1. Keep it civil. Please refrain from rude, offensive, or otherwise discourteous behaviour. Harassment of another user is a violation of Reddit TOS and will result in a permanent ban.

2. This is a joke subreddit. Seriously. This is a sub about dogs leaping about all nimbly-bimbly. We don't need to hear about politics, religion, etc. This includes stirring up drama with baseless insinuations that animals pictured in posts have been abused in some way, either in order to perform tricks or mistreated in any way. This is not the place for this sort of discussion. If you have a genuine, factual concern about the post, report it and message the moderation team immediately! Breaking this rule could earn you a one week ban. Repeat offenses could mean a permaban.

3. Dogs only. Cats should be posted to /r/purrkour. Foxes, wolves, coyotes, etc count as well.

4. Have fun! At the end of the day this is still just a sub for dogs doing parkour. Have fun! :)

5. Regarding reposts: Make sure to check the New queue and Top to see if your post has already been posted. Reposts of content more than six months old are generally ok. Posts in the top 25 of all time are banned. Comments calling out reposts don't help. Please, please report the post in question instead so the moderators can handle it! Reposting of content currently on the front page of the sub or in the top 25 posts of all time will be met with an immediate one-week ban, no exceptions. Repeat offenses will mean a permaban.

6. Try to credit the source. If you know where a gif or video came from, please try to credit the author. If you are posting your own original content and want to plug your Instagram/YT/etc, please clear it with a moderator first. Self-promotion posts are allowed on a case-by-case basis.

7. These rules are strictly enforced. We the mods can and will remove comments and posts that break these rules at our discretion. We will not hesitate to ban users that show a blatant disregard for the rules. If you see a comment or post that violates the rules, please report it!

8. All dogs are good dogs and they love you very much

9. Absolutely NO Military or Police dogs. The training of any animal for police or military use is animal abuse and will not be tolerated. Posting these will result in an immediate two week ban.

10. Please only use an approved upload source. Approved sources are imgur, reddit, and gfycat. YouTube links will be allowed on a case-by-case basis, provided the video is short and barkour is the direct focus of it. Still images are not allowed. Please only upload videos or gifs. If your video has sound, please add the [Sound] tag in your title.

11. NO BOTS. Absolutely no bot accounts. This includes things like Haikubot etc.
