Prototype v1 Flipping 👀
Just wanted to show off the first fully functional prototype that might be called the amulet, or the pharaoh, or the pyramid, or the son of osiris in the form of a balisong I don't know at this point lol. Anyways this ones made of stainless steel with resin printed scales. It's a fully pinsless (minus the pins holding it together currently) design with a khopesh blade. I'm hoping to do a first run of 30 of these in the next month or two after I fix a few issues.
Current Known Issues:
- handles snap when dropped
- very blade biased
- stainless handle inserts don't line up with handles
- blade hits the inner liners when closed blowing up the back of the resin handles
- handle gap when open is -1 degrees when it should be +2.5 (the handles smack together when open)
- blade thickness is actually 3mm instead of the 3.25mm it should be making bushing tuning hell
- I don't like the current trainer design that I made
- every edge on the stainless parts is as sharp as a live blade
- the tip and back spike on the blade are too sharp
- handle inserts cost too much to make
- bushing hole sizes in the blades are wildly inaccurate
- no fun colors like my full resin balisongs

Someone out there just got a great deal on a kraken v3 :(
I ordered a kraken trainer V3, but i received a squiddy with someone else’s invoice. It appears that they swapped my order with someone getting a squiddy. I happened to be on the losing side of this mistake, but to whoever has my kraken i hope u enjoy it 🥲. (And yes i contacted support already but I’ll have to wait til Monday for a response)

Protect that tang!
I about memed out but this one was too good to pass up. lol joking aside it’s a legit slip. This slip provides a positive feel as the tang securely locks into place. Allowing me to spin the unit around my finger without fear of the Bali slipping out.
