Hey fellows After working for 15 years in the aviation industry and aviation software sector, I got sick of all the limited options out there, legacy systems, not intuitive, complicated, needs a ton of training, transitioning to it takes months, if not years, no transparency on pricing, it feels like we are stuck in the 80’s and not in 2024! I mean look at other SAAS products in the market, Microsoft 360, Slack, Jira, Zoho, and the likes. You do not need to do an rfp, endless demos, compare complicated quotes with shady pricing and under the table commissions (yes that exists and you know it!) You have everything on their site, trial, demo, prices, and onboarding!
That’s why I decided to start my startup and work on a new software that will be made according to latest technologies, and latest UI/UX rules, transparent pricing, AND it will have a FREE tier. I’m hoping to turn around the software providers, to correspond to the actual SAAS market and make it easier for people, it hurts me to see companies still working with outdated software that were made more than 20 years ago OR worse, resorting to excel or Access !!! So I wanted to ask, if you would have such an option as a free basic subscription would it be interesting if you were a decision maker? Also, what is the worst things that I should avoid in that system in your opinion?

I'm fairly new to aircraft parts sales. Before here, I was a Mortgage Loan Officer for a builder division. Leads we're always coming in because builder business is quite generous. This is the first time in the history of my career where I have had to seek. Which honestly, no biggie. However, the only luck I've had making contact with someone from an airline was via LinkedIn. I've always felt a phone call would go a long way, especially in sales but this has been exceptionally difficult since the only phone numbers I can find are the customer ticket and reservations phone #. I'm looking to purchase parts but have no clue how to reach headquarters or these departments. Any pointers for a newbie?
My dad spent his career as an aircraft mechanic and inspector. He’s 82 and just finished his book about everything involving Aircraft Inspections. From the description:
“Aircraft Inspection is not just a book; it’s your gateway to mastering the art and science of aircraft maintenance, ensuring a safer and more reliable future for aviation”.
I just wanted to share this with the world because I’m so proud of him. I hope people enjoy it.

I've had them for few years, no idea what to do with them. Purchased a storage that contained these tools. Where can I sell them?
Hello everyone, I am currently evaluating tools for a project, and I am particularly interested in obtaining technical specifications for the hydraulic hand pump (Part Number:PWA88003) to open the thrust reverser cowl doors on the A330 PW4000. Can you provide me with these information?
I run a business named Thrust Aviation Tooling (www.thrustaviation.co) Here are two of my products. The strut and bottle servicing socket fits all 3/4" locking schrader valves (MS28889-2 and 9019C), I sell them for $150 each. The Lil' Brutus (now called the Tharpe Lever) is a smaller version of the Johnson Bar, it sells for $125. They can be purchased through my website, or you can buy them through Aviapool, part numbers are TAT001 AND TAT002. More tools are in development.
