Mature Political Post Warning!
There was a lot of jumping by Indian Gen Z and Gen Y for bringing Anime into India, a whole social media propaganda was run by Whixer like youtubers to bring DBZ movie to Indian theatres, since then Anime is cummulatively becoming mainstream in India. But did anyone ever think about its consequences? The Anime you know today, would never be the same if it stays in India and would succumb to dirty Indian influence. The disasters it would bring to the Anime industry as well as Indian teens would be irrepairable. No I am not talking about saasbahu-fication of Anime nor am I dehumanising Indians, I am talking about this!
Bollywood started in India as an entertainment industry, the major themes of bollywood used to be love-dove, rich-poor, folktales and unity-diversity stuff. Political propaganda in bollywood used to be restricted to Europe = degenerate colonisers, India-Pak war, India-China war, WW2, corruption and propaganda of government schemes, in those two there were messages of peace and progress. But since the 90s to the present it is getting flooded with malicious propaganda ran by Indian political parties for demonising and othering Indians against Indians. Many of these are literally made in open glorification of terrorists & mass murderers.
There is political propaganda in Japanese Anime, but it is not about inciting terrorism and demonising other communities. The moment Anime becomes completely mainstream in India, it would not be any "Death Note", "Your Name", "Dragon ball" or "Grave Of The Fireflies", it would be infected with Indian politics and soon it would meet the same fate as bollywood. Khalistani, Hindutva, Jihadi, Naxal and Wardiwala Gunda (as in above photo) type Animes would be made hit in India as "cool" & "trending" and would be used for indoctrinating teens into such activities. And fk off to anyone (a lot in this sub) who try to justify any single one of them, half of my life has passed seeing Red Corridor, Green Hunt, Kandhamal, 26/11, 2010 protests and Tarn Taran. Everyone feels like a warrior until the real war mongers unleash violence. Reputation of Indians would sink to the level of gutter if our politics is to go global, or perhaps it already is to that level.
For those who think this is just my paranoia, you should research on full-spectrum propaganda and what happaned to Venus Centre (Damascus) during Syrian civil war, an old business of Anime weebs in Syria since the 1980s. Politicisation of pop cultures is inevitable and ends up badly both for folks and the pop cultures.
Hi, so I started watching Naruto before One Piece and I agree with the fact that both are different genres and all but I just can’t understand why OP fans despise Naruto so much. The war arc in Naruto was very long and it got boring to the end but Naruto is my boy! And I can go to any length to defend him. I was able to relate with Naruto and his situations from the beginning of the anime and was so happy after he returned to Konoha after the pain arc. Like there are so many episodes which I watch every now and then to feel better. While I also agree that OP has some insane world building and the story is epic as well, I just can’t fathom the fact that people can hate Naruto so easily. Like who are these people to even question one of the big 3?
Aight this turned kinda into a rant but for me OP will be an epic manga/anime always but my fav will be Naruto and none can change my mind.
Tbh, I find bleach fans so friendly and they just mind their business lol.
Teru Kurebayashi is left all alone in the world after the death of her brother, Souichirou. Well, all alone except for "Daisy," someone that she can always talk to and who never hesitates to cheer her up. However, Teru has never met Daisy, she has no idea what he looks like, and her only means of contacting him is through a cell phone that her brother left for her.
In stark contrast to the kind words and encouragement Teru receives from Daisy, she gets nothing but grief from the rude school janitor, Tasuku Kurosaki, who forced Teru to work for him after she accidentally broke a window. But while Kurosaki seems like a lazy good-for-nothing who only enjoys making her miserable, is there more to him than meets the eye?

My Score: 8.0
I edited and added music for better flow, Actual clip is around 5:30. No other media/anime gets me hyped up and motivated like Dragon Ball does. Kudos to artist for next level dubbing.

Day 13. I'm picking small movies cuz I have wake up early in the morning. Movie was BLACK MAGIC M-66 A 1987 movie which is just 47 mins. It was recommended by someone on my previous posts.
It was an action and sci fi movie. Dealing with the consequences of high technology, a specific robot kind goes out of hand and it's about stopping them. It's fun to watch actually, cuz our protag is a female reporter who's very much clumsy which gives a bit comic relief to the movie lol.
Innocent lives gets cooked due to greedy higher ups and stuff. Really shown how hard it is for the military and risky their lives are and always the major carrying the weights of lives of his men.
Overall really enjoyable movie with neat pacing and direction. Ratings don't do justice to this film and deserves more recognition. Retro fans should really give it a try.
