Hello. I was planning a trip for 10 days to Bali in March and wasconfused between Airbnb and hotels. Can someone help me out.
Hi guys this is a bit of a sensitive topic. But I’m just wondering if it’s possible to find condoms that are below average, at least below 50mm. I’ve only been able to find 52mm ones.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Hi all, I'm planning a 2 month trip later this year in Bali! I went in 2022 and used cash the whole time (took out a lot at the airport atm and my main hostel let me take money out with my normal credit card). However, I have no clue how much USD I spent. I'm trying to budget more this time. Most of my stay will be on Nusa Lembongan. Does anyone know if most places there accept credit cards/wise? I know the main island would accept them in most places but Lembongan is smaller. Again, I paid in cash last time so I have no clue. Thanns for the help!
Ideally adults only. I think villas are great for groups or couples, but as a solo female I feel more comfortable in a hotel building with rooms. I’m overwhelmed with so much to choose from. The Apurva Kempinski looks beautiful, has anyone stayed there? I really want beautiful architecture.
I’m here in Canggu for a week, learning how to surf and doing a spa day etc
Can anyone recommend anything to see/do while I’m here?
My step-father (Japanese citizen, living in Amsterdam with my mother, a Dutch citizen) has travelled to Lovina, Bali (at least, this is what he tells my mother) twice a year, for one month each visit. He has been doing this for more than 25 years! I told my mother that for sure he has a second family there, but she tells me it’s not possible. I want to find out if this is true, and get proof to show my mother. Any ideas?
the banana boat sunscreen lotion(spf 50), used just once, giving for free. dont want to take it back. in canggu til 6th Feb.
I want to take some swimming lessons in Ubud, and the coach said I should have swimming goggles (glasses). Are there any sport shops in Bali where I can find them?
I’m in need of a therapist in Bali. Not a wellness or recovery retreat or anything, just a mental health therapist who offers sessions (particularly for eating disorders). Bahasa speaking is fine, so is English speaking. Does anyone have recommendations? Thank you
Hello everyone! I am about to travel to Bali in a couple of days.
Unfortunately the travel card that I use doesn’t support IDR and it’s too late to apply for a new one. So I’ll be travelling with cash.
Was exploring the cab apps and noticed GoPay on Gojek app. Is it like the UPI in India or Apple Pay in general? Can I just top it up using cash at supermarkets and then scan it everywhere like we do in India or Europe? Does shops and restaurants have QR code to scan and pay?
Most of the villas I see on Airbnb and Instagram are not budget-friendly (at least for me). Can you please recommend a homestay in Ubud, Sidemen, Munduk, and Bedugul?
Thank you!
Curious to know if you’d take a 2yo on a family holiday to Bali? The Jetstar holiday deals are very enticing, but as I’ve never been before, unsure how safe it is for young children. Any insight is greatly appreciated 😊
Hey everyone, Where do you order high-quality supplements without the ridiculous markup?
9 out of 10 products on Tokopedia are fake — you can’t even trust the labels since they’re full of typos. I don’t even want to imagine what’s actually inside.
With the new import restrictions on supplements in Indonesia, the options are getting even more limited.
Does anyone know any reliable suppliers?
Examples what I’m looking for: tryptophan, ornithine, theanine, tyrosine, uridine, taurine, curcumin, citicoline, magnesium — ideally 500mg+ per capsule or in powder form (100g+).
I have done a quote on Bikeago and it came to 230k per day.
From my past experience that is way to much.
Can anyone recommend a scooter rental shop near Seminyak/Kuta.
Details: Prefer newer pcx160 with mobile phone mount and helmets. Hotel drop off and pick up would be nice. Able to prebook via whatsapp. Feb 3-7th (5 days)
Hello looking for list of must take things to Bali?
Mosquito repellant and sunscreen are obvious choices. Anything else that is compulsory?
Just wondering if anyone has been to this villa in Bali? If soo, is it good or bad? Staying here and the review seems good but reddit reviews are always the most reliable to me. Unfortunately iam unable to find anything about it here and want to ensure our long stay is in a good villa at least.
Thanks in advance.
Will be turning 21 in November this year but going on a bali trip in June, saw that the legal drinking age is 21 there but just how strict is it? Can I buy liquor without any id or anyone suspecting me?
Hi, I bought this chocolate coffee powder at the Luwak coffee tasting. How do I prepare it?
Hi, guys, have you tried 30min jetski in Bali? Around Kuta?
I’ve searched on the internet and there’s a orovider names jetskiprestige.bali are there anyone here who tried their service?
How much can I expect for a jetski ride around Kuta area only? Thanks!
To those who have been, what’s the best time to go since the seats are first come first served? Planning to go around 1pm -
Cant afford to reserve a VIP bed so Im ok with just the regular bean bag chair.
Heading over in March, keen to hit the town but conscious of being a grandad (Im 31) in clubs full of 20 year olds. Any good spots for people around my age?
I am hoping to travel to Bali in the next few months. I do photography in the US as a side job. I’d love to do some photography in Bali & inquire about creating content for companies in Bali. What kind of visa would I need to apply for for this? I’m assuming not a standard tourist visa?
Thanks!
I went to buy some stuff, asked to pay by card. Cashier asked for my card, handed it over thinking he was going to tap it. I'm looking at some weird new Milo snack thing under the counter, and when I turn back the cashier is entering all the details from my credit card onto the computer.
Am I overthinking things or was he trying to swipe my credit card info? I've frozen the card just in case
Hi all, planning to visit Bali next week. Is Wise card commonly acceptable, primarily in Ubud? In order to add funds to wise card, do i have to be in Bali?
Have itinerary questions? Not sure where to stay? Looking for that cool new restaurant or villa?

Been a while since I've been in Bali.
Just wondering what the situation on robberies/theft is like now?
When I was last there it seemed like every couple weeks I was reading a villa had been broken in to and things stolen.
The situation better now?
Good Tattoo shop in Sanur Please
Random question. I noticed this more at the Mercure in Sanur than anywhere else, but I've noticed a lack of face washers in Bali.
Are they not a thing here? I can technically live without them but I went to a local mini mart in Amed and they had regular towels, hand towels, but nothing face washer sized for using in the shower.
Hi semua, I need some advice.
I’m Indo citizen working remotely for a EU company but I' still based di Indo. I’m planning to apply for a tourist visa to [EU country/South Africa], and one of the requirements is an employment letter confirming that I’ll be returning to Indonesia after my trip.
Since I work remote, gue gayakin kalo misalnya letter yg di provide oleh company gue bakal valid, karena ketakutan gue mereka bakal ngira gue akan kerja walau gue on tourist visa dan visa gue amit2 rejected.
Has anyone dealt with this before? How did you frame the letter or explain it to HR and to the visa worker? Any advice would be super helpful.
TIA
I've been a few times and I'm convinced that sticking to the sealed bottled water is the only reason I never got Bali belly.
