According to Erel Cabatbat of the Manila Standard, the Philippines national team director is pursuing to bring in Owen Wolff and his brother in 2025.
Owen Wolff was called to play in the U20 World Cup with the US last year but he has the option.
I’ve got a bunch of extra trading cards of these players, all from the most recent Topps Superstars set. There’s a couple different versions in the stacks. Nothing really valuable, but they’re great for getting autographs at the game or at player signings. If anyone would like some for themselves or their kids, pm me.
Looking for an alternative to that nasty toilet from Elon
Hello all. I’m in town for a college soccer tournament and want to catch playoff games Saturday night. I searched and didn’t see any MLS specific bars. With the needed Apple subscription, it’s gotten tougher to find bars that show matches.
Do you have any recommendations? I appreciate any suggestions.
Random stains from out of the washer 😭 won’t come off.
Austin FC have shown interest for Chilean defender, Paulo Diaz, who currently plays for River Plate in the Argentinian league.
Atlanta United have also shown their interest for the defender as well.
Paulo Diaz has played 181 games in 5 season with River Plate and has represented the Chile national team

I am relatively new to the AFC club, so I may be a bit out of the loop on this. This past season was my first experience with our Club. I will also say, for context, I am not as knowledgeable about soccer as I am, say, hockey or gridiron football. With all that being said, I didn’t personally see anything that egregiously wrong with Wolff’s coaching. So his firing has come as a bit of a shock to me. My only glaring gripe with his coaching is how we focused way too heavily on our defense. As soon as we had a lead, we would never take any risks. Also Owen Wolff has no business being on our team but that’s neither here nor there. Even still, I personally don’t see that as grounds for termination. Is there something I’m missing? Is it more about Estéves’s quality rather than Wolff’s lack of quality?
I got an email a while back from a rep for Austin FC since I had visited the captain morgan club once that there were opportunities to purchase season tickets there. I am not on the oak waitlist so I was surprised. I passed at the time due to monetary reasons.
Are those tickets still available or are even season tickets for the clubs sold out at this point?
Does the club do anything in the off-season for their members? Like events or something similar? Just curious if there is anything I should expect.
Just venting but this would have been an amazing hire. He got zero financial support from ownership and Philly was consistently one of the best teams in MLS. https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/news/philadelphia-union-part-ways-with-head-coach-jim-curtin
Does anybody have any inside info on how the scouting/tryout process works for the team? Obviously, we are going to be looking at some new players, after the announcement of several players let go today.
I saw something kinda weird today that piqued my interest. I am temporarily staying at a slightly bougie and out-of-the-way apartment complex, due to a remodel at our home. Around 9:00 this morning, I saw two young guys, waiting in the designated sort or Uber/Lyft pickup area at our place. They were both very tall, slender and athletic, wearing workout clothes and recovery footwear and carrying soccer boots over their shoulders. One of them had a Salt Lake T-shirt on (not Real Salt Lake, just Salt Lake, the city.) A white van pulled up and they both hopped in.
They were too old to be high-schoolers or Austin FC Academy folks. Anybody have any inside intel on if tryouts are going on right now?
My apartment complex is not super close to Q2 or the training center, but maybe this is happening somewhere else or they wanted to keep things on the down low?
NOTE: I tried to post this in the fan group on FB and the mods didn’t approve it. Usually posts are approved more or less immediately, so this is interesting.
UPDATE: While walking out with my dog just now, I saw another super-athletic dude wearing a Liverpool jacket. Maybe just weird coincidence (the area where I live is much more pro-American high school football than soccer, so it’s a bit strange,) but I did get a giggle out of the fact that he was “walking alone.” 🤣🤣

like the Crew, but freakin hate their fanbase. Good job Red Bulls!
Normally root for Tx team in playoffs, but hate Clark. Good job Sounders.
Hi guys, I just found Guilherme Biro on Football Manager and his name "Biro" made me wonder if he has Hungarian roots by any chance? It is a common last name in Hungary and it is also known that there is a huge Hungarian diaspora in Brazil. I could not find anything on the internet about his roots, I thought maybe you can help me out here. Thanks in advance! 🇺🇸🤝🇭🇺🤝🇧🇷
Really appreciate coach making the time for both us and WAATV. Definitely not something that happened under previous leadership.

Looks like Nico is at least trying to be more open towards the fans and the media which is a huge departure from the previous regime. Time will tell if this was a good hire, but at least Nico is saying the correct things.
here’s the reaction video of Nico Estevez to Austin FC and my thoughts what he could in 2025 with the club. I know I’m late to the party but I tried my best
