After installing the Android 15 Beta 2, Android Auto refuses to work with my car. There is just an error message, saying it cannot connect to the head unit, and the cable might be broken.
Since 15.2 i am Not able to place any Widget. Anyone else got this issue?
As it show in title the select text not working. Does anyone have this issue?
Settings > Display > when pressing the Screen saver option I'm taken back to the main Settings page. Trying again I get the "settings not responding" message box with the option to close the app.
Pixel 8
Bug ID: 341406580
I just got a pixel 6 pro. In my excitement of getting accustomed to Android 14 (coming from the stone ages of Android 8(!!) on an LG V30) I thought it might be fun/cool opting into the beta. Which I did with this site: https://www.google.com/android/beta#devices .
Anyway, after a few days of playing around with regular Android 14 I realized I don't really need to be on the bleeding edge of Android. However, since I already opted into beta, and I've continually denied the notification to download and install the beta, what happens when I opt out using the same site? Google isn't going to send me a "downgrade" to 14, which I'm already on, and make me wipe my device right?
PS ignore my flair I just picked one
EDIT UPDATE: I went ahead with the advice and recommendation to go ahead and opt out, and I didn't get my phone wiped.
First image is pre opt out, I then opted out, restarted my phone, and the result is the second image
I got the May 15 Android 15 Beta 2 update notification and downloaded it, only to find that it keeps failing to reboot and install. Tried 7-8 times now...?
Since the update to beta 2, the share button isn't working in any app. I press it and it just does nothing. Problem on Pixel 7a
Update: It's just pictures.

Hey guys,
Since updating to the new 15.2 beta version my P8P has been having issues with fingerprints... I tried resetting them and it comes to the same thing. Don't know if I'm the only one with this issue..
Thanks
I recently switched to the latest Android 15 Beta 2 and was trying out new things and features implemented into it; as far I remember, there was a notification cooldown feature mentioned in the articles based on previous builds. If anyone is aware of what happened to the feature or the status of it being implemented, it would be great to know as I'm quite interested in using that one out.
anyone else having a problem playing videos with Mxplayer just poping up and closing?
Just installed beta 2 on my Pixel 7....I'm literally seeing nothing different....I feel like even the some of the new features I read in different articles I'm not finding.... anything I should be looking for that's "new"? Kinda disappointed so far
(Issue is for both Android 15 beta 1 and beta 2, on a Pixel 8 Pro)
It is 2:46 Eastern Time, so my phone is automatically set for light theme (day mode). So say I need to be in a dark room and use my phone. I'll swipe down and click on dark theme, manually changing from light theme (day mode) to the dark theme (night mode). So not to cause eye strain.
But ever since joining the Android 15 Beta, when it is day time (light theme/mode) and I manually change the theme/mode to dark mode, about 30 to 60 seconds later the system will automatically switch back to light theme.
I reported this several weeks ago (bug ID: 337635380) to the team and provided an email with a screen capture of what was going on. I was hoping this would be addressed in the latest release. But I still have the theme issue.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I want the themes to automatically change for light theme (day mode) and dark theme (night mode), however, if I manually change the theme, I want the theme to stay at what I've set it at until the next sunrise/sunset cycle.)
So for example, if it's daytime and I manually set the phone to dark theme, I want the system to stay using the dark theme until either I switch it back to light theme or tomorrow's sunrise.
Link to video below, but anytime I put my phone to sleep using the side button for the first time, it only shows the fingerprint reader with always on display turned on. If I tap the side button again to reveal the lock screen, then put it to sleep again, the clock will correctly show.
So essentially, if I want always on display to work properly, I need to hit the side button 3 times.
Is this a known bug? I'm able to reproduce 100% of the time.

NFC does not work properly on beta 2. I can no longer unlock a rental bike, nor can I use it on public transport to validate my ticket.
The phone just vibrates continuously and nothing happens when I use NFC.
Has anybody faced this problem, randomly when i open chat all the other persons bubles are white and the font is very light gray.
My bubbles are very light green and the font light gray.
If i back off to the chats list and reopen the chat the bubbles and fonts are back yo normal.
I'm running AP21.240305.005
Since I updated to Android 15 Beta 2 on my Google Pixel 6 Pro, a lot of apps crashes suddenly. Specially Instagram. It crashes very often and makes it literally unusable. Also, alot of android games that I play for example: Subway Surfers, state.io and 2 player games. All have been crashing in the start 10 seconds of the game.
How much battery performance improves thank you
Anyone else having issues with the volume of the speaker with beta 2, it's very low for me
After changing the authentication method from a different pin to the lock screen pin, Private Space is locked and don't accept any pin (I'm sure it's the right one). When trying to delete Private Space from Settings I can't do it because it asks for the Private Space pin. How can I reset it?
Title
I created a private space, which then created with some of the default applications already there, like Camera, Chrome, Play Store etc.. So I thought of disable these defaults application to have a clear view and avoid distractions. Hence I go ahead and cleared all the applications by disabling the application. Now when I access this private space it took me directly to the settings page in Private space instead of the Private Space home screen. I was expecting to get the home screen with the plus icon to add our desired applications.
Could someone confirm if this a bug?
In the previous beta, I wasn't able to unlock using fingerprint, if I didn't use the power button to turn off the screen (e.g. using an app that uses accessibility features to turn off the screen).
That seems fixed in Beta 2 - fingerprint unlock is available regardless of which method is used to turn off the screen.
Hello, as you can see in the picture, sine the Android beta 2 update on my pixel 8 pro, when I launch a Facebook video, the application is cut off at the bottom of the screen, you have the same thing ? Edit: Problem solved thanks to the new Facebook update
On Beta 2, when I'm in photos and hit share, app closes. In messages however, picker works fine. I filed a big report, just wanted to put this out there in case it happens to anyone else
In Android 14 you can view and change which eSIm (or physical SIM) is used for calls, data, and SMS. My recollection was that you could get to that menu through the Network and Internet SIMs menu.
With 15 beta 2, I can't find a way to view which SIM is used for calls, data, and SMS, without switching a SIM or or off. Switching a SIM on or off brings up a menu where you can select which SIM goes for calls, data, and SMS, but I don't see a way to get to that menu without turning a SIM on or off.
Am I missing something here?
I would love to install it on my P8P, but I'm worried about bugs or other problems
Hello
with the new Android 15 beta 2, impossible to use Google USB-C earphones
it is the same with another USB-C earphones
(Just a heads-up as I'll report this to the developers.)
MX Player Pro has been my go-to video player for a long time, but now it simply closes without any warning or message when I launch it.
As for the free version, MX Player, it shows this dialog:
MX Player
Component files are corrupted or Android
internal modules are not compatible with
current version of MX Player.
( OK )
And then closes when you tal "OK".
I have noticed the Audio from media and from the call ringer is considerably low. Speakers are sounding low compared to Beta 1 on full volume. Has anyone else noticed this?
Tried turning off Adaptive Sounds,no changes though.
