TUF A16 2023 problem

Hello, I just bought TUF A16 R7 7735HS+7700s in January. The main problem with this laptop is its performance.

I just play lol with the Medimun setting but the fps is low. About under 200fps. Something it drops to 80.

Is it normal or what? Can't believe the performance is so bad with these specs.

It sometimes faces the screen freezing problem. No matter playing lol or browsing the internet. I already disable the acceleration on Edge.

B650E-F Gaming WIFI - My Bluetooth, WIFI, USB Connections keeps shutting down.

Hello there. So i built a new pc system here a few weeks ago, and i have had problems with it since the beginning. I will try explain it here as good as i can, when i boot up my pc everything will work out correctly as it should or the pc will start without Bluetooth, WIFI and USB connections for my front panel on the pc and even my AIO cooling which is a NZXT kraken Elite 360 wont have any connection to its CAM software, it just says No NZXT devices were found.

Those times where everything works out correctly when i boot up and all devices are found then i can usually do some web browsing for like 20-60 min and then suddenly Bluetooth, WIFI, USB will switch off on the same time and i can´t get it to work anymore and also if i try play any of my games there will go around 5-10 min and everything will switch off again and i have to reboot my pc until i get lucky and it works.

My pc got the latest BIOS update on it and all the latest drivers from Asus website. I have tryed so to solve this by myself with having BIOS in default mode and also Expo mode but it does not matter what mode its in, it will be exactly the same. Would you guys RMA the motherboard in this situation ?

I will put my pc specs here and my ram is on the QVL list.

CPU:  AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

GPU:  Asus Proart Geforce RTX 4080 Super OC

Motherboard: Asus rog strix B650E-F Gaming WIFI

RAM: 2x16 GB RAM G.Skill F5-6400J3239G16G DDR5 6400 MHz

Storage: 1x Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB. 1x Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB.

Cooling. NZXT Kraken Elite 360

i would really appreciate some help here since i dont know what to do anymore.

Asus laptop webcam used to work with windows hello? Oh that's just the UEFI rootkit that SHIPPED with it

The reason why aces doesn't want to admit that they have a problem here because then they'll have to admit that it shipped with this root kit called cosmic strand

Look it up. No matter what you do, it's lower than the os and able to hook into the kernel

Fresh install? Still there. It can hook in to windows boot CD Utilities. if it boots any version of windows it hooks in through several vulnerabilities before it finally hooks into the colo if it boots any version of windows it hooks in through several vulnerabilities before it finally hooks into the kernel and it's off to the races nel and it's off to the races

I'll get a link but I'm just too pissed off right now. Even their website is designed to make you think it's something wrong with your computer. "If you don't see ir camera then your laptop doesn't have one" Really? Even though it was working? Are you sure it's not the root kit that just hooked into it?. This is the second piece of crap I've bought from asus I'll never do it again

Need Help with my new build

I just started building my very first rig with Asus Z790-H with i9 14900K, I installed the cpu, ram, ssd & AIO when I try to turn it on there's no output in HDMI, Fan doesn't spin, AIO lights are off, QLEDs are off as well. Only thing which has the light is the ROG light on motherboard and ram rgb. I have ordered another PSU because I think it might be PSU. But I need help in troubleshooting. Please help 🙏

VQ32V discontinued?

Currently have a VQ32V - looking to add a second display. I don’t game anymore, just use it for office work now. However I can only find the VQ32V1B and the VQ32VQ.

For reference, I use a MacBook Pro, output into a switcher. Can support dual display.

Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405) with external monitor - Game crash

I don't know much about gaming or specifications. But I know I can game a little on the UX3405. I have my Zenbook (Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H) hook to Ugreen Revodok 313 and connect HDMI to Asus VU249CE display (24in FHD IPS monitor). This setup was not for intended for gaming,

I am playing Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. With this setup, I can't even run on low graphics setting. It crashes each time. But when running solely on the Zenbook, I could play flawlessly on medium graphics. What am I missing here?

Asus ROG swift 41.5in flicker issue (brand new)

Straight outta the box. It’s beautiful. But has a really bad flicker. Does it need software updates? Do the software updates happen automatically if I hard wire to internet? Thanks in advance for any insight! Spent way too much money on this damn thing for it not to be perfect lol

Is one stuck pixel enough for an arma?

I just bought an Asus Tuf a 15, ryzen 5, and Rtx 4050, the laptop is great, build quality-wise and everything seems to be fine to be honest, however, there's a stuck pixel out of the box between the middle of the screen and the down left corner, tbh I scarcely notice it unless the background is dark and it's extremely tiny like dust, and I feel like asking to return it is like telling a joke, let alone that this was the only left one in their stock and I can't find it anywhere else in my country for the same price at least, no idea what to do, should I simply ignore it?

TUF Gaming F15 laptop do not turns on after getting turned off

Hey, I've bought the F15 TUF Gaming laptop 1.5 years ago. For the last 4 months, every time the laptop is getting shut off it doesn't turning on no matter how long I press the on button or how long I charge the laptop. I looked for some tutorials on YouTube and the only thing that helped is to open the laptop's back and disconnect the battery, than press the "on" button for 1 min, reconnect the battery and the charger and then press the "on" button for 30-60 seconds the laptop should turn on and if not I just restart the process until it works.

It happens every single time that the laptop gets turned off.

I keep my Windows updated and also updated the BIOS but no help.

Why does it happen? How to fix it?

Details: FX517ZM Windows 11 Core i7

ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero NVME RAID Questions.

I’m curious how well a raid between the bottom 4 NVME slots would run being that as I understand it two are on the chipset and two on cpu? I won’t be using the top Gen 5 NVME slot as I don’t want to slow down my GPU to 8x and I have hopes of still using the second slot.

Would I run into any issues with a raid across all 4 of those? And lag with the sharing of cpu and chipset driven ssds? Coming from a traditional hard drive raid and raid card and would like to go pure NVME. So I would be happy with just the speed of one of those drives lol.

Will be running a 14900K

New Tuf and STRIX motherboards won't boot

Computer won't post

Hi! I am trying to get my new computer to boot, and it will not. No matter what I try, it gives me the yellow DRAM light. My system is running:

  • Asus TUF Gaming X670E-Plus Wifi motherboard
  • Ryzen 9 7600
  • Asus ROG Strix LC II 360 ARGB Cooler
  • Samsung 990 Pro 2 terabyte M.2
  • Corsair RM750 PSU
  • Corsair Vengance DDR5 Ram (2x32, 6400 MHz) (CMK64GX5M2B6400C32)

(All components listed in this post are brand new)

No matter what I have tried, I get the yellow DRAM light when booting. So far, I have tried:

  • 32 gb ram in slots A1 and 32 gb ram B1
  • 32 gb ram in slot A1
  • 32 gb ram in slot A2
  • 32 gb ram in slot B1
  • 32 gb ram in slot B2
  • (at this point I returned the ram to A1)
  • Replacing the coin cell battery (with one I know works, it outputted the right voltage to a multimeter)
  • re-seating every connector on the board (power, fans, etc)
  • BIOS flash

at this point I decided it must be a bad board, so I went to the store and got a similar board (Asus ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming Wifi). I switched all components to that board, and got the same error. so I figured, must be a bad pair of RAM cards then, right? So I went to the store again, and got a set of Corsair Vengance RGB DDR5 RAM (2x16, 5600 MHz) (CMH32GX5M2B5600C40K). I tried swapping that RAM in for my 32 GB ram cards, and still, nothing. So I tried all the debug steps listed above, but with the 16 gb cards. Regardless of what I try, whenever I press the power button the DRAM light illuminates.

I am at a loss for what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ASUS TUF Gaming F15 Wifi disabling completely

Hello! I have been having this issue for a while now where the wifi driver (MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN card) will randomly disable the feature entirely and only leave ethernet as an option. I had sent it for repairs when it was still under warranty back in September, which afterwards it hadn't been an issue again for a little bit until a few months ago. I keep having to constantly restart the laptop just to be able to connect to the internet again, I've done a factory reset a few times too. Are there any solutions that aren't just a temporary fix?

Zenbook 14 OLED charger overheating while charging

My Zenbook (UX3405) arrived today, and I'm loving most things about it (especially the screen) but it runs strangely hot under barely any load (~55° while using Firefox) but I can live with that.

My biggest problem is that the charger gets uncomfortably hot even when I'm not using the device. Is this a normal thing? What can I do about it?

Asus Support and OOW laughably bad

I've been an appreciator of Asus gear -- from motherboards to networking and laptops to name just a few -- since probably the 1990s. My most recent favorite thing from Asus -- which I've convinced at least 10 other people to purchase -- is the XT8 line of Wifi 6 mesh networking. The performance I experience with them in a large multifloor property -- including range 100 feet outdoors from the house -- has been spectacular.

Sadly, the story doesn't end well and the conclusion is - while product design at Asus may be exceptional, the support (especially Out of Warranty) is devastatingly poor.

One of my 5 nodes stopped working. It wouldn't power on. Confirmed it wasn't the power supply and looked into how to get it serviced by Asus.

The OOW lookup indicated they charge $35 eval fee (non-refundable ) and I also have to pay my own shipping. Only then can I get a repair quote.

These units have typically sold on Amazon and Walmart for about $300-400 for a 2 pack. If you wait for a sale (like right now prior to the upcoming wifi7 devices coming out) it's $260 ($130 each).

Despite that, I was hopeful that getting Asus to repair mine (or replace with a refurb unit) would be even better.

I thought, let me try to confirm this. So I call Asus support and inquire.

They are unable to tell me. They say only the repair center can provide an estimate. I press them and suggest "Hey - You've certainly done this before. What's the worst case scenario -- for an OOW unit that's declared DOA?"

Nope. They won't provide the answer - despite escalation request -- they still come back days later with the same response.

I take the risk. I pay the $35 for the RMA fee and another $20 for UPS Ground shipping and a few days later, I get the quote.

Are you ready? $340.50 (Plus tax!)

I AM DUMBFOUNDED

I call the repair center.

The agent tells me that's their price. They can't control what Amazon sells it new.

I ask for a supervisor. The agent refuses flatly.

I go to Asus Office of the CEO webpage. (Amazingly, they have an easy way to reach out -- which I have hopes means, maybe they can help).

I explain in the form. An agent calls me from this office very promptly. I explain the above.

She ultimately gets back to me with an offer of 40% off that quoted price -- though I'll still be out the $35 + shipping I already paid. So my price to get a replacement (refurb) unit with a 90 day warranty would be $204 (plus my lost repair fee and shipping -- a total of ~$250+)

I inform her, I'm not interested in her (ridiculous) offer. I alert her to the fact that THEIR OWN ONLINE STORE SELLS THE SAME UNIT FOR $179.99 NEW WITH A 1 YEAR WARRANTY

All I can say is that moving forward -- seeing now how abysmally disjointed the Asus support team is, and how despite my making it clear how they could have easily made this a much better experience, they chose to go this way -- my enthusiasm for Asus has decreased substantially.

Had their Support team been able to simply tell me how much they had charged for a similar replacement, none of this would have escalated. I would have laughed and gone my own way and just purchased new from Amazon and recycled the old without wasting great time and energy.

The Asus 'office of the CEO' could have realized their failings and realized their policies were years out of date and made an effort to fix them and sell me a repaired unit that was less than I could get a new, warrantied unit for in the open market. But no.

Instead, they burned the good will of a customer who truly was an evangelist -- something the brand loyalty groups within companies ostensibly DREAM of. Hard to imagine a worse outcome.

M16 2023 black screen issue

I have a asus rog m16 2023 that I've had for 6 months and is still under warranty. Recently I had to send it to asustech due to hardware issues. Now it just gives me a black screen. It turns on and the keyboard lights work, but there is nothing functioning on the screen it's just black. The fans don't make any noise either. Ctrl/shift/windows and B do not seem to help with this.

SSD system drive visible in Sata Information but not in Boot menu

Hello.

Yesterday, I bought and put a new motherboard (ASUS PRIME H610M-K) and a new CPU (i5-12600KF) into my computer. And I have only one problem. My disk is visible in SATA INFORMATION but is not in the boot menu.

I saw on other forums that I should do it so that SecureBoot is turned off while CSM is turned on. And I did it, and yes, it helped, but in a way that now I see my HDD in the boot menu, but my SSD still does not appear there. I want to point out that the SSD disk already has the system and other files, and I can use the computer normally, but after exiting the BIOS. And I want to put my SSD in the boot menu, but I can't because it is simply not there.

I have already tried changing the slots in which I put SATA, it did not help and I CANNOT switch from IDE or RAID or ACHI (there is simply no such option). Its just ACHI

Assistance deleting apps that I have already removed the files off.

I'm not the greatest with tech, and downloaded a game and some mods for it, but wanted to delete it for storage. I deleted all the files I could find and emptied the recycle bin.
The game is still registered as an App though and taking up space.

If anyone could give dumbed-down instructions on how I can fix this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Let me know if you need any info about it but I want to take precautions with what I say, I dunno what smart computer people can do with my computer info LOL.

Qvl list faulty asus not providing ram solution.

Hi my karma is low im suprised of this. But it not the point.

I got a asus strix b550f wifi 2

Ive tested two different set of ram from the qvl list for my setup and cant get the dual channel to work.

Pcpartpicker show ram solution that isnt in the qvl list so what asus is doing with the board amd its costumers.

Its been now a mount that im arguing that my board is a rma situation but they keep asking me to tweek thst btch to the point i break it. Shouldnt the board set parameter to default when inserting ram stick like other motherboard that i had?

They already ask me to send a picture of the ram sticker this is ridiculous.

So you people of reddit have you ever get pc parts like ram out of qvl list? Should we get imformation from manufacturers? Again? Is pacpartpicker more reliable ?

I have no idea what model and why it won’t turn on

I recently inherited this asus notebook/laptop. I did try to look for the model so I can look into how to use this but I’m so confused. I’ve only used apple products please help!!

I also found a charger and started charging but the laptop will not turn on, I’m not seeing any light indicating that it is charging on the laptop. The charging cable does show green so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Thank u in advance!

Turn Off Display. Cannot Turn Back On.

Asus TUF Gaming A15 GTX 1650 ti laptop.

I usually like to turn off my display when going to bed to keep my room dark. I've set my power button to turn my display off through control panel. The problem is the display doesn't turn back on even when I move my mouse, click keyboards, and others. I'll basically have to force reset my laptop. I believe that my laptop is still running despite it being stuck on black screen through the games that I play.

With that being said, is there a fix for this? Do you guys experience this as well?
