Automating LinkedIn Connection Information to ClickUp Task Creation

Is it possible to automate this process? When someone accepts a connection request on LinkedIn, a ClickUp task will be created with their name, and the task will contain all their information (name, graduation date, LinkedIn link, resume, etc.).

Can this be accomplished using Zapier, Pabbly Connect, or n8n?

Automations for Marketing Agency

Hi everyone! I'm the owner of a boutique marketing agency. It's just me and an intern at the moment but I have a lot of clients and a lot of offerings. My niche is small businesses who can't afford a number of specialized agencies, but they want everything done well for a fraction of the cost.

I can't get thousands of new leads from SEO strategy, but I can increase site traffic by 200+ daily (but that's all the clients need). Hopefully that kind of puts into perspective who I'm working with.

Anyway. Like I said, I do a lot of different things (web design, social media management, content creation, SEO, email marketing, google ads, etc). I know I can automate these processes somehow but I don't know how!

Does anyone have any systems that have saved them a ton of time? (E.g. sending automated emails, creating a content calendar for posts, writing and publishing blogs, etc.). I prefer Make.com over Zapier, so if I can utilize that, that would be great!

Second question if nobody has answers to the first question - how/where can I find someone who will not only tell me what I can automate but will also do it for me?

Automation Filling Form Based on Google Sheet Input

I am wondering if it is possible to:

  1. autofill form based on Google Sheet. For example, form 1 needs to be filled by basic details like name, age, address from Google Sheet column A to C. Then I need it to automatically move to form 2 to fill details from Google Sheet column D to F.

  2. select an option from scroll down in the form

May i know how can I achieve that?

thank you

Allen Bradley PLC software

I and a coworker have recently gotten an Allen Bradley PLC each. We both would like to try our hand learning to program it but do not have $1000s to spend on the software. Is there any compatible free alternatives?

Automation to Auto-Pin Threads to Pinterest?

Do you have any ideas on how to set up an automation to automatically pin new threads I post onto Pinterest?

Pinterest has a native feature to do this with Instagram images and it's really helped my traffic grow (100k+ views per month!) I'd love to do the same with threads. This would be more complicated since Instagram has images, and threads are text-only. I'm not even sure if it's possible, but I'd love to have my mind blown by your genius idea!

Autonomous cooking robot

Sharing with you a project I've been working on - a fully autonomous food cooking robot that can handle almost any one-pot (with potential for more options in the future) recipe from start to finish. This robot has the potential to be a game-changer for home cooks and aspiring chefs alike.

Here are the key features it can handle:

  • Automatically chops, grinds, and preps all ingredients (blue attachment)
  • Washes, steams, boils, fries, and slow cooks the food (purple unit with a green stand)
  • Precisely measures ingredients and follows recipes to a tee
  • Cleans all pots, pans, and utensils when done (red - mini dishwasher attachment)
  • Offers ample storage space for wet and dry ingredients, with refrigeration

Requires zero human interaction - just plan your meals for the week, load the ingredients, and let the robot do its thing. It can cook 24/7 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The robot uses a combination of an XY gantry system and a 3-axis robotic arm (in yellow) with various attachments (white box to the left) to handle every step of the cooking process. It can tackle almost any one-pot meal, from soups and stews to curries and casseroles.

The main pot can also be swapped out for other attachments like a griddle, air fryer, oven, or wok, allowing for even more cooking versatility. Alternatively, there could be a larger version with multiple attachments included.

So, here's the big question - would you be interested in an autonomous cooking robot like this? Imagine a starting price of $5,000-$8000 for the one pot version with the attachments shown, and $12,000-$15,000 for the larger model with multiple cooking options.

I'm really curious to hear your thoughts and feedback. Do you think this robot would be a game-changer in the kitchen? What features would you want to see added or improved? Let me know in the comments!

Book a GP appointment for the rest of the year.

Hello,

I live in the EU.

So, long story short - My GP is never available (within 30 days) when I need her. She has 10k patients and it is ridiculous because I pay a fair % every month for healthcare.
Last week I had a serious problem with my back that didn't want to go away for days. But I can't visit any specialist (for free) before I go through the GP. And I can't go in the ER where people are practically dying and tell them my back hurts.

So I've come up with a plan to book an appointment every day for the rest of the year and cancel it every morning when I don't need it. And I hope someone notices as this will be my little form of protest against this broken system.

In any case, I can't zap it because their booking system is not available and I can't record a mouse macro because the months and days are different and I will have to click on a different area every time. So I am looking for ideas on how to achieve this.

P.S. I have almost 0 experience in automation.

Automate JotForm submissions, generate excel charts & send them to the user.

How can I do this following in make .com/ Integromat

  1. Extract responses from a JotForm form. ( 30 questions with scale ratings of 1-10)
  2. Add each result to an existing excel sheet to predefined cells in columns so that existing charts get updated with the form numbers.
  3. Generate a pdf of the excel charts using tools like pdf .co
  4. Send it to the user who filled the JotForm form via email.

Or is there an easier way to do this automation with maybe less steps?

Flow fails with Get Row from Excel function

Hi,

I am building an automation, when user fill a Form, it will generate some bullet points using "Create text with GPT". The bullet points will then be added in the same response file with a column, "Summary".

The Form and the Response are located in my OneDrive for Business folder.

I use the "Get a Row" to find the corresponding row using "Response ID", and then do the update using "Update the Row".

The problem is it sometimes work fine, but nearly most of the time it fails and return, "key value not found". I checked the Response Excel file, the value is there.

I tried, put a Compose before the Get a Row to make sure that it is not data type problem.

I tried, using Do Unitl, but it still fails.

Any clues will be appreciated.

Automating the processing of 70k handwritten Patient Records daily within 12 hrs

Hi r/automation, my name is Nandan from Bot Nirvana where I do podcasts and share intelligent automation stories. Here is my interview with Jaison Varghese on how he solved the processing of patient records daily with RPA, IDP, and Integration technology.

He had the task of processing 70,000 handwritten patient records daily within a strict 12-hour window, Jaison Varghese needed an innovative solution. Each record, containing critical health information, had to be extracted, verified against ten different applications, and uploaded to various platforms—all in under two minutes.

To tackle this challenge, Jaison employed a combination of cutting-edge automation and integration technologies. He opted for UiPath Document Understanding models for their advanced capabilities in handling diverse handwriting styles.

Integration was key, given the need to cross-reference data across multiple systems. Jaison implemented MuleSoft workflows to ensure smooth data transfer and verification processes between the disparate databases, mainframes, legacy systems, and third-party applications involved.

To manage the sheer volume of data efficiently, Jaison equipped his system with 12 GPU replicas, enabling rapid data extraction. He added over 300 dedicated RPA robots, working around the clock to maintain workflow continuity. Recognizing the need for immense computational power, he also secured 25 million AI units from UiPath to scale up the infrastructure as needed.

The Outcome

The results were staggering: a hard saving of 60 FTE, a productivity increase of up to 70% after these savings, and a client satisfaction rate of 100%. This project not only showcased the potential for digital transformation in the healthcare sector but also set a new standard for processing and integrating large volumes of complex data efficiently.

Tools Used

– UiPath Document understanding: For accurate extraction of handwritten data.

– UiPath RPA: Automates repetitive tasks and data handling.

– MuleSoft: Integrates disparate systems and applications.

– Rest API: Enables communication between different software systems.

Tool to measure time gap between products on a conveyor?

I'm not getting any results on google so I'll ask here. I'm looking for a tool that's essentially just a photoeye/tof sensor with a screen. What id like to do is be able to measure, say, leading edge to leading edge of products on a conveyor. Ideally it'd be configurable too, so I could do leading to falling, or falling to falling etc. It seems so simple and so useful I have to believe it exists and I just don't know what it's called. Any help? Or am I just going crazy?

Question about "Festo" equipment

So I have never really dug into the interworkings of this whole piece and i'd just like to get a little more information and how this whole thing works, if someone could explain or send links (pictures would be awesome) itd be very helpful. Im not sure if this is one big module or if its a bunch of smaller modules combined. I know the basics, air goes through it, it has filters, it shows you the psi, it has sensors indicating if it is at proper pressure for machine use etc. Im just not really sure the inter workings of this whole thing and just like to learn and be more informed!

Excel, Windows Explorer, Word, PDFs

Hi, How should I start approaching an automation on my job?

It’s very repetitive but I always have to do it manually:

  • I have to create some folders on Windows Explorer
  • Prepare 4 or 5 documents in Word, save them in PDF
  • Make an Excel sheet
  • Organize everything in the folders

Is there a way to mix everything in one single automation? I’ve seen something about VBA but it seems to be outdated. Any suggestions?

Sinking and sourcing analog input modules???? How to connect current transformer to PLC?

I have to measure current, for that I am looking for a current transformer with 4-20 mA output. But I am uncertain about its wiring to analog input module of PLC, because I have heard that modules can be sourcing or sinking. What does it mean exactly? How should I connect the transmitter to it? Module is of Siemens, so can someone explain me using their product?
