Get those endless wings!

When I went to Applebees tonight,it looked like it was closed with 4 cars in the parking lot. I asked why they were dead. They told me they lost their liquor license 4 months ago.
Now is this NOT making the news?
Does anyone how the chicken tenders are cooked? Are they pre cooked or raw? Just wondering due to this phobia I have of throwing up lol
Just wondering, do the tips you make on carside/togo get taken out of your paycheck? I work like 40 hours a week at my Applebees and sometimes I feel like my paycheck is less than I think it should be, but I might be wrong. Just asking to see if anyone knew. Thanks!
So I noticed when I clocked out last night, I made around $55 in CC tips, now however when my tips got deposited I only received $35, is this normal? Or should I ask/bring this to my manager’s attention? I don’t wanna be skimped out of my CC tips 😭😭💀
Just wondering, I don't mind being there the whole day or 4 hours, just would like to get a picture of how long days usually are.
Random obsession was Applebees lava cakes for the last 12 year anybody know where I can buy these in bulk if possible 😭😭
CAN YOU PLEASSEEEEE TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THE SWEET ASIAN CHILI SAUCE? It’s so delicious 😭
that’s it. that’s all I have to say.
So I just applied at Applebees as a dishwasher cuz it was the only position available , I never worked at a restaurant before so I’m wondering if it’s really stressful ? Do you get to work overtime? Do you ever have to deal with customers ? What’s the dress code ? If you have to wear a baseball cap can you wear it backwards? How many hours a week do you usually get ?
I have a question and I was just wondering if this is just my store. Does the servers at your Applebees clean up after themselves once the customers leave? I only say that because The managers at my store scream all the time “servers pre-bus your table please!” And only like two out of the 6 servers last night was actually cleaning up their tables, leaving most of the work to the hostess (me) and the two other hosts.
Like yesterday was already stressful for me because the hostess before me had to leave (she’s a minor and can only work a certain amount of hours) and there was tables full of plates and whatnot, with big groups of people coming in. The GM was no help, and the other manager like.. disappeared. Apparently none of the servers didn’t bother to clean up after themselves and spend most of the time gossiping or still helping their customers. But they be quick as hell to grab the money off the table, but just never clean, and it’s like.. is this not your job too? I know as a hostess I’m also supposed to clean but it’s like I’m not going to go to every table while you all idle away near your stations waiting for the next customer. If I knew this is how it was going to be I might have well just became a server/waitress lol. I’m not saying their jobs aren’t hard, but it would be nice if they all would actually clean up after themselves
i have an interview for a host position this Thursday and i'm a little nervous about my piercings (and a tattoo on my wrist, but it can easily be hidden). i have my septum, and left nostril pierced. do any employees on this sub know if this is a no go for them?
Where does Applebee's buy their Holland Rusk for french onion soup from? I can't find them ANYWHERE...what brand is it? Thanks!
Hi all, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I am curious about the Nutritional Facts of the current seasonal drinks. Is there anywhere I can find them? It is not on Applebee's website under the nutritional facts. Just the measurements for what's in the drinks would also be excellent. Thanks!
I'll try to make this relatively brief, there shouldn't be a lot but it does require some detail.
I've been visiting Applebee's often as my Fiancé works there and I generally like the wings (Honey Pepper is godsent).
I downloaded the app a long time ago and made an account, and saw (again) today that there was an offer for a free appetiser for joining Club Applebee's. I never got that upon making my account months ago.
I thought maybe I hadn't done it right and that's why I never got the offer in my account? I checked my info and:
Filled out all of the info on my account Signed up for emails + texts Waited the 30 minutes for changes to take effect Checked back in at roughly 15 minute intervals after the 30 minutes Went to the Club Applebee's page in-app specifically and tried to fill that out, but it said it wasn't working and to try again later.
Nothing was in my offers tab after the 30 minutes, no new texts from Applebee's, no new emails. It's now been over an hour since I signed up for texts/emails and added more info to my account.
I wanted to reach out to support in the "Contact Me" tab but neither the app nor site will let me input a store location and that is REQUIRED to submit a ticket. Calling the number sends me straight to voicemail since it's after 5pm.
Side note, why Monday of all days to have the phones open later than 5pm? Why not Friday? The weekend?
I'm at a loss for now. I'm hardcore craving those wings, and I'd love to get that offer since I've had my account for literally months already and not gotten anything yet. Not a single offer.
Not only am I in the area of the restaurant tonight (so I can pick up) but the restaurant doesn't deliver to my house (outside of the delivery zone) so I was hardly ever able to get the 50 cent boneless wings while they were a thing. Feeling like I'm always missing out on these.
And another side note- Do part-time staff at Applebee's make overtime wages, or generally get a percentage/amount off on meals while they work?
My Fiancé transferred from a store downstate to a new (current) one when we moved earlier this year.
They first knocked my Fiancé's pay down a dollar because of a system error, then got it back up after several weeks and didn't backpay those lost wages. I don't they're getting overtime hours (not sure if that's normal– never worked restaurant biz).
They also don't receive $4 off any food while working and apparently neither do full time staff?
One of the managers at a nearby location that was filling in temporarily said the position my Fiancé works should be making $10 an hour. That's a huge leap from where they are right now, and everyone applauds how they perform (Carside) because they do it better than the other staff (but tip culture here sucks and they make no tips) so moving to $10 an hour would save a drowning employee.
How would we go about opening the conversation for that raise? Since apparently it's weird they weren't making that already?
Maybe it's just my experience, but when I order menu drinks- they are very weak and extremely sweet, but if I order off menu drinks like a vodka cranberry or tom Collins they are alcohol heavy. I believe thier bartenders are trained in the menu drinks but not on "off menu" drinks. I suppose you could get a weak drink "off menu," but that hasn't been my experience. More bang for my buck.
On 10/10/24 at approx 12:57 or little before myself and family visit the Applebee's establishment located at 2071 West Eight Mile Rd, Detroit Mi 48203. I see there's a different address from the check 2111 8 Mile Rd
I want to express that we are very dissatisfied in the service of the food. The waitress we had not problem with; but whomever the cook is NEEDS TO BE FIRED, OR GO BACK TO SCHOOL LEARN HOW TO COOK PERIOD, AND I WILL TELL THAT TO HIS FACE. PERIOD. The food was very distasteful, not hot, and it was dry, it seems like it was re-cook and sat out for a long while. The host that sat us at our table should know how to handle drinks after touching menus. DON'T TOUCH THE RIM. Now I know I may not hear from no one which is find. Nevertheless we have to let people know how this location operates.
I hate to say this as an African American maybe this location was just built for the ghetto, none class people, because it seems to me there was no integrity, morels, standards, when it came to who cook the food. Maybe he/she is addlepated. I must ask why people don't take pride into what they are doing. (Think on this, if YOU and your family goes a restaurant you would/expect your food to be right.) The employees represent management and seeing how the food is, lets me know how the manager is.
As stated I don't expect a call back, heck why should I it's in Detroit LOL I should've knew better then to take my family there, but wanted to give a chance.
Has anyone had it and is it good? My location didn't have the alcohol needed. I tried to get a bucket but they took way too long to make it so I cancel it lol
so 2 weeks ago I went to a new Applebees-IHOP dual restaurant in a local mall, oh did I regret that.
First off, we had to wait almost 2 hours to get a table, even though there were many empty tables, When we finally got seated it took a good half hour to get the drinks, and more time after that to receive the first 3 meals (we ordered 5) we ended up leaving with 2/5 of the family not eating. The food was good, but everything else was bad. Service, atmosphere (Music too loud and IHOP had a bigger seating section than Applebees) I won't come back until they fix the thing up.
The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth, but I still like Applebees.
Pls lmk
Received the just join appetizer coupon...does that include the 3 apps in 1, and all others?
I’m going for an interview for the position of a key holder/ restaurant lead. I’m looking for any recommendations and help on the interview process. I really want thins job and want to make a great impression. I have already had a manager position before at Rita’s Italian I’ve for 2 years, so it’s not exactly the same but I still have managing experience. Also wondering what the position experience is like? Any help and recommendations would help tremendously. Thank you!
I just noticed last night that the server mixes Dark Berry Bash behind the bar counter. I always thought it was just a regular flavor at the dispenser. How is Dark Berry Bash made?
The first time I ordered a Vodka Tonic, more than a year ago. I was told they were out. The next time, that their supplier was out. The third time that they are not "allowed" to order it. i have written to the home office with this question, but had no answer.
If a person has 14 tables got a tip on every table and mostly card but a few were cash... How did I owe them 143.00... the print out at end of shift you are either positive or negative so they say...and I made over 600.00 in sales and brought home maybe 40 dollars... Can anyone explain it to me?
