Any interest in a membership to a private stocked pond?

Hello,

I have a piece of property 35 minutes south east of Austin with a 2-3 acre pond that I am in the process of stocking with bass, bluegill, and pan fish (from a professional fish stocking company that helps build healthy pond ecosystems) Mainly use this for myself and family but as the cost of stocking it and making it stay nice has been going up I was wondering if there would be any interest in doing a membership to come fish here? I know there is a company called private water fishing but they charge so much for people to fish at the their ponds average is 100 bucks a day plus a monthly membership fee. This seems totally crazy to me and as a long time avid fisher I can’t justify charging anyone that much. Have been thinking about building a couple of shade structures, pic nic tables and putting a couple of bathrooms there as well if there is interest. Figured I would ask the Austin fish community their thoughts.

Bullfrogs...

Frogs have pretty aggressive this year. Caught quite a few this season. Been getting a lot of strikes from these guys at various locations lately. Before this year have never caught frogs on small lures. Guess they fattening up before winter

In town spot for afternoon fishing?

I'd like to take my son after school this afternoon, but not get caught in rush hour traffic on the way back.

We're beginners, just going for practice and to enjoy the nice weather. Thanks!

Williamson creek access

Anyone know a good stop that had access to Williamson creek? I see people catch’s but have no idea where they’re at.

New to freshwater fishing in Austin. What do I do? 🐟

Hey! I have done all kinds of saltwater fishing growing up but never any freshwater. I want to catch some catfish! I want to catch eaters eventually but I just want to do some catch and release. I have been to mueller, mills pond, and Barkley meadows with no luck!

I have been playing around with a couple of bottom rigs and nothing is touching my bait. I also don’t even know if there is anything in these BOW.

Anyway! Hope to get some insight from fellow anglers! If there’s any tips I’m open to taking them!

Where to catch big bass?

I know there are big bass in a lot of places and that to some degree it's much of the draw, but I'm in a tournament right now and I just dropped to second. I need to catch 18"+ fish to move back up. Anyone have spots they'd recommend for shore fishing?
