What happened to Kohl’s and Whole Foods as return options? When did they start making customers pay for shipping on returns?
So I placed an order for some computer parts in January and recently needed to contact customer service for one of the parts only to discover the order has been hidden from my order history and flagged as unauthorized. I have no emails saying this happened or why it happened. Has this happened for anyone else? I currently have a support ticket in and am waiting for it to be escalated.
I returned about 7 items the other day together and mistakingly thought that 4 of them were under the same return QR code. I didn’t get a refund on only 3 of my items and I realized I messed up because they each had their own QR codes that I didn’t get scanned. So they have been sent back, but it’s showing on my account as if the return hasn’t been processed. Has anyone experienced this and know how I should go about this? Is a refund promising at this point?
There are certain products that they say are free shipping but every single time I try to order them, they add a delivery fee if I actually want them delivered. For the "free" delivery option they claim there's no delivery date available after purchase. I've tried selecting the free delivery option and waiting, but they will NEVER ship that item. The longest I've waited so far is 6 weeks. In my order it just says "order received. We'll email you when we have an estimated delivery date." But they won't ever ship it! These are NOT subscribe and save items, they are regular full price items. Magically, though, they do have an immediate shipping date available if you just pay an extra shipping fee. Free shipping option? It'll never ship. Pay extra shipping fee? We'll get it to you pronto!
They are falsely advertising free shipping, but refuse to actually ship it unless you pay the extra $6.99 shipping fee. Isn't this illegal? Is there a maximum amount of days they have to ship orders? Will they keep that order indefinitely and just refuse to ship it? Isn't this bait and switch? On the item listing itself it shows the free shipping WITH a specific shipping date, but if you actually purchase it with the free shipping, it will change to "no delivery date available." They will only deliver it if you pay extra shipping. Yes these are items sold and shipped by Amazon, not 3rd party. How is this legal? What can be done to force them to honor their advertised free shipping date? Also I have screenshots but there's no option to upload them.
I have no dog. My neighbors have no outside dogs. I was sitting outside the entire delivery window because I really needed that package. There was no dog. In fact, There was no delivery truck or any vehicle in my little cul de sac.
I just got an amazon notification that there was an unsuccessful delivery attempt. First they told me they couldn’t find a secure location to leave my package and had me fill out a survey. When i pushed the customer service rep, they then said there was a dog hazard. I could literally show you my various outside cameras that there was no dog around.
wtf is this
I'm going to start this post by saying that I got off of the phone with Amazon customer service about an hour ago, and I can't say I feel anything but annoyed and disappointed.
So the story starts on November 2nd, when I decided to finally commit to rebuilding a new PC (long story short, old one got stolen and I was putting off getting a new one with low finances) and made sure to get all of the necessary parts through Amazon, making sure that it would arrive by November 4th and that nothing would be coming out of the country, as to not further delay the package. When I was done, I made sure to request that a one-time password was required so I could tell it to the delivery driver when my package arrived.
So I waited until the 4th, and I was hype focused on making sure I didn't miss the several packages, which I assumed would all be coming at once. So around 4 PM, I hear a loud THUNK outside and after 5 minutes, I checked and low and behold, some of the packages I ordered were just left outside the front door. I was confused why they ignored my request for a password to be used, but I later figured out that's because I only did that for parts of the order and not the entire thing (not sure how that can even happen but I'm just going to say that one's on me for not being careful with my wording when ordering.) Once I brought the big packages inside (which consisted of the monitor, power supply, and PC case,) I realized that this wasn't even the full order, and at this point I got worried. I checked the website to see where my order was, and I couldn't help but notice that the order was "one stop away" yet was going the opposite direction of my house. I didn't look good, but I was sure it would later that day after a weird detour.
So a few hours go by, and at this point I never saw any packages, and the driver was in a different city, so I decided to call customer service. They informed me that my package would be arriving the next day, which was kind of annoying, but it was only a day delay, so it couldn't be that bad... right?
So I was continuing to check the package that night, and to my horror, the package delivery date updated; but it wasn't for the next day. It was for November 9th (today.) Now I was pissed off, and the next morning I called customer support again, and the man I talked to said that I shouldn't worry and that the package was "out for delivery," and that it should arrive in the next few days at any point, and that I should ask for a refund if it didn't come by November 9th. Even on the 5th I was pretty skeptical, but I decided to just wait it out. The worst part was that I couldn't even track the package anymore, it was just stuck in a purgatory of "out for delivery."
So the next few days go by, and to absolutely no one's surprise, the package never came. I eventually got over my anger about this situation and was hopeful that the 9th would just come and I would be completely relieved. On the 9th, I was still checking the website, and it never changed in any way, so I decided to call CS AGAIN. This time, the lady told me that I needed to go through a new process that required me to send in a picture of my photo ID so they can "investigate" the issue in "3 business days." At this point I'm completely dumbfounded. I honestly think the delivery driver just forgot over half my order, never realized it, and now the company wants me to suffer for as long as possible before I can get a refund or just my damn packages at this point. I do not understand how hard it is to just bring the packages I PAID FOR within a reasonable time, and how this multi-billion company is failing to this degree.
I'm at a lost of words for what to do at this point. At the end of the day, I just want what I ordered, and any other corporation could have delivered me the parts in a reasonable time. Do I just have to... wait even longer while they "investigate" their own f*ck-up? I don't want this post to become swearing and vitriol, so I'm just going to stop here by asking for any help or numbers to call to help me along this process.
Just wanted to warn the general public how Amazon is now truly fake selling on their prime days to inflate their profits. This is the second time they’ve done this both on substantially high priced products. This one was a Coffee machine that was $300 less than the usual price, it was purchased on the last day of the sale, October 9th. Shipping date set for 3 days later. Fast forward to today and 2 calls to Amazon the dates changed to Nov 6th then changed to December 20th 😳 here is why it was a scam all along (fyi they hold the funds in limbo on your cc) they never intended to ship this item ever. The exact same machine was available a week later $300 more and shipping it next day. When I called all Amazon would say is sorry we can only say it will be shipped when it’s available, even though it is available right now if I pay $300 more. I will not be buying during prime days again and am seriously going to start looking local more often.
the charge is only 1.6dollar and the only thing ive done was try to activate prime gaming but its not available in my region so it fails and amazon visa but it failed too. Im on the prime free trial with 11 days left and already cancelled it. so what is this charge?

I have emailed Jeff about this issue since no one can help!
I just need a photo.
I have spent days and days and many hours on chat and emails.
speaking to more supervisors than I can remember, posting threads etc..
Here is the gist of what is going on:
1. I am trying to get a delivery photo from a week old order that was stolen because amazon drivers keep failing to read my delivery instructions and instead delivering to the wrong floor/doors.
2. The delivery photo showed clearly it being delivered to the wrong door with the wrong apartment letter on it.
3. The delivery photo has since disappeared! It no longer shows on the order details page where it once was! (I have confirmed this on both PC and phone app while logged in.)
5. A supervisor from grocery (it was a whole foods order btw) told me that he sees the photo, it still exists, but hes unable to email me the photo and I -should- be able to see the photo in my account.
6. Ive spoken to probably 30 people! I just need the photo which I have confirmed still exists!
What should I do?
Hello I was just curious if there’s any way I can find out or what to do when one of my friends im no longer talking to used my prime to create a business account for themselves. I preferably would like their account not to use my prime if possible. Im just more curious as to what i can do
Bought a backup battery headset for a Quest 2. Today I noticed the charge light wasn't working, but if i plug in a normal USB charger the headset charges fine. It's in my 30 day window so I do a defective item return....It's telling me I only have 3 days to return it before it's charged again...on a saturday..
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S24+ that I thought was shipped and sold by Amazon. Now I'm looking at my invoice and it says sold by Amazon.com Services Inc. and supplied by Other. It does say the condition is new. I received the phone but have not opened it yet. I'm worried it may be from some other seller and not officially Amazon. If that's the case, I'd rather return it and just buy it from Best Buy. Anyone have experience with this type of situation?
Amazon, the biggest retailer in the world, can't figure out how to take my money when I order something.
They can either do whatever it takes for my bank to consider it a "safe transaction", or they can charge me after I've opened my account for all internet purchases for 60 min.
This is, as I understand it, an EU-wide regulation. Imagine how dropped on the head management and technical staff have to be in order not to figure this out.
They also make me click through a maze of bullshit to actually get to customer service so I can do their job for them, and it's a different maze on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. Meteors desperately needed to rectify this.
I have lost 3 to 4 parcels this year as the delivery driver leaves them at the front door. The front door is visible to a footpath that is the main thoroughfare to the city centre.
Delivery instructions say to leave in garage, which is through a side gate and visible from the front door but not foot path. Even when I am home the delivery driver knocks and leaves on the doorstep.
Amazon have refunded the parcels previously, but they have asked me to wait 4 days before speaking to customer service. They think the parcel will turn up?
I'm trying to buy a specific type of leave-in conditioner that helps with my frizzy hair. I live in California. I can't ship it to my address, but it can be shipped fine to a family member's house that's still within California and only 2 hours away. Like I'd get if it's banned for any address within the state, because then it's obviously some state law in effect, but it CAN be shipped to California?
I had a question if you receive an item that's supposed to be guaranteed by a certain date and it doesn't arrive and it's shipped by Amazon you are able to receive a $5 credit. My question is if you do that and then decide to either cancel or return the item because it was not working or you decided you didn't want it or defective or something like that, well Amazon then take away the $5 credit for your next order because of you returning or canceling that item you initially got the $5 credit on for being late?
Since it’s usually the exact same products in every sale Amazon have, does anyone know if Skechers go on sale? My daughter wants a pair, and I don’t want to buy now if I could save a few € in a couple of weeks
For context, the most recent thing it says on the UPS tracking is that it was damaged and that it’s being returned to seller. The seller for the Dawn Powerwash is Amazon and the other is a third party seller. It doesn’t say anything about a refund yet but their Help page does say that typically items damaged in shipping get refunds. However, this is the message under my order. I was wondering if anyone could give me guidance on that since Customer Service seems super hard to contact right now.
I need to use the credit to purchase a bestbuy gift card but I'm not sure if it's gonna use the promotional balance or not
A few weeks ago I ordered something on a Friday that said it would be delivered on the Monday. It didn't arrive until the following Friday. I thought I was mistaken or there was some problem. This happened again, when I specifically ordered a slightly more expensive item, when the delivery would be sooner. It wasn't that much more, so I didn't really think that much about it Now I've just ordered something on Friday again, should have been delivered on Monday. Nothing. It's now Friday and I've only just got the email saying it's been shipped. I looked at the item again, and it is still saying it can be delivered in 2 days. Are they just putting fake delivery dates now?!
I want to share a frustrating experience I’ve recently had with Amazon. I ordered a product that arrived damaged, and while Amazon initially seemed responsive by sending two replacement orders, both were delayed. To add to the frustration, I have another order that was supposed to be delivered on November 2nd, but it has still not arrived.
I rely on timely deliveries, and these delays have been quite disappointing. Has anyone else faced similar issues recently?
Sorry if this has been asked a million times. I also tried contacting Amazon but kept getting passed around for 45 mins with no answer.
Currently my prime shipping takes 5+ days, yet the same items to my parents house 2 minutes away will be next day. I just don’t see the point in paying for prime when the only benefit to me was 1-2 day delivery to my door step. Currently with no prime everything would only take one extra day for shipping and thats not worth the $100yr price tag to me. Now my question, if i cancel my prime will it affect my amazon kids subscription? I also have a firestick and ring security if it matters too. And my prime subscription renewed last month, would i get refunded if i cancel now? Or will i have to wait out the remainder of the subscription? Thanks
A week ago, I tried buying replacement toothbrush heads for my electric toothbrush on Amazon. I ordered them from Philips, but all three times, the packages were returned to Amazon due to "damage in transit." I reached out to customer service to check if there was an issue with my account, and they said everything looked fine. I placed another order yesterday, but the same thing happened again—the local delivery courier marked it as received and on its way to my apartment, but later, the tracking showed it was on its way back to the merchant. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm not sure If I accidentally ordered 2 of the same item or its something on Amazon's part but does this actually mean there's 2 of the same thing?
Amazon delivered my package to some other address so I contacted chat and they sent me a replacement "free of charge" they said. Fast forward a month later and I get charged for the replacement. I contact customer service again and am told I'll get a refund. Month later and the charge doesnt disappear so I contact them again and told Ill get a refund again. Seemed like agent lied just to get me to go away. This time they gave me a number. Is it even worth calling or will getting this refund put me on some black list? Is it even worth it at this point. They also initiated a return request for the original delivery like where tf am I supposed to even get that. What utter bullshit.
Is there any way around this?
i order from amazon regularly, have the credit card and prime. however, someone keeps buying subscriptions through my prime!! MULTIPLE TIMES NOW even though i change passwords, cancelled and received a new amazon credit card, and cleared all devices. they keep purchasing paramount and hbo, and sometimes weird ones like Gaia? What’s tricky is that since they are subscriptions, i don’t notice until i look at my credit card bill since they don’t show up under “amazon orders”
Any advice on how to resolve? anyone else expediting this?
learning my lesson the hard way the past month. ordered airpods pro 2nd gen a month ago and they hurt to use so I wanted to return them and I've had no luck for a full month. since the airpods have lithium battery in them UPS needs to come pick them up and no one has showed up once in the past month and there has been no label dropped in my mail. I can't even drop it off manually at an UPS store, this experience has been so frustrating and I don't know what to do. my $200 have been held hostage.
