I'm self studying APES. Currently going through Unit one and I wanted to know what I should memorize. How many details?
I'm using the Barron's APES Prep Book to study for reference.
I am tweaking out over a AP spanish essay I have in a few days. Does anyone have tips on how to read the sources and easily form an argument that's comprehensible in Spanish as a non-native speaker? I definitely struggling with the audio and trying to make sense out of three evidence sources in 40 minutes since my writing is known to not make sense a lot of the time. Also, how do I implement all three sources when I must argue one side yet at least 1 of the sources argues for the other side?
im a junior right now, all academic classes except AP lang and honors italian.
next year though, i plan on taking ONLY ap classes such as the following:
AP calc AB, AP Lit, AP Italian, and AP Macro
How would my workload look like? Are these relatively doable?
I'm currently a junior in high school and have been constantly tweaking out abt college apps that are coming up next year. I'm scared about not being able to get into schools because of my grades now and even previously from my freshman and sophomore year. In freshman year I got practically all A's in my first semester then 1 C but then next semester I brought that C up to a B but some of my A's went down to a B. Sophomore year was probably the biggest adjustment and I struggled a lot I got all B's my first semester and a C in chem and then 2nd the semester I got all A's and 2 B's in the only two AP classes I took, but I brought my chem grade up to an A. Now I'm a junior struggling sm right now and because of my grades idk if I'll be accepted into college. Even though I know grades aren't the only factor in getting into schools but I am freaking out as 1st semester of junior year is almost over and it's just getting closer and closer to senior year.
Anybody have any good resources for all the physics units and topics?
Right now specifically uniform circular motion and orbital motion. I just can’t understand these concepts at all and I don’t know why.
I'm in 10th grade right now and I am taking Geometry Honors meaning I'd be in pre-calc honors as a junior and am planning to take BC my senior year. Would it be better to take precalculus over the summer online and take AP calc my junior year then do like Stats or something my senior year or should I just stay on track. It seems like a no brainer but I can't concurrently take geometry and pre-calc so I can't start it early meaning I'd have to learn like a unit a week over the summer which isn't terrible but that's pretty much what my summer will revolve around. Another reason not to is that I'm planning on taking 4 other APs so that makes me think I shouldn't. I just really don't want to have to sit through pre-calc for a whole year in school.
So I'm picking my courses for next year relatively soon. I'm taking 4 APs this year and I'll admit, it's not easy. However, I want to take 5 next year but I don't know anyone at my school who's taken 5 in one year. How difficult really is it and should I consider doing it?
I wanna take:
All of these are courses I have genuine interest in, but I'm a bit concerned about the workload since I get stressed and burnt out relatively easily.
I'll have taken AP eng lang and lit by my junior year. What classes can I take to fulfill my 4th year of english? Dual enrollment is an option for me but I'm not sure because of the possible gap between my highschool's ap eng lit and something like expository writing.

to preface, i don’t dislike her at all. she’s a good teacher, i have her for a socials class this year and she’s great.
the problem with her in ap psych isn’t even that she’s a bad teacher, she knows her stuff and can teach it. the problem is she’s obsessed with “deflating” our grades. i’ve asked her constantly about how to get a higher grade in psych (i have a 94, which is good, but could be better) and she just tells me i don’t need a higher grade. i keep messing up on the AAQs because she hasn’t taught us how to do them properly and doesn’t give very specific feedback.
this isn’t so bad on its own but there’s another thing: she isn’t pacing it like an ap course. its december and we’re only halfway through unit 2. she says that she’s going slow so we can “learn and enjoy” it and that we’re gonna skip over some units that could cost us the ap credit. but according to her it’s fine because “you’re just gonna take psych 100 anyways!” i am taking this class specifically to skip psych 100 💀💀
while i enjoy the activities we do, i think we’re wasting a lot of time and we should be further along by now. i’m really not sure what to do. my mom is a psychologist so i might just self study some of ap psych and get her to help me.
as for the grades thing, theoretically i have no issue with grade deflation. i agree it’s stupid to get crazy high marks undeserved (also wtf are these american schools doing giving out 110% to students ??) but unfortunately that’s the standard rn and and one teacher deflating the grades of two classes out of the million other kids with inflated grades does nothing except prevent us from getting scholarships 😭😭
Hey guys! I have a part of my AP Research project due this week (love procrastination) that involves a quick survey about news and mental health that takes less than five minutes. Thanks for your cooperation!
Hey! My teacher gave me the 3 topics to study most for my LEQ. Can someone give me some sample questions?
Parts, partial fraction, u sub, long division/complete the square, etc.
Which one is the best to remember and will show up?
A lot my grades are close to switching letters
If I move in the middle of a school year what happens with my AP collegeboard since it’s past exam sign up time? and it’s already registered with my old school. And AP precalc is a new course so i’m not even sure if my new school has it. Is there a way for me to just finish the course on college board alone?
I am a international students I take AP CSP I dont have any code experience how I can do this task please helpp
i’m a junior in a regular honors american lit class we read a lot of historical nonfiction books. i’m taking the ap lang exam but i haven’t done anything so far to prep for it idk what im supposed to do
when i was a junior and sophomore, i didn’t think i would want to send my scores, so i chose the option to not have colleges see them. how do i change that?
I am a high school senior offering online APUSH tutoring to anyone who needs!
Does anyone recommend resources or websites for AP Pre-Calc? I pick up the material pretty quickly, I would just like more of an explanations to help prep for the exam.
has anyone taken an AP class for the GPA boost but didn’t take the exam?
I Takes 4 APs Environmental Science, CSP,Eng Lang,Microeconomics. And I need quality resources, what do you recommend? I cannot benefit from College Board Resources, my school does not offer these APs.
I'm a sopmhore and have had all A’s for a while. I don't think it’s due to grade inflation, because a lot of my peers receive b’s. I don't think I'm really smart(I got a 1260 on the psat as a sophomore). I'm taking AP gov and while I do good on unit test, I suck at frqs. My average without retakes for frqs is a 70 percent. I know how that frqs are a big part of Ap classes, so I am fearful that I won't be able to step it up enough. I wanted to take 4 aps, but now I'm really scared. I hope I don't fall off and have to go to community college. 😭😭. I always think I do well, but he doesn't like my connections because it is not exactly how he wants them. Help…
I'm taking statistics next year, and in the lesson videos, the instructor talked about something called 2 sample t intervals. These involve a critical value called t*, which I'm supposed to find using technology.
Unfortunately though, it seems that my calculator doesn't have the necessary function to find such a value. With things being so expensive these days, getting another one is the last thing I want to do. I don't know whom I can ask for help - is there any other way I can go about it?
