Yes, we hear that helicopter, too. No, we don't know what it is.

Sorry for another “where to watch the Mets” post but anyone know a bar that would be playing it outdoors?
Hi Astoria! Multiple spots available on Astoria Blvd, near the 'Queens Public Library in Astoria' and 'Two Coves Garden' - Check it out & reserve it on joinparket.com/download
(We're the app referenced in this post a few weeks back; starting to pick up in Queens! Let us know your thoughts. Thank you!)
Anyone know of a good place in the neighborhood or anywhere really to watch the fight including the early prelims? Preferably with sound but I'm fine if it's closed captioned until the main card.
Went to Murphy's for 306 it was fine, but definitely felt over capacity for the main card and I was overcharged. So would prefer somewhere else if it's an option lol
I have some items that fell off the back of the truck(JK!!), curious if anyone knows a person or business that may purchase used computer parts?
I have a couple of good flat screens, a couple Quadro graphics cards. I’m a bit too lazy to try to sell the items individually on eBay, so would see in bulk at what I believe is a heavy discount.
Anyway, I know this stuff normally just gets ewasted but it seems like a waste of good stuff
Hi everyone,
Trying to do a little more exercise, wondering what’s everyone’s suggestions on a place for yoga? Any places that have no contract and don’t cost too much? And is clean and new people friendly? I don’t really know what to look for. Thanks you!
Hello! My neighbors are having a comic book sale on 48 street between Broadway and 34th Avenue (more towards 34th avenue). Hoping to spread the word around here :)
I have mid-length, straight hair. Need a cut that is low maintenance and will grow out well. Give me the names of your favorite salons and stylists!
Somebody was kind enough to stick it in a telephone pole.
I've seen some people practicing martial arts with sticks on some weekends in Astoria Park. It was during the summer. Anyone know what school this might be? I know this has a slim chance of response but I'd be grateful to get the scoop.
Hi all,
I saw a beagle run away from its owner this morning on 33rd street but lost it after crossing Astoria Blvd, looks like it was heading towards 30th Avenue.
I’m really hoping someone is able to reunite them with their owner:(
Hey all, I am new in Astoria and loving it so far. I was looking for recommendations for birthday cakes in the area, chocooate preferred but I would try anything. Thank you in advance.
Hey all! My buddy and I (both males in our 30s) are looking for anyone else interested in playing indoor beach volleyball in Sunnyside. All details are in the image above.
We’re both chill and just trying to have fun and be active! We are NOT experienced players, this is an all abilities league.

Thanks!
Currently unemployed and in the process of interviewing. I’m looking for something part time that makes me leave the house and keeps me busy during the job hunt. Any suggestions? Tried applying to chains like Express and Footlocker but haven’t really hard back yet.
Hey everyone! Where are we watching Mets Phils Sunday???
Hi all! I am looking for a zoning attorney or expert to consult on a commercial space I am planning for to lease. I want to see if the zoning group on the certificate of occupancy works with the business I’m trying to open in that space.
Appreciate any help here!
Just FYI - the trains are majorly f**ked right now. Been waiting 20 mins at Astoria Blvd with the dreaded “Delay” only sign. They’re also apparently moving a train from service at 39th Ave. Screw their $2.90 BS
Just a warning
I’m a newish transplant from the west coast who’s a big basketball fan. I was wondering if there are any bars in the Astoria area that show Golden State Warriors games.
Thanks everyone! Happy to watch some games with other fans if there are any dub nation folks out here.
I know it’s a longshot, but did anyone receive two packages at their address that aren’t theirs? If so, please dm me! Delivery was allegedly yesterday 10/3 at 11:56 am, but it looks like it may have been misdelivered. I ordered a neck pillow and desperately need it lol.
Hello again and again.
You’ve possibly, even likely, seen my previous posts and I’m here again to talk myself up. I’m a massage therapist and gluten-free baker based in Astoria.
I’ve been doing massage for close to nine years after I graduated from the Swedish Institute in Chelsea. As for baking, I’ve been doing it most of my life and only in recent years have switched to gluten-free, even deciding to form a business out of these two passions earlier this year.
What’s more is that come 10/13, I’ll be joining with the Astoria Mystic Circle at the 31st Ave Open Street providing chair massage and macarons (dairy-free). Would love to see any of you come down even if it’s just to say hello. My Instagram is below and if you need baked goods or massage, feel free to send me a message there!
