I get that a song may not fit with the theme you're going for in an album, but why didn't John release I Dunno as a single before? I personally felt the earlier versions were way better, especially this version. Maybe he didn't see potential in it?
Hi there, My band just released a new single. I’ve been heavily inspired by Johns music and he’s easily been the biggest influence for how I even approach the music too, I record everything myself, use usb mics from time to time and mix and everything myself. If you are looking for stuff that sounds similar to GB City or his self titled I believe you would be into our stuff.

Looks like the last link is broken, so reposting, sorry XD. In short, we are a duo of teenagers singing in Russian, and we are fans of BDoD, so we will be glad if you appreciate our first release! Peace out!

Whennnnnn WHEN
Hey guys if ur into the early bdod stuff such as gb city or self titled, my band dayfiction just put out our first single in a while and it’s heavily influenced by those two records, as well as early wavves and Ty segall stuff. I recorded all the tracks in garage band similar to how a lot of these lofi bands started out. Hope you’ll check it out and like the sounds!

Hey there,
I put out my first EP in December and thought it would be cool to show it off in this subreddit because all of my writing is super inspired by Bass Drum of Death. I remember finding 'Crawling After You' on GTA 5 and ever since being utterly obsessed with the band to the point where I was inspired to start my own band that I now write, record, and tour in. I would appreciate it if you all could check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks
I found this article in which they mention three sigles, two of them can be found on YouTube but I have not found the second. By any chance, there is no one who has it? https://bagofsongs.com/tag/john-barretts-bass-drum-of-death/
Hey I know BDOD posted the original for blood demo a long while back before Rip This released. Does anybody have that? I can't find it anywhere.

Was so excited to bump the new album in the summer sun on the highway or wherever. I like it a lot more now it is definitely as good at their others.
idk but theyre coming to the netherlands so all you EU guys check it out!
I figured that the BDOD subreddit was the place to ask a question like this. How does Ian get that great “garage” sound to his drum in their recordings. I happen to be an aspiring garage rocker myself and think that these tricks might help us get the sound down to a science.
I accidentally got 2 tickets and would be happy to just transfer over the other! AXS doesn’t allow refunds so I’m boned but I figure some good can come out of it :)
too cold to hold/wait from the single or from the new LP
BDOD tour announced in 2k23 for the new record. Super bummed they aren’t comin to ATL🙌
A while back BDOD dropped a song on Spotify called Change with cover art that was a picture of a storm. I can’t remember how long it was on there but I listened to it quite a bit when it first came out. Not long after, it was no longer available for play. I’ve tried looking online to see if there was ever any reasoning from the band or any outlets why it got taken off but I could never find the answer. Does anyone know if there is somewhere to still listen to this song and/or the reason for its unavailability?
Going to the show in Denver on Monday night, was wondering if anyone who’s seen a show earlier could give an idea of what songs and albums he’s been playing
I listened to Bass Drum of Death on repeat the ENTIRE time I wrote this novel. I think it bled into the paper, or at least got some gloopy red smears on the pages. I decided to say fukc consumerism and 'oh, hi' capitalism and I made it free on Amazon!
If you love an edgy angsty read check it out! It's called 'The Gluttonous Feeding of Existential Angst'
