I’m quite familiar with boss brand products. I use peddles amp ect under that brand. I recently bought a bass compressor (bass comp bc-1x) and this thing has been a nightmare. Don’t get me wrong it does its job wonderfully and I have no complaints about how it levels my tone, I’m irritated with the battery life. My last jam session I had to replace the battery twice in under 2 hours. It’s the only pedal that never shuts off. It’s always on for some stupid reason. My metal zone pedal doesn’t stay on, my chorus, reverb, and tuner either. It’s just the compressor. As soon as I plug my set up in, it’s just on. I replaced the battery again today (now on my 4th) and it died again while I was at home jamming (in under an hour). Am I the only having a problem with this?
Recently I bought a Fab D-7 Fuzz for 40 bucks as my first bass pedal. It sounded pretty good and it was cheap so it was kinda an impulse purchase. I know it’s not going to be as good as like a big muff or something but again I’m new to pedals so I’d like to hear other peoples’ thoughts.
Looking to pick up a synth pedal but I'm not sure of what the most optimal one to get is.
This is such a friggin fun Fuzz. Snagged it in a Black Friday order along with two of their canvas power units, going to be posting the board updated with the new power supply.
But this fuzz I can vouch, is truly unique and just a blast. Loving it with barely any real test time needed, loved it out of the box!
Is it worth getting one of the line 6 hx stomp for bass to use in place of a pedal board?
Roast my cable management and power
I've had the regular size Crybaby Bass Wah 105Q for ten years and I love it but I'm curious to try the mini bass wah version. My two concerns are the angle being too much when the pedal is max heel down (I use a pedal train novo 24 which is already angled) as well as having enough clearance at max heel up to not hit a pedal that is directly above it (if I can't put a pedal above it it defeats the whole point of using the mini for me because it wouldn't save any space). Has anyone had any experience with this?
Zach Cooper of Coheed and Cambria turned me on to the CMC Overdrive so I did a video demo.
Trying to figure out if I should go with a 500w or a 900w. Inwnt to run two cabs on each side of the drum riser (2- 4x10). But I'm not sure if I need the 900 or if it's overkill. Mostly play 500 cap clubs or outdoors. Thanks everyone! Current pedal board building.
Looking for a good tuner for my boyfriend who’s just getting back into playing live sets. Looking at around $150 but not too stressed. Recommendations pls as someone who is clueless 😅
I bought this to work with my bass. Has anyone here tried that?
Can you run the Express and an interface via usb at the same time? I want to be able to use the editing software while playing through my monitors. Thanks!
I’ve spent a few weeks trying to figure it out myself but I haven’t had any luck, so the fender ABY works fine on the A or B setting but when I try to use the A and B setting with any other pedals it starts making weird noises, usually feedback ish with the fuzzes on or weird technical glitchy noises with the octave or flanger, it also sucks most of the volume out of the side with the fx, as cool as the glitchy stuff is I bought it to have a clean blend type thing so I’d like some suggestions on how to fix it.
I play in a metal core band in Drop G on a 5 string Warwick. My old tuner is struggling to tune my low string effectively. Any advice on the best tuning pedal for low tunings?
Started playing again earlier this year but have been mainly messing around with a mustang micro and a crappy crate amp I hung onto.
But now I’ve had a few friends asking to jam so I thought I should branch out and stomps caught my eye for being able to continue experimenting with sounds like I was doing with the micro (but you know way better in every way.)
Only questions I have: Favorite presets? Recommendations for a power cab or amp?
I'm Tring to build a pedal board and I came across someone saying guitar pedals cut out some of the low end and blenders and ab could fix that are they really needed?
Planning on finalizing my first board and this is what I’ve settled on. I’m split between getting the MXR and a Tone X one, or even just sticking to the zoom models. So I was hoping to get some advice from more experienced people since this is my first board. I usually play with a Newstead/ Rex brown type of tone but would like the flexibility to play rounder warmer tone for the odd gig. Also if there’s any other suggestions for DI/Amp modeler be happy to hear!
I’ve seen this attitude in other places but mostly on FB. They have this weird repulsion to pedals, it’s this purist attitude where they say they get all the tone they need from their hands, which seems absurd to me. Does anyone understand where they’re coming from?
Not referring to the newest release of the pedal, but the one with a switch to turn the Wah effect on or off. This one
Hi, could I ask you for some advice? I have a Boss RC-5 looper in a pedal board connected with a computer to have the same midi clock as the DAW from which we play the backing tracks. It's just that my machine is a TC Electronic BQ250 and a MarkBass Traveler 102P-4. But then the speaker buzzes a lot. Do you have any good experiences with DI boxes?
