What’s your top 3 handles brand in terms of quality?
I've seen this debate here before, but I'm just curious what you all think.
I can see an argument for both sides in determining which one is better. On the one hand, the wrist wrench is harder. On the other hand, some like Devon argue that the rolling handle is more accurate because you don't have to hold on to it as hard when you're cupping it. I agree somewhat, but I still feel like wrist wrench strength can be valuable.
When I picture a match, if you're able to get your cup, I don't think your opponent's wrist is able to get the same amount of spin on your hand that a wrist wrench does. Meaning, once you get your cup in a real match, it's pretty easy to keep it, which feels more like a rolling handle style cupping exercise.
The other side of the argument is again, that the wrist wrench is more difficult, so it would make you stronger if you could wrist wrench the same amount as someone cups with a rolling handle.
Do you believe in training for realism or training with more difficulty and less weight?
80KG bodyweight, what's a world level hammer curl? (both dumbell and judo belt).
The popularity of professional armwrestling is way smaller than sports like basketball and soccer but in terms of participating in the sport, I think that almost everybody has atleast armwrestled somebody in their life (even is it's just for fun)
Once Ermes establishes dominant hand position and gets his shoulder behind, can anyone in this world stop that press? So far I’ve only seen Genadi able to hold it for a few seconds. To do so you need a combination of insane bicep strength + endurance or a unique style like Monster Michael Todd imo. I’m guessing currently only Levan and maybe MMT have a small chance of winning the round even after Ermes gets into this position. What do you guys think?
reasons:
Vitaly Laletin❌: Dave chaffee always beat vitaly with flop press. Levan did flop press devon and beat him
Devon larratt❌: Levan did toddroll vitaly in left hand 2017, Chance shaw did toddroll devon and it was almost pin, now imagine levan doing toddroll to devon. Also flop press obviously is a counter for devon
Denis cyplenkov❌❌: very weak but denis prime <<< devon prime (right) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_Y-xNrfGdA <<< levan (right and left) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mEazWqsb7k, simply levan is the best ever like devon said.
Michael todd❌❌❌: ... only his press is well then nothing else also devon did press levan and levan was chill, and his kings move is so weak right now, he barely beat genadi so there's no chance for him.
Brian shaw❌❌❌: ??? he must be born again
Ermes✅: posting toproll is levan's counter just look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7CBXv1HbrY Keeping Posting toproll and then flop press gg for levan
Andrey Pushkar prime❓: Perhaps his toproll
Arsen liliev prime❓: Perhaps his toproll
John brzenk prime❓: Probably not but https://youtu.be/uQufinCXmbk?si=MozzAM03VHuKqsGV idk however cleve dean ≠ levan, cleve was a fat guy like corey west bruh
and finally left hand... (historically)
levan ≥ denis prime ≥ vitaly prime > travis bagent prime > alizhan > oleg prime > (morozov > kamil > ) devon > morozov > andrey pushkar > ivan matyushenko > kurdecha (this guy sucks fr)

Levan confirmed in his last youtube video that one of them will be his next opponent (depending on matches results)
Who do you think have more chance against Levan?
I would say Gasparini, but we dont know how much Laletin has progressed. He seems very big and strong right now
If Devon beats Gennadi and the MMT/Ermes winner decides to pull Levan later in the year (late summer, early fall) and then Vitaly pulls Levan at East vs West 18, then who will Devon face right-hand next?
At his current weight and level, I don’t think it would make a lot of sense to drop to 115 especially if he totally destroys Gennadi. I think he would want to maintain and build on his current shape. I also don’t think he will wait until the fall for another SHW Right Hand match which would likely be against Vitaly.
So who will he likely face RH in this scenario?
Posting up back pressure or dragging back pressure. What styles are each best against?
I only get it with straight bar and ez bar curls, dumb bell and cables is fine but I actually freeweight curls and want to fix this issue, any advice appreciated!
It happens on low and heavy weight so it's not a poor form of heavier weight and had people look at my form and they said it was good [I checked my form in mirror too] so I'm confused.
Do you think $250K - $500K a good guess?
EDIT: Couple of people with more understanding of the the transaction said the deal could be worth million$$$.
We use partial range of motion iirc to translate it as best as we can on the table. But, this skips out on the bottom portion. Is it fine to train the bottom portion, balancing out the top range to keep our tendons healthy?
So for sure Devons bicep and side pressure aren't as weak as he makes them out to be, but they still aren't his focus.
Are there any other arm wrestlers with a similar approache to the sport?
I'm thinking perhaps unintentionally vitality might have a similar advantage, like just so much hand strength and height it renders his opponents bicep useless.
Like I think Levan is mostly strength based, but he has enough hand and wrist to deny any shenanigans, but even if he didn't he could probably still blast through with the flop.
Where as ermes is working on his hand recently, but traditionally he has been like pure iron bicep style.
And then there is jerry, with his tongue.
Everything below is in addition to my bodybuilding training.
For pronation and backpressure: Devon's pronation lift (I make sure to always do it with a kicked-back wrist and this way I feel that the weak link is simultaneously my backpressure and pronation, effectively training both), dynamic pronation curls, dynamic offensive pronation (and then of course there's my bodybuilding elbow flexion training)
For cupping: rolling handle wrist curls, wrist wrench wrist curls, full-ROM dumbbell wrist curls, full-ROM finger curls
For rising: Devon's riser lift, full-ROM wrist rises
For side pressure: static side pressure (outside style, meaning I maintain a post the whole time), dynamic posting internal rotation
