Spotted new antennas on the tower in my hometown in NorthWest Indiana.

I swear this tower had longline antennas when I was a kid but it seems very different now. Still a cool tower.

Odd equipment on roof of cell site equipment room

Help me resolve this - this photo is the equipment building for a cell site near where I live. It's a big tower and then a standalone equipment building, with a good-sized generator as well.

On opposite corners of the equipment building are two round antennas/dishes pointed at each other across the roof about 25 feet apart.

What the F are they?

This super cool mast in my hometown Boise ID

I noticed the two point-to-point microwave backhauls near the base, many 5g panels up along the mast, and what seems to be some sort antennas on the top and near the middle of the mast (probably TV or FM).

People with crimping deficiencies should be jailed. I've been on far too many service calls because of this.

What type of dish is this?

Hi all, this is in Washington D.C. for context. Apologies that this is the best angle I have. Any ideas what this is? Thank you!

Is this a cellular connectivity antenna? See these in Manhattan in many places.

Not sure if it’s an antenna but….?

My city is completely littered with these. I’ve seen at least 3-4 just in my side of town, and the east side that I frequent every so often. They’re. Every. Where. Some are partially disassembled, like the panels up top are missing. This is the only one I’ve seen that isn’t like this. Anybody happen to know what this is?

Strange Self Supporting Tower

This tower struck me as particularly odd. No insulators on the bottom, no obviously visible transmitters or receivers on the tower itself. Looked online and apparently its FCC designation is FB2C, which is Mobile Relay - Interconnect. Anyone know what this tower does?

A very haphazard design for the v-dipole

Consists of a window opener and a tripod. Any suggestions on how to improve (e.g. adding a reflector maybe)?

ERRCS

Well a symbol of an antenna.

https://imgur.com/a/BR6FuvU

So the Knox Box is not related to the ERRCS? Right?

That is the Knox Box just opens the door. The sign is to let fire know there is ERRCS in the building. Does the service use different frequencies?

Hobby setup? Or something more official?

I assume these must be somebody’s HAM setup but i know nothing about antennas. That whole structure appears to be dedicated to the arrays surrounding it. However it looks similar in design to the residence in the background. Which makes me think it must just be a serious hobbyist.

What antenna(s) am I looking at?

Looks like a cell tower but only 1 antenna? It’s near the edge of a neighborhood that borders up to foothills.
