Hello guys! I'd like to ask how to downgrade Android 16 Public Beta to Android 15.
I didn't find any tutorials.
When I opt-out from the Beta program, the phone doesn't find any updates.
Thanks for the help!
Anyone else facing problem with keypad. It wasn't before, but from last 5 days my keypad when I am typing something is getting stuck and it doesn't get fix untill I restart my phone. This is one of the worst bug. Please get this fix.
This was my main way of switching between apps... but now on the beta it's doing this. Anyone else have this issue? (pixel 8a) Here's a video demonstration: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AmzEWc5YmxBFMzDC-RkHZ6vv5LiRMO2L/view?usp=drivesdk
Still got the android 15 beta installed after I opted out but haven't received a stable version yet, I thought it was supposed to be out. Been waiting since early December
With tmux and neovim, Linux terminal feels more ready for light dev work. Is there a way to change terminal font so that the icons can be displayed with proper font style? Or is there a way for A16 to config font style for app?
So, under Settings - Storage, it shows Android 15 occupies about 10GB space, when my Pixel 9 has been already updated to Android 16 Beta 1. Anyone else seeing this?
Android 16 beta 1 pdf file crashing on file app and poor battery life on pixel 8a
I'm using a Pixel 8a and when I updated to Android 16 Beta 1, this happened. Anyone know why?
Opted out of android beta the other day on my google pixel 6 pro after wiping my data its unusable. phone loads into the screen simply white with the colorful google logo. i can hold the power button approx 30 seconds and it will go to a black screen and come right back to this. i can access the bootloader menu and have tried factory reset to no avail. no known water damage. I was told by a shop it may be a software issue but i don't know how i would go about getting that fixed. if anyone has ideas or similar things please help.
Can't allow macrodroid to allow display over apps with 16 beta... I go to settings/apps/ special app access but the options for macrodroid are greyed out
Recently upgraded to 16 BP22 on P6 and all of a sudden Minecraft freezing randomly and at one point said "could not save world due to corruption"
Hi,
Is it better or worse than Android 15?
When using an external USB DACs [FiiO BTR7, THX Onyx & AudioQuest Cobalt/w JitterBug] often results in extremely loud static noise. This issue happens to every external USB DAC except Google/Apple dongles and when using either the Qobuz/Tidal application. I do not experience the issue when using USB Audio Player Pro, with the same USB-C DACs. This does not appear to be a Hardware/Qobuz/Tidal issue.
Also when is Android going to stop resampling music playing through the USB-C port + re-adding missing Bluetooth Audio Codecs in Android 16 Beta1
resampled music samples;
- 16B/44.1K => 32B/48K
- 24B/192K => 32B/192K
Missing Bluetooth Audio Codecs;
- aptX XXXX
- LDAC
- LHDC

I opted out of android 16 beta and I got the update but then after tapping download update it said, "Update can not be downloaded, please check you WiFi or connect to a different WiFi". My WiFi is strong so it can't be that. Does anyone know what to do, I've restarted my phone many times
i am currently using android 15 Official version updated to January Patch... I opted out from the beta program for a while so why did they sent me the update for the Android 16 Beta...? I don't want to update my Pixel 6 pro to android 16 yet ... i would rather wait for the stable version to be out.... I tried to opt out again from the Beta program but it won't let me opt out ... A message pops up whenever i try to opt out from it saying " We could not remove your device at this time. Please try again later. " . What should i do now...?
Are there any news regarding the Pixel Screenshots and Studio app in German y on the new beta in Android 16? Thx
I've been using Android 16 beta 1 on my pixel 8 (base) and it's been pretty snappy and responsive so far. In terms of battery life I haven't seen any improvements or downgrades either, so I've been tempting to update my pixel 9 to android 16. How's battery life there ? Improved or downgraded?
I switched to Android beta even android 15 beta 4 was released. I didn't know back then that you don't automatically leave the beta over android 15 is released.
Now there is an update, android 16 beta 1. It says on the "system update" page that I can leave the beta without wipe if I run a needs starting with b11. I am on that version, to be exact it's BP11.241121.013 - yet when I leave the android beta via g.co/androidbeta , all I get offered is uninstalling the beta WITH wipe.
Please, is there any way to get out of beta without wiping? I really don't want to start in beta 1 of Android 16.
In android 16 beta ,Not able to open document file in Google file manager . From last 2 weak it showing same issue.
If I could, I would post two screenshots which explain everything. One shows Androd demanding I wipe the phone to install system 15, and the other showing the current installed system behind the latest system 15. I see no way around this insanity
So I have a tablet that's an android tablet. When I got it, it had Android 14. It's a newer tablet with Android 14. However, it still hasn't updated to Android 15 yet, and I've checked and tried. Should I be concerned? If it's concerning, what do I do to fix it? I'm positive it's a newer tablet. Please give me advice I can actually use, I'd really appreciate it.
Previously when I received a text message, the message was displayed in the notifications and I could reply with the suggested replies. However, when I now click on reply from the notification, I have the keyboard that appears but without suggested replies and I reply from the notification. Has this suggested reply function from the notification been removed?
I am on QPR 2 Beta 3. I was using my phone in other apps while I had engaged the Hold For Me feature on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. I noticed that my third party keyboard (Microsoft SwiftKey) became slow during the call, and when I tried to backspace to delete anything, it was mostly unresponsive. After I completed the call, keyboard function became quick and reliable again without rebooting or closing any apps. Anyone else see anything like that?
Hi everyone. I'm considering whether I should continue being part of the beta test program or switch to the stable version. Are there any critical issues with Beta 1, such as problems with NFC, battery life, crashes, etc.?
Hey guys, i want to switch back to the stable version until a16 comes in good shape in beta. When should i opt out to not loose my data?
Please implement this Google.
Anyone else having difficulty with the Linux terminal? It's pretty unstable. Errors when loading, crashing randomly, perpetually loading.
I get bursts of good performance though, which is nice.
Screen frezes, many apps crashes while using and file apps won't open
I recently updated my phone (P6P) to Android 16 beta 1, and i noticed a change that i liked a lot. When i restart my phone or i turned it off completely and turn it on again, now it starts smoothly, feels fluid and very comfortable, i don't know if it's part of the update, but it feels great to start my phone and it's totally ready to use, without having to wait for the phone to stabilize to be used comfortably
Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I noticed that every app, phone dialer, texting, etc. The phone kicks me out. Making me having to go back to it, only to be kicked out again. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? The oy solution that I found is to slowly bring up my list of apps, and tap back on it. This only works half the time, though.
