Hello everyone, i need help, my bass making a weird vibrating loud noise at the headstock when play on the bass, especially when i use pick, if anyone know what is this and how to solve it please help. Thank you!
I’m trying to learn the bass line for a song my fiancé loves and wants to perform. If anyone who is good at learning by ear and could help with a video or a tab sheet would be greatly appreciated! https://youtu.be/ZpiTm4LuT7E?si=-LkI50RXJoaYs611
As a player, I often look up fretboard diagrams for reference and practice purposes when I practice and study. So I built a tool instead to replace it.
It has many customizable features, like setting the fretboard vertical, lefty, or toggleable notes. It currently has the ability to display anywhere from 4-8 strings (check the settings menu).
There are numerous settings and customizations to include as many people as possible, from changing colors of each note to changing font sizes so anyone can hopefully get some use from it.
Any feedback or ideas on how I can improve or add to it would be greatly appreciated and will be added to the to-do list. I am coming here directly as I am not an expert on bass, so I figured I would come to the experts for more advice on how to improve the app, while also offering a tool that can be great for teachers and students alike.

Again thank! And please hit me up with any function or feedback, I will check it out and add it to my to-do list!
Gear I'm currently working with is an LTD that I got from a pawn shop, round elixirs, an orange crush 25.
I've found that I'm using too much pressure on my fretting hand thumb, so I'm trying to remedy it. What's "proper" thumb placement? I've tried having it pointed up at all times, but at the lower frets it limits my stretch. At the lower frets I tend to turn it a bit sideways.
