Returning Player?

I got a malware popup. I haven't played this game in a while. I was just checking to see if it was a false positive or not. I got it off their official website.

Which is more populated? Looking to try one of them.

I'm playing on the archerpage server, currently ancestral 2. I have my house, my first boat, I have my Hiram outfit. But I'm at a point where I feel lost in the game, what should I do in the game now?

can we make a petition to make XL games relaunch our beloved archeage! maybe it can be called Archeage Reborn. id pay mothly sub for that shit.

I've never been social in Archeage. I've never done endgame nor do I intend to. Therefore I am unsure which private server is the better choice, supposing the differences would even matter at all in my specific case, hence why I'm coming here for everyone's expertise.

Things I like to do (from the top of my head):

• Climb to the highest peak and use my glider to see how long it takes and how far I get before I crash to my death

• Sail between the continents at as low a level possible to test myself...

• Chase the public transport carriages on foot, though I mostly end up getting hit by them instead. Still fun though

• Roadtripping in my car with no destination in mind (this is mostly because of my lacking sense of direction) (this is the highest level of action I do willingly because I cannot drive and therefore I keep driving off cliffs into rivers)

• Walk (not run!) without a map while setting a timer to see how long it takes me to get from one city to another

• Pick up every harvestable crop I see and sell them for barely anything because... I don't know why actually I get stuck picking those things up while trying to level

• (Related to traveling between continents) Sneaking around without enemy faction seeing me in pursuit of those forbidden starter mounts

Which server would best help a player like me thrive again? Again I've never done endgame so none of that stuff is relevant to me, nor will I understand anything about it. I played from 2014 up until the main servers closed this year and never once got past level 38(?) for further context.

Wondering if it's worth playing as a person that forgot most of the things about the game so kinda from zero knowledge. If yes which server?

Has anybody experienced the infinite spinning circle on the launcher after clicking play? The launcher did the updates fine but it just sits there spinning without loading the AA splash screen.

I was able to run ArcheRage but this Classic won't run.

Has anyone experienced this and figured out the solution? TIA for your help!

Is there any good way in goldmaking for a fresh lvl 50 on AAC? Mining?

I want to try and get back to archeage but I play from SEA I've heared archerage has skill queue which really helps player with high ping. But I prefer the old school gameplay like before I quit AA before. So I wanna know if AA classic have skill queue before I dive in.

Hello reddit! I dont frequent this site much or at all until recently but i felt this would be a good place to post and ask if there's any market for new Archeage private servers? its been a while since officials went down and i've been feeling the itch to go boating... I love archeage with my heart and soul and I want nothing more than to see its world thrive and flourish again without the convulated rule sets and issues plaqueing the modern public servers, my dream is to build a community around the game again in a manner very similar to archrage with new content, updates, events, and the like, but I am one man alone in a sea of krakens. Is there anyone interested in such a project, anyone interested in helping? this isn't exactly a small project and I can't imagine it going quickly but some part of me just can't let this game go and if there's enough of you out there who feel the same way, i'd be overjoyed to see this project gain any momentum at all but we will see.

for reference I've personally spent the last 3 weeks doing research and making attempts at running a server, im only posting this after coming to the conclusion that this is something that can be done. I'm not sure how much detail i can go into on the server stuff before i get myself in trouble but I must also outright say that I by myself can not handle with project, I do not have the knowledge or ability to code this and rely heavily on those who have very generously helped out so far. I make a meager living but entirely plan on dumping money into the project when needed, I don't want anything in game to be purchasable with real money other than maybe a title to show you helped out the project and probably a lot of out of game perks or something like that.

TL:DR I love archeage so much it hurts to see the state it's in and i want to build a community that can enjoy the game without constant struggle, will you join me?

Never had a favorite uncle touch me but I loved this game and it's style so much that when it closed I felt like I was groomed and violated repeatedly. We are all victims of this fever dream. I know you can play private servers but they come with too many technical issues with poor support and questionable management.

I mean it just makes me rock hard thinking about the times when you would do track pack runs across the Aurorian sea, faction fight in the golden plains of Halcy, run off the noobs in hell swamp. Lets MAKE ARCHEAGE GREAT AGAIN.

I played so long ago I am so unfamiliar with the game as it is now. I would like to get back into the game to test the waters as I really enjoyed the game back when I played it. I would like to make a healer/support type class that has some solo playability. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am playing on Archerage NA as it was the first I came across.

I just seen Belamy's YouTube video saying ArcheRage is where it's at. I am downloading it right now. I am Scottish, so not too sure what my ping will be like here. Given that, I am mostly a solo pve dad gamer. Can any of you recommend a good build for me to use? I intend to farm mobs for coin purses whilst watching netflix and jamming to music for about 2-3h every few days.

I remember running packs on this game for like 20-70 gold per pack like.. 10~ years ago? 2014 or so? Was enjoyable and peaceful asf tbh, and wouldn't mind coming back to the game to run packs and beef up my character. Is this game dead or what's good with it? If it's still alive, is running packs still a thing? I always wanted to run packs in a ship with a team but didn't play long enough for that.

Curious if anyone has or knows where I can get an MP3 of the daru saying "domaki dodoro" Or whatever they actually say. Also, the mail pop noise. I would like them for my phone notifications.

I remember playing archeage a really long time ago when it was somewhat a recognised game and I remember some indie studio made a movie about it, it wasn't specifically about the game but the main character played archeage after school. I've used Google, chatgpt and I can't find the god damned movie anyone remembers it ??

Did they kill my beloved AA for this dumpster fire game that looks half assed???
