I never ever found a song that shazam was usefull on mine music taste/genre (i play fiddle). But it is cool that there is a application that could search music from the mic. After 10 years having shazam with me, is it time to let go this app. Or should it update the app for the hope its going be usefull some day? Is Shazam Bloatware?
Using SMBSync2 for the longest time, and totally love it. Never bothered looking for anything else. I backup my phone to my QNap nas drive, on schedule, and choose specific folders. The fact that it's gone off the play store, and hasn't been updated in over 4 years, got me wondering if i should look for alternates. Tried quite a few apps, some that are quite nice, but none does everything that SMBSync2 does. Like stated above, sync daily at a specific time, and choose specific folders. Most apps allow me to choose internal storage as the base folder, or create separate tasks for each folder that I want to backup.
TLDR; Is it still ok to use SMBSync2, or are there other programs that does everything SMBSync2 does? Any idea why it's gone off the play store and not updated in years?
Just that. Thanks.
Files from the mx player's private folder vanish out of nowhere and I didn't accidentally delete those files I clearly remember. Is there anyway to retrieve or its gone for good and I have to download those files again?

Hi, this is the situation: some months ago my mother broke her phone’s screen and didn’t get it repaired at the time, so I lend her an iPhone. Since the Android phone was totally unusable I couldn’t transfer all her WhatsApp chats from Android to iOS, so she had to start the chat history from zero.
Recently she got the Android’s screen fixed, so my question is: what would happen if now I transfer her WhatsApp chat history from iOS to Android? Will it mix both backups, the original one which has always been on the Android storage/Google Drive right before the screen accident PLUS the newest one from iOS, or will it only restore the iOS backup and the Android’s one will be gone? I’d like to confirm before proceeding, because if it’s the second case then she prefers to keep the original Android’s backup and lose the one from iOS, so I wouldn’t use the backup transfer option, just restore the old history from Google Drive.
Just dropped a new update for RISE that makes tracking your gains even better.

Hello everyone, I want to write a story but I don't know of any apps to use. I've been using "Notes" on my android, but this is a bit difficult if you need to write down ideas in the same place as the story.
New to Reddit & First Post. I'm having trouble w/ the Google Voice Typing in Gboard above the p letter thing, I think it's pretty good speech-to-text feature overall but I find it lacking & inaccurate + slow sometimes. I hope someone can request me a better speech-to-text software like Google Voice Typing in Gboard but possibly better + support multiple languages like English, Indonesia or Chinese, don't mind paid/premium. I know about otter.ai but idk if it actually works like how I want with Google Voice Typing, idk if FUTO Voice is as good/better than Google Voice Typing. That's it, please shoot me ur recommendations 🙏.
I used to love the Skitchapp . But unfortunately it was decided to discontinue by evernote. Can someone recommend a good alternative ?

Can anyone advise if there are any recorder apps that could do this or how to accomplish with any audio recorder?
I have been using this calculator app for many years and accidentally deleted it last night from my Galaxy S22.
It's the only calculator app I like - now, it doesn't seem to be in the app store.
Can anyone advise me how to find it and re-install it on my phone?
Thanks
Do you guys know which app have mapping keyboard to use for physical key board like ld, memu.
About month ago, I developed an app, and I uploaded it to google play console, after some internal testing, I think it's ready for closed testing and then public testing. It's the first time I develop Android app, I am an iOS develop, I thought it should be similar to the iOS work flow. But I was wrong.
I create a google group for the testing, and people who want to join the test must join the gmail group.
After join the group, users must click a link like this: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.iamadman.love2dgamemaker
when they (already joined the group) open the link(webview in reddit or external web browser), they can jump to the google play store app(or just in the web browser), they should see an "Install" button to install the app.
But I received some feedback that they saw a paid app, not the "Install" button.
Anyone can help me to find out what is wrong?
I guess the google play store account is different with the gmail account they used to join the test group?
I'm trying to find Edge Panel/Side Bar like apps that launches app into floating window if any are available. Thank you in advance guys
On my old phone, I installed an app that had widgets you could add to your home screen to see the volume levels for alarm, video, etc. These were actual widgets (1x1) which showed the current settings, not shortcuts to the android volume controls. Unfortunately, that app (Slider Widget - Volumes) doesn't work on more recent Android versions (I'm currently running Android 15 on a Pixel 8 Pro). Here's a link to see what it looked like:
https://apkpure.net/slider-widget-volumes/de.hinterhofapps.sliderwidget
How feasible is it for someone with limited programming experience to create one or more 1x1 widgets to recreate what the Slider Widget - Volumes app did?
Or other efficient way of sorting and cleaning out thousands of photos
I’m using the app Vellum for ios. But searching one for my future Android device which provides me a new wallpaper every day. There is an app called Vellum Wallpapers for Android, but not the same creator.
I know there are plenty where you have a section with newest wallpapers. But i want just one every day haha, so that I just can say “ok new wallpaper time” or “nope try again tomorrow” and not scroll endlessly tru newest wallpapers section.
Hello - I've used the Fleksy keyboard app for years now. I love almost everything about it and its been the perfect keyboard for me. However, one issue it really struggles with is some text boxes (such as in a search engine) it seems to lose its ability to undo autocorrect with its swipe up gesture, and I'll spend 20 seconds retyping and trying to get it to go through its list of autocorrects until it doesn't autocorrect. The last couple years its gotten insane and I'm (sadly) ready to move on.
I've looked through half a dozen so keyboards and i like some of them, but they all seem to be missing the swipe-right-for-space I've come to love about Fleksy.
Can anyone recommend a keyboard with:
(or similar gestures, as I think I'll have to cave a little)
Thanks!
