Hi, I'm a game master in Acworth Georgia looking to host a game for 4 to 6 players. I would like to run a in person game at HobbyTown on Barrett Parkway near Chuck E cheese. I would be running the black hack system particularly Mecha hack with some modifications for more flexible or unique magical abilities. I would also be cannibalizing other osr such as stars without numbers to use in the campaign. The first meeting would be Thursday 12:00 p.m. HobbyTown.
This campaign is inspired by epithet erase, foolycooly, adventure time, and Doctor Who. It is a kind of post-apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy. Rather than leveling character growth is very much determined by social interaction, roleplay and equipment.
The story starts off in the mundane world, no magic, no fancy races, no power just normal. You could be something flashy like an astronaut, an actor or something more common like a librarian, mechanic or retail worker. The point is it is the day to day life in modern day world just a normal world until something happens. Reality is breaking and there's something in the heart pushing to survive no something greater than survival
So in session zero I will be going over safety tools, lines and veils, campaign expectation, table etiquette, the vibe and energy I would like at the table, character creation, and answering any questions anybody has. If you are interested in the campaign please send me a message telling me what got you interested in the campaign, what are you hoping for from the campaign, and any questions you might have
Hi! My name is Yankishi, and I’m a game master based in Acworth. I'm currently looking for 4-7 players to join my campaign, and I already have one player on board. I can host sessions at HobbyTown near Brandmart and Chuck E. Cheese. The first session is planned for Thursday at 12:00 p.m.
I would like to running something other than 5e and have two campaign options ready to go:
Set in a world just beneath the mundane, strange events start happening across the city. As the supernatural begins to interfere with everyday life, new abilities and phenomena arise—possibly the only things keeping the world safe from an unspeakable threat. Think a mix of Ghostbusters and Percy Jackson.
An Alice in Wonderland-style journey, but with an Afro-fantasy twist. Cracks in reality are displacing individuals into a fantastical world full of magic, spirits, and constant change. As these rifts grow, something dark stirs beneath the surface.
If either of these settings sparks your interest, or if you have ideas for a completely different campaign that suits the group better, let’s chat! We can discuss everything over Reddit messages, Discord, or in person.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to join or learn more!
I'm working on getting a group together at my place in Decatur (just on other side of Avondale).
Looking for 2-4 players to fill out the group.
I'm fluent in a variety of TTRPGs, from various versions of D&D, Pathfinder, Champions, etc. and would really like to get a Call if Cthulhu game going.
Also have a plethora of board and other tabletop games. I plan for it to be an adult game group, which doesn't necessarily mean adult themes, just that probably not suitable for children. Also, my place is definitely not childproof.
Ideally meet a couple times a month, but adulting is hard, so possibly running two different games.
DM me if interested and I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey all,
I(27M) have been DMing 5e since 2016, with most of that experience being online. I am currently running an in-person Icewind Dale module with 4 players and we are looking to take in at 1-2 more. Your experience level doesn't matter to me. Anyone interested in 5e can join. My only restriction is to keep the group 20+ to ensure we are all around the same age.
A bit of info below:
If you are interested in joining please fill out this form. Please make sure you have chat and friend requests enabled!
I look forward to gaming with you!
Hello! Im new to the area and I like to collect the LE covers of D&D books. What are the best stores in the area to find them?
Greetings!
I'm James and I've indie published a ttrpg of my own and I'm looking for players to play the game.
Play days: Saturdays or Sundays, whichever suits the players better. Play times: Noon until 4PM. Location: Superheroes Cards, Comics, and Games store in Newnan, GA.
Game synopsis: Not a d20, sorry. A roll under percentile game. No classes which allows for creating the character you want using the available 51 Abilities. 10 playable races from which to choose. 211 Incantations with it's own language.
No purchase necessary! I'll provide all materials needed for game play: Books, dice, character sheets, pencils, etc. I'll bring them with me each session. All you have to bring is your imagination! And clothes, please wear clothes.
We can do arena style skirmishes or I can Guide you through one of the adventures that I'm preparing to publish.
If you're interested or have questions, post a comment and I'll respond appropriately. Or as appropriately as I can.
fini (for now)
First got into League and watched the LoL World Championship last year and with Worlds coming around now for this year was wondering if there are any Watch Parties throughout the month for the games?
Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know that we have a meetup tonight at Manuel's Tavern from 6pm to 1130pm. Come join 40+ other people for food, drinks and board games! Game play ranges from easy/short (under 20 min) to long/complex (2+ hours). Most of us bring a variety of games to teach/play, and you are welcome to bring your own. Free parking directly behind the restaurant or at the large lot directly across the street from Manuel's. All are welcome, hope to see you there!
Hi I'm a game master that has recently moved back to Georgia, Acworth Georgia to be exact. I love Adventure video games, light novels, any sword and sorcery book, campy superhero shows and a variety of different music. I currently have one player and we are looking for a group to join. I do play Dungeons & Dragons, it's fun and I am perfectly willing to run a game of D&D Homebrew or module. However I will be completely honest and fully Direct I'm hoping for a group where I can run something that's not dungeon dragons maybe otherscape, fabula ultima, Daisy chainsaw, Ova or honestly any other ttrpg I'm perfectly happy learning a new system if it seems interesting. I do have a few ideas that I really would love to run for a table but honestly I'm just looking for a cool group that I Vibe with that needs a player and a GM. Please contact me if you're interested and you're in the area
I'm 36, trans, and a mother. I used to run a DnD game that fell apart after I found an awesome-but-demanding job, but I've been playing TTRPG's for about 15 years, and I just got really into Magic the Gathering!
I love playing tabletops, but I no longer have the bandwidth to run a campaign, and tbh, I'm starting to lose interest in DND 5E (as great as it is). I would love to try any one of the countless indie RPG's that have popped up over the years though! Troika, Heart, Fate, Mörkborg, etc. and I think people automatically fall into a formula for gameplay when you get a group for DnD.
I would also looooove to get a crew together for some weekly Magic (Specifically Commander). I know there are LGS meetups most nights weekly, but it's very hard to find groups that are beginner friendly, and even harder to find groups that aren't incredibly alienating towards women (whether they realize it is another topic that I kinda don't care to get into).
I'd much rather meet some folks that just wanna crew up and play at our own pace! Other gays, other moms, OTHER GAY MOMS?? We could bring our own snacks, listen to music we all like, talk all the smack we want, and not have a game disrupted by some fun-hating chump with a deck that has an infinite-life-drain combo or something.
Interested?? DM me!
Looking to make friends with other Gamers. I am a Artist along with a fan of a long list of things lol. Would love to do hang outs and game nights hmu
When you dm me let me know that you are a gamer
I play this list of games
Stardew Valley Animal Crossing Grand Theft Auto series Red Dead Redemption series Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom Fire Emblem series WWE 2K series (Huge wrestling fan) Insomnaic Spiderman The Sims 3 The Sims 2 Sims 4 (sometimes) Inzoi Mario Party Mario Kart So many many more and I am open minded
Anyone know any get together for beginners on a Thursday evening ?
What’s up guys! Just recently got back into magic after graduated college and wanted to find people to play with on a weekly/bi weekly basis. Ideally y’all are within the city center but no worries if not!
I play a B/W deck, played a bit in middle school, still re-learning all the ropes/the newer EDH format
Feel free to reply to this post if you’re interested! Looking forward to playing with some heads if possible
Hey all, I’ve been having a hard time finding any stores holding DBS:FW events/tournies/game nights. Are there any stores or groups playing in person around the metro Atlanta area? I know there is a digital client, but would prefer to play in person. Thanks!
Hey everyone, new to this sub. I love table top games, anything with a slight competitive element, and have played 5 years of DND 5e, around the same amount of MTG, etc. But since I've moved to ATL, I find myself out of the scene.
I'm looking to have some fun, and find a new hobby, find a new group to play games with.
Anyone have any recommendations for fun tabletops to play, places to find groups, etc? I'm in Dunwoody
Hey Atlanta! I'm trying to recall a place that I was in years back that had a ton of amazing tabletop games. I dug around some and can't find it now - it may very well have closed at some point.
I thought it was in south Atlanta, but it was definitely in what I recall being basically a house converted into a store. I got my hands on Riddle of Steel, Dogs in the Vineyard and a couple other oldies.
Thanks!
I’m running a Pathfinder game that just started (first adventure done). I thought I could get by with 3 players, but I’m finding the roleplay dynamic a little lacking. I’d love to find one more person that fits well with our vibe but brings in some diversity.
Who: Three 40-something dudes and my 20-year-old son.
What: A custom setting of my own creation – an eclectic mix inspired by Arthurian legend and Lovecraft, set in a medieval post-apocalyptic Antarctica.
When: Bi-weekly sessions, with play-by-post roleplay on Discord in between. Live sessions (~40%) will be on Sunday afternoons as schedule allows, virtual sessions (~60%) on various weekend evenings. The plan is for this to be a long-term campaign lasting at least a year.
Where: Live sessions will be at my house in Decatur.
I’m happy to answer any questions!

Im relatively a novice in certain fighting games but I want to be apart of any local events in the Atlanta area. Idk if there's any coming up or just any locals in general. If you live, visit, or play in this area, please let inform me of events and locations. I look forward to testing my own skills, meeting new people, and making memories in the community!
1 seat available. We will be playing at 4 PM on 8/17/24 at Caffeinated Gamers in Roswell.
Is there any league of legends group for atlanta players? Discord maybe?
Hey everyone, my name is Kendall. I’m 23M, I’m currently located in Newnan, GA and I’m hoping to find a campaign to join that plays on a weekday. If anyone has openings or is planning to start a campaign near the area I’d love to get in contact! Thanks!
Hey yall, I'm running Black Sword Hack set in Hyperborea Tuesdays at the Atlrpg meet up at Scepter Brewing in Decatur. Reaching out to stir up some more interest so if you'd like to dnd without 5e hit me up or come on down. Playing at 7
Alright, so the events of this game take place after events of Vox Machina. I’ve added my own flare and some home brew of my own to make it fun and to appease my players.
Anyways! We are a group of 5 looking for one or two more players. Current part consists of a rogue, a Druid, and two warlocks. Acworth/Kennesaw area, hmu if interested and we can chat.
Games run on Saturday nights 8pm-midnight, usually every other week, tho sometimes we run consecutively.
