After switching and replacing countless times this is my current staple skincare routine. I’m going to replace the purito oat moisturizer bc it’s just a bit too oily difficult to absorb for me. I got it to replace the aveeno oat gel but the aveeno is too expensive for the size and still does the job better.
Everything is noncomedogenic except the Anessa sunscreen — which I love and use on my neck to avoid breakouts. It absorbs sooo easily
The aestura sunscreen is my HG but it’s becoming a bit too expensive to keep up. It was the only thing my skin tolerated when I went into hyper inflamed irritated mode and it does an amazing job of actually being an effective sunscreen. I just started the PCalm sunscreen since it’s also noncomedogenic.
Vitamin c numbuzin- I feel like vitamin c’s are difficult to see the difference. I’ve never used one whether it’s goodal or melano and saw a real difference. This one has good ingredients and doesn’t seem to bother my skin so I’ve just been sticking to it for my hyperpigmentation spots.
Rovectin moisturizer is always a solid staple easy and does the job.
Isntree toner- this is my second bottle and they last forever (3-4 months) and my skin drinks it up! I’m thinking of trying naturie or the isntree onion one just to switch things up.
This is based on wearing it once, but I am not certain I'm going to give it a second chance any time soon.
I like the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream, in the red tube, and the Missha M Signature Real Complete BB Cream in the pink tube is my HG, so of course I had to try the purple tube.
The Serum BB cream goes on smoothly, evenly, and gives medium to full coverage. It looks remarkably skin-like for such high coverage. The color is equivalent to the other Missha BB creams, and I haven't noticed any oxidation whatsoever.
What's the problem, you ask?
My face feels parched. My face feels worse than it does in the desert at midday. Despite spraying liberally with a variety of hydrating sprays - sprays that have always worked, until now - my face feels tight as a drum. It's almost painful.
At the same time, my face is sticky to the touch, so it's not a simple matter of spritzing again.
And despite being light and looking like skin, it somehow manages to look like heavy duty pancake makeup.
I don't know how to describe adequately, but this is somehow both light and heavy, skin-like and cake-y, drying and oily.
I'm quite disappointed, because I love Missha - I was hoping for a serum-like, lightweight, skin tint style version of the excellent BB creams I'm used to from Missha. I probably will try this again, probably a few times, but this has truly been a terrible introduction.
Hi guys,
I am currently using the Naturie hatomugi skin conditioning GEL and really like it...but it's not quite as hydrating for the colder weather.
Is there any creams/moisturizer similar (ingredient & texture wise) that's from Korean brands?
Ingredients
Water, glycerin, DPG, dimethicone, ascorbyl tetrahexyldecanoate, sodium tocopheryl phosphate, blowfish extract, lauroyl glutamate di (cholesteryl / octyldodecyl), (acreates / alkyl acrylate (C10-30)) crosspolymer, (acryloyl dimethyl methacrylate) Taurine ammonium / VP) copolymer, BG, PEG-12 dimethicone, sodium hydroxide, carbomer, dimer dilinoleic acid di (isostearyl / phytosteryl), octyldodecyl myristate, tocopherol, methyl paraben
After researching various cooling creams, I found that some contain ingredients like menthol that create a cooling sensation through slight skin irritation, which can give the illusion of a cooling effect. This cream, however, provides a cooling effect without menthol
Texture: This cream has a balanced, bouncy texture that isn’t too light or heavy. When applied, it absorbs quickly despite its slightly jelly-like consistency.
TL;DR: A moisturizing cream that helps reduce redness caused by irritation and soothes the skin.
Which products do you guys like that don’t clog your pores? Do you think a chemical or mineral sunscreen is better?
I love Jennie so much she’s just stunning 😍 . What colors are being used in this look? I see like a purplish red, and short wing and she has some sort of mauvey eyeshadow. It’s so soft and lovely.
I am currently having my acne treatment with accutane. I was recommended to use oil free products, and I wanted to get a Korean sunscreen that is oil free (and for acne prone skin?). I have used BoJ and Frudia products, they didn’t break me out but they are not oil free. So it would be great to have your experiences with the products
What Korea exclusive items would you grab while in the country that is hard to get stateside? For example the Dasique pop up store in Seongsu has their own perfume balm only sold there, etc.
does anyone know the name of the two products here
Romand was having a sale so I got this blur fudge tint in the shade current jam. The texture is light and moussey and the blur effect is better if only a single swipe is applied. I have dark two toned lips but it is pigmented enough to camouflage them at least this shade is. On my light medium golden skintone the shade appears brighter, where as company swatches appear more muted with a bit more depth to them.
Really lovely formula, I am more of a neutral leaning cool olive but I still enjoy wearing this more warm toned color!
Hey everyone. I really like the color of this product but it doesn’t leave a stain (not sure if it’s supposed to) and I hate reapplying constantly. Are there other longer-lasting K-beauty lip stains in the same color, or a similar muted mauve/wine shade?
Something similar to the Romand Bare Water Cushion but oily skin friendly

Some, if not most of us here have probably thought about completely switching to only AB products at some point. If you’ve managed to do so, what are they?
I bought one Round Lab original version of sunscreen from Costco next Sophie site and it’s the US version one and they wanted me to pay for shipping back to Korea for return..I am curious anyone knows the difference between the U.S. version and the Korean version? Does it feel different? Is it still as nice as the Korean version? TIA
It's that time again with the seasons changing and the drier skin is emerging. I love a scented product, but my skin firmly does not.
I have to make a restock order soon. So was hoping we could discuss some great night time moisturizers that are thick and hydrating (but preferably fragrance free) for this time of year! What do you or have you loved in the past?
I've been enjoying the slew of lip products from the usual kbeauty brands (Romand, peripera, apieu, amuse), but looking to expand into cbeauty! What have the Chinese brands been doing differently?
Wondering about those lipglosses which are film forming and also stains your lips. If the gloss comes off when coming in contact with another surface (eating, for e.g) it’s fine but the color stain being the most transfer proof compared to other products would be awesome.
A bunch of people I know who tried Hapa Kristins 1 day found them extremely uncomfortable, I found that to be true myself + extremely blurry. After trying them only once my vision is way worse than it used to be. Another lady a few years back commented her daughters vision changed overnight, but I can really only speak for my situation. Basically I was able to see my cousins face across the dinner table 2 weeks prior to wearing them then a week after her face was completely blurry. It's been about 2 weeks since and my vision still hasnt improved. It's so bad that I found myself unexpected nervous outside and realized it was because I wasn't used to the limited visibility. I also noticed my glasses(i dont wear often) which used to be a little straining and blurry(a few days prior to trying hapa kristin) on my eyes were now perfect with no strain

I’ve been using a non-AB pencil (rare beauty) but seeing how it’s made in Korea, I’m wondering if there’s an AB brand that makes a pencil that’s even better!
I've been hearing about red/blue light therapy for a long time, but haven't tried it yet. Just wanted to see what people in this subreddit think about it or if anyone has seen results with it?
I’m sure you can see from my port history I’m not a regular poster here but this lip oil was so bad I felt the need to come out of hiding
My lips are dry and usually chapped. I live in the north east USA (we should be going into winter but global warming has other plans).
First impressions: when I put it on the mastic applicator made it hard to spread evenly and even mushing my lips together didn’t spread the product evenly. I ended up using my pinky. Once it was on the color was very sheer which was expected and not particular patchy but it did cling to a dry spot.
My biggest gripe and the issue that made me come out of hibernation. The plumping effect is literally like orajel. When you put it on it ends up in your mouth and it tastes disgusting. The plumping feels like minty numbing cream. It’s horrible. I have tried it a few times since I purchased it and every time it ends up the same. I also don’t notice any noticeable plumping effect. So I can’t even say it’s worth the annoyance
The lip oil is very hydrating and long lasting although quite sticky and my hair does get stuck in it.
I think the brand should release a version without the plumping effect as it is a nice hydrating lio oil.
It can be skincare, body care, haircare, makeup, etc.
Skin/Body care (oily, dehydrated, eczema):
Makeup (medium olive warm skintone):
I went to Daiso to look for cheap makeup brushes for gradient nails and found this concealer brush for $2. I bought 2 thinking I might try it on my face and I’m so glad I did because it truly grabs product, deposits, and blends like your actual finger! I used it for my under eye concealer and typically don’t do nose contour but I tried it and the blending was FLAWLESS!!
