped a vape behind the toilet and I cant get it. I am thinking I'll have to remove this white cement stuff thats sticking to the toilet wall. What's its name. Hkw do i remove it. Then reapply it?
