If Jill Stein believed Hillary Clinton would take us into a nuclear war with Russia, Why is she trying to do a vote recount after Hillary lost?

Convince me.

I whole heatedly support Dr. Stein, but that is because of the comparison to the other candidates. Without checking my history (to avoid tailoring your response, feel free to do so after responding) would you be willing to candidly inform me with as little political shine as possible?

The job is for head of state and head of government of the United States. Leader of the executive branch of the federal government and commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces. They also serve as a role-model for Americans and as an international celebrity.
Without comparing her to others, why do we want Jill to be the one responsible for succeeding in those tasks?

I heard Jill Stein the other day on CSPAN telling viewers they should vote for Trump over Hillary to avoid war with Russia...

I did not hear her explain that position, does anyone know? I find it rather odd that she claims Hillary would start WW3 and not Donald.

Why Jill Stein over the two most likely winners?

I hate to sound condescending but why "waste" a vote on a party that will most likely lose? I get that you want a revolution against the top two but a step towards that is getting a crook in jail and destroying a political dynasty. Why not just vote for the one that will do that?

Why do so many people think Steins position against big money interest in the FDA is pandering to the anti vax crowd?

It's one of the annoying things about being a stein supporter is that you either have to answer political questions with 100℅ yes or 100℅ no... Does anyone have proof that the FDA is lobbied so we can stop looking like fools?

The lesser of two evils: Trump or Hillary?

One of these two will probably be president (barring some major change in the election). They are the two most unfavorable candidates in a long time, if not the most unfavorable ever. Is there one of them that's less awful than the other?

Will/Should Jill turn herself in?

A warrant for her arrest has been issued. Having repeatedly criticized Clinton for being 'too big to jail', shouldn't she turn herself in?

How do you guys defend her student debt plan?

So she laid out her plan and its actually impossible.

That link explains it well, but heres a summary.

Stein says she can initiate quantitative easing if she were president to cancel student debt, similar to how wall street was bailed out.

There are several problems with this.

  1. The president cannot initiate quantitative easing. This trashes her whole plan really, but theres still more.

  2. No debt was cancelled in the wall street bailouts.

  3. Quantitative easing doesn't even cancel debt.

So basically my question is, how do you defend/support someone thats basically economically illiterate?

Why are vaccinations a sore subject among Jill Stein supporters?

I was blocked on facebook when I asked about it. Then my question was just deleted on the main Jill Stein sub. I'm not trying to rile people up or anything, I'm just confused. I was told by a mod that she's pro-vaccines, but I also saw an interview where she said that she wasn't 100% on board or something (paraphrasing, I saw it in passing)

What do you think of Stein's comments about wifi?

There was a video a week or 2 ago that I'm sure you guys have heard about showing Stein saying something along the lines of "We can't subject children to the dangers of wifi". What do you think of this? I don't understand what could possibly be dangerous about wifi

How does stein plan to pay for any of her proposals?

The question is in the title, how the hell does stein plan to pay for any of this?! The idea that we have to use taxpayer money to bailout students with debt is ludacris and she as president has no authority over the Fed reserve anways. It just seems to me that these proposals are impossible and most of them are down right uninformed.

A couple of questions

  1. Is she even prepared?

Jill steins only previous experience in public office was as a city councilwoman for a town with a population of 30k, where she received less than 500 votes.

2)Is Jill Steins plan for slashing the defense budget by 50% realistic, and if so, how?

  1. Why does Stein see nuclear de proliferation as a good thing? She suggested that she would 'lead by example' and remove our nukes first. Isn't that rather naive?

  2. What position would Edward Snowden fill on her cabinet? She claimed that she would both pardon him and offer him a seat on her table.

  3. Do you guys see this as a legitimate campaign or as a way of showing your protest to the DNC

Feel free to answer one question or all

Why does the Green Party support & Stein support IRV?

IRV doesn't do a great job and it requires large changes to our voting infrastructure. A simple approval vote is both easier to implement AND and correlates better to voter preferences.

IRV still gets hit to a lesser extent by the spoiler problem where approval voting can actually solve it. So why is IRV/RCV championed by Stein?

Do you guys truly think that Jill Stein will become president even though a 3rd party candidate never became president?

I mean aside from Teddy. But truly, the closest candidate I can think of was Ross Perot in the 90s that tried, but lost.

To think that she will make it to the white house in a few short months is, to be honest, quite crazy, right?

Thank you and I'm not trying to be mean here, I'm just wondering.

Edit: thanks guys for all your responses!
