How do you display your notes? I’m interested to see as someone relatively new to the hobby!
Everyone hope you all having a good weekend I just got done going through some more of my mother's stuff and I found this not sure if it's worth anything if somebody can let me know exactly what it is and if it's worth anything that'd be greatly appreciated but if it's not worth anything either way I appreciate the information.
I just received this 500 yen banknote from 1969 and thought it is more practical than a 500 yen coin what do you think?
Cool serial # on the 1 note. Worth anything?
I have the 1000¥ note from 2004 and the 1000¥ note from 2024,which do you prefer?
Not sure if this is the right subreddit but as the title says, I googled out of curiosity if I can order a fresh pair of $10 dollar bills and stumbled upon this. Says the $10 is scheduled for a redesign next year! Followed by the other bills for the coming years. Pretty cool to look forward to. Thoughts on this?
I’m so in love with my Omani half riyal such a cool note!
Something I noticed, but I don’t know the reason behind it: the currency is written as ‘Rial’ on banknotes in Qatar, Oman, and Yemen, but in Saudi Arabia, it’s written as ‘Riyal.’ However, in Arabic, they are all pronounced and written the same
I have this 100 krone banknote from Austria-Hungary 1912,what do u think of this banknote?
I got this last year for my birthday 200.000.000$
I've been intrigued and fascinated by the mystery of the DPRK for as long as I remember. These notes are in awesome condition! I planned to research more on the history behind them, but let time slip away.
I have this Ottoman banknote from my great grandfather is it any rare?
Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled upon a huge folder full of old banknotes and found this one randomly. It’s a 1947 Belgian Congo 100 Francs note. After checking eBay, ChatGPT, and some other websites, I saw that similar ones might be worth £100+, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate.
Could anyone help me figure out the actual value of this note? It has two creases but no major damage.
Thanks! :)

So this is basically my collection from my past trips to the ten countries of Southeast Asia. (N.B: Timor-Leste uses the US dollar as its main currency, so I didn’t count it.)
