I have a colony of Madagascar hissing cockroaches with 9 females and 2 males. They are starting to breed, and I want to give away the nymphs. I am a 33yr old, clean, non religious, no alcohol/drugs (I do smoke), no criminal record, single, childless white male who moved to Marshall NC, alone, from Michigan about 5 years ago, operating my mobile mechanic business successfully throughout Madison county and slightly into buncombe county.

Both sides of my family are Appalachia native, but headed north for the auto industry (Detroit) where I was born, when hard times fell. Luckily for me, I gained valuable skills there, before visiting here, realizing mountains are in my blood, and transplanted back here. Now here I stand in hardship with the rest of you, but determined not to leave.

I have about a week to vacate my current living situation, and my plans fell through. I will not be homeless, I can go back to Michigan where my family is if absolutely needed, but that would be crushing for me.  I do not want to leave here, I would prefer to centralize my businesss more around Ashevile/Weaverville/Hendersonville.

To do this, I will need a place to stay pretty quickly, with a minimum of 2, but ideally 3, parking spaces. I have a car, truck, and van for my tools. If push comes to shove I can store one elsewhere and make do with 2 parking spaces.

 I live simply and don’t need much or have many personal belongings apart from my vehicles and tools. Im a pretty quiet guy just trying to make a living and chase my mountain homestead dreams, like many of you.

I'm looking for roommate in a house near downtown starting Nov 1st. It is close to West Asheville and UNCA as well. Rent is $500/month and bills are ~ $150/month each on average. $500 security deposit.

I'm a middle-aged male, very clean and quiet, and will be the only other occupant. The bedroom for rent has its own bathroom with a shower. There is a washer and dryer but there is not any central air conditioning. Some folks who have rented the room have put in a window unit, others have not. The kitchen has lots of room. The neighbors are all very chill. Overall the house is really nice for the price minus a few quirks, and in a great spot. Sorry, no pets, or tobacco. Otherwise I'm a typical open-minded Ashevillain. Please have some references.

My wife and I bought tickets to SoDown at the Asheville Music Hall on November 9th months ago. Since Asheville is still recovering, we don't want to take up resources from locals at this time by visiting. From what I understand, the concert is still on. We'd love to give the tickets away to some local residents in need of an evening of distraction. Looking for anyone interested in taking over my lease for a 1B/1B 860 sqft, next to the baseball stadium. Rent is $1860/mo, plus water (lol), until July 2, 2025.

It has a large updated kitchen with a glass-top stove, a balcony with a storage closet, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a shower with a tub. It currently has running water, but obviously has the boil water notice. The dishwasher has a sanitization setting.

The property is Retreat at Hunt Hill. They've been super awesome, and their response to Helene was really great. They provided nonpotable water for flushing and port-a-potties throughout the property. The property has ample parking, a pool, and a workout room.
