Since updating from beta 4.2 to QPR 1.1 on the 9 Pro XL the back to home animations on Nova Launcher and other third party launchers are broken. They worked perfectly on beta 4.2. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
As a OS developer with full access by lets say the Google TV OS. My goal is to:
Are there APIs or frameworks within the Google TV ecosystem that can support these functionalities? Could anyone provide more details with documentation and more capabilities and any limitations?
What am I missing?
· I signed up to the beta program. My pixel 8 pro qualifies as per google site.
·after opting in the website explicitaly states you will receive and OTA update.
·checked phone settings -> system -> software updates (And after installing small security feature) I am still stuck on "your system is up to date" current version 14...
Any ideas? What gives?
PS I have had pixel phones year of release dating back since Pixel 3XP
PPS google is really referring us all to a reddit post so we can all help each other.... But they aren't helping? Very SUS approach of moving forward. It's not horrible cuz I trust people with hands on experience , but at the same time, shouldn't we be relying on pros/ coders/ the actual team that built the platform? 🤷🏻♂️
While scrolling or swiping, the phone freezes for a second.During scrolling or swiping, the phone freezes for a second. This happened after he rebooted due to a long game. Even after cooling down, the problem remained
I have in Developer options "Transparent navigation bar" turned on and in most apps it still any other colour but not transparent. Even in Chrome it still white or dark(depends on theme). I haven't found any info related to this, so how to make this option to work?
Hello, I currently have AP41.240726.009 on my Pixel. Can I exit the beta program without a hard reset?
Please fix the Newsfeed delay when you swipe left on the homescreen. I went to report a bug, but it's too comprehensive and time consuming, I havn't got time.
Thanks.
I opted in for the Android 15 Beta for my Pixel 9 Pro XL but I am still showing my system is up to date when I check for a software update. (Currently on Android 14 latest build). Any suggestions?
Has anyone had an appointment tell them that data saver was enabled when it wasn't? I had my apple music tell me that it was enabled when I attempted to download music. I had to make an exception for the data limiter even though I've never turned it on except in low battery circumstances
I am using pixel 9 pro XL during phone call the network switches to 4G so any option comes so that 5G connection continues if any please show me or any other face this issue
My Pixel can’t find the latest beta after I got the device enrolled. Is there a chance how I can force the OTA?
Thx in advance
Title says in all, really!
I had a notification to turn 80% charge limit when I first got my Pixel 9 Pro XL, and updated it to QPR 1.1.
But now I can't find any way of turning it off.
I've googled it, but not even Google knows, well, the search engine at least...
If you can help me and maybe everyone else in my boat, I'd really appreciate it!
Other than rolling back to a previous version, which would be pure hassle, I'm stumped.
Many thanks in advance 🙏
My phone has been Opt in and enrolled however a day later the beta update still isn't showing. I'm checking system updates 5 times a day! My Pixel 9 Pro XL it worked just fine (same account) but not the 7a weirdly.
What do I do?
Anyone have Instagram background data keep turning itself back on? I've turned it off three times today cause it was warming up my phone.
I’ve been having a major issue with my Pixel 6 Pro. The phone overheats and won’t turn on unless I put it in the freezer for a few minutes. Once it cools down, I can turn it on again, but this is obviously not a long-term solution. Here are more details:
Device: Pixel 6 Pro
OS: Running on Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 (still waiting for the next update)
Problem: The phone overheats and refuses to turn on until it has cooled down (by placing it in the freezer).
Glitching Issue: When I try to turn the phone on, sometimes it gets stuck at the Google logo, showing a glitch effect (like screen tearing or flashing). It can stay like this for hours, and I have to hold the power and volume up buttons to force it off.
What I’ve tried: Safe mode, wireless charging, and letting it cool naturally, but the problem persists.
Additional Information: I can’t back up my data because the phone won’t stay on long enough. I’m trying to avoid a factory reset because I need to preserve my data.
Has anyone else faced this issue or know of any solutions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Noticed my battery runs out much much faster after this update. I use pixel stand 2.
Is this a thing for anyone else?
Can't find settings for that.
On Android 15 Beta 4.2. NOT QPR1 Beta 1.1.
If there's anyone here who's unable to toggle VoLTE & VoWIFI (or cannot see the option itself), please give an upvote to the report I made on the Android Issue Tracker:
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/363890567
As some of you may know, this is very easy to enable using certain apps, but none of us should have to resort to such workarounds. Personally, I consider this an essential feature as it prevents my phone from automatically switching from 4G -> 3G just for voice calls. Having VoLTE or VoWIFI means potential battery savings. I also believe this is yet another instance of region-blocking.
I have made the report specifically for Maldives, but I guess the same thing applies for any other country as well.
Most of my games keep randomly closing.(Pixel 8 pro)
As stated, random YouTube music audio seemed to be less on QPR1, but has returned on QPR1.1. Also a short (2 second) blast at full volume when disconnecting from Android Auto, seemingly random as well. This has came and went through the beta cycle, but seems to have returned on 1.1.
Am I missing something, or do I have a setting incorrectly set? It's frustrating to have my music randomly playing while I'm interacting with a customer at work. Haha.
проблема з модемом здійснити дзвінок не можливо або він припиняється любої секунди проблема була до бета-версії скидання не допомагає
So after months of monitoring this sub for the beta, I finally decided that imma enroll in the beta, and I did so 3 days ago however i never got the update for it. I then decided to opt out and enroll again as I heard that worked for some people. But I waited more than 24 hours and I've still got not the update. What's going on? Have they paused the roll out or something?
[I can't find a flair for Android 15 beta 4.2 / Pixel 9 Pro XL]
I'm concerned about the Bluetooth radio in my Pixel 9 Pro XL. The strength of the Bluetooth signal is clearly much weaker than it is on my Pixel 8 Pro. (Both devices are running Android beta 15 AP31.240617.015)
Regardless of which of my Bluetooth devices I use when I connect it to the Pixel 9 Pro XL in my front left pant pocket, the signal breaks up every time I turn away from the phone or bend over. (No, I'm not overweight.) Also, when I set the phone down and walk away a short distance, the signal starts breaking up much sooner than it does on my Pixel 8 Pro.
Are there any known issues with Bluetooth signal strength on a Pixel 9 Pro XL running the latest Android beta?
Is it just me or our others reporting similar results?
I am on a Pixel 9 I still don't have Android 15 how do I get it OTA on my device?
I am using pixel 9 pro XL and i am enrolle to Android 15 beta on Google beta program site but not get update to beta program anyone please help me
Sir, when I record a 4k 60fps video in my google pixel 6 pro phone, the camera gets stuck while zooming in android 15 beta. Please solve this issue.
Hi there I just signed up for the beta program today on my new pixel 9 I'm just wondering how long does the settings take to show the beta update
As title says, can't listen to music over Bluetooth because it goes silent and unable to get started again. Incredibly annoying. Plus calls still drop randomly over Bluetooth
Is there a workaround?
This is a pixel Pixel 8 Pro. Every time I receive a text on my phone, this is what comes up on my watch. I'm currently using Google messages. It defeats the purpose of being able to see my messages on my watch so I didn't have to get my phone out. I know that this has been posted before. Hopefully the more exposure gets the issue fixed in the next update.
I get this static icon when it's supposed to be a loading android load animation. Wondering if I'm the only one. Beta pixel 6a
