We have a house close to Boone so I do not have to mess with apartments or other housing.

What have your experiences been with parking, the experience as a whole, recommendations for or against it, anything really that you think could prove useful to someone considering it.

is january to late to apply to for the fall of 2025

Hey everybody, I was looking to help out my girlfriend as she goes to here and is trying to find somewhere to work, but seems to be struggling. She's looked through handshake and tried applying for a few work-study positions, but most of them seem to be filling up really quickly. Could i make it into app with a 2.46 weighted and a 22 on ACT(i could happily wait until January to apply because that's when this semester grades will be on my transcript and bring my gpa up). i'm also the class vice president and i have A LOT OF references from teachers.

I am trying to pull up an entire class participants so I can email one of my other classmates but it’s only showing me the students that are in my sub group within the class. I have removed all filters and I’m still only seeing the 3 other people in my group and not the entire class. Any ideas on how to fix this?

does anyone know if the off campus apartments like the standard or the cottages or whatever if they allow non app state students to live there? i’m a student at app & want to live w my bf next year & didn’t know if they allowed not app students to sign the leases & stuff pls lmk & also does the rent go on your student bill or do you have to pay out of pocket?

This is so fucked up to have us PAY for our spots and then make us MOVE? I have class till 4:45 PM, y'all care about a football game more than our education even though I paid $780 for my parking and $6000 at least for the semester. This is unfair to real students and employees of this university. Absolutely disgusting and money-hungry.

Keep hearing that housing is impossible. What is the reality of a transfer student who doesnt know anyone to find housing for 2025-26 school year?

Is it so bad that another school should be chosen?

town i was from didn't have buses and I've never really used them so i'm a little confused haha. I have the app and everything, just looking for some help distinguishing which ones go where i need and what the times actually are. I kinda need to go to walmart, and i know it's the red line but just wondering if anyone knows it's like exact times. I'm a little slow with this stuff so sorry if it's an odd question, but any help is nice.

We'll be in Boone next week with my daughter, who's visiting campus for the first time as a prospective student, and we decided to grab tickets to the S. Alabama game on Thursday. I know Thursday games are probably a different vibe, but are there any special traditions or pre/during-game rituals we should check out? Will the tailgaters still be out for a weeknight game? Marching band pep rallies, team walks, fun chants, stuff like that.

And I've checked out the many threads on parking, so I have a good feel for the situation there (bring cash, arrive early, prepare to walk). We're planning on finding a spot in town early in the day and just enjoying the day on the town before the game starts. But any suggestions for teen-friendly restaurants, cool shops (esp. bookstores), etc. are also welcome.

I had gone through a depressive episode last year and tanked my gpa to a 2.6 from lack of caring. I got straight As my 4th quarter, but it is only at a 2.76. I have my entire senior year to raise it, but I need to know my chances of getting in, I had spent my entire life thinking this college accepted anybody and just found out how hard it is to get in. I’m panicking
