About 2 weeks ago Amazon switched from UPS deliveries to the new Amazon delivery service in Hot Springs Arkansas area! We live in the boonies about an hour from Hot Springs! We received 3 deliveries from Amazon the first four days of the new service! Starting the sunday before Thanksgiving, our deliveries completly stopped! we have had orders lost, canceled, delayed and refunds. We have had we've been lied too, and told that one package was delivered to a secure location which we have yet to find! If we call help we can't understand anything they say, must be long distance call!!! Where Can I Go For Help? Anyone???
bought a portable charger from anker on amazon, but found a better one for cheaper from anker on amazon. am i able to refund it by sending the parcel back in the orgiginal packaging which i still have?
That is all
Take a video with your phone of you opening it up in case the wrong item is sent, or it's damaged or used or something in it is missing.
The charge for an order or item always posted when the item shipped. I have 3 pending orders that were all charged, but still haven’t shipped. Is this the norm now?
Hey guys. I'm from India and I've been buying a bunch of books from Amazon for months now at this point but a book I really want to read that hasn't been released yet is available for pre-order on both the American and Indian Amazon sites. It's ten dollars cheaper and will arive three days earlier if I order on the American site. But I have never used it before so I don't know if it is safe or not and if the date of delivery is accurate. I'm assuming that the Indian listing will pre-order the book from the American site and basically take care of the smaller details. Which one should I go for?
You used to be able to return multiple items on the same return label, even if the items weren’t in the same order.
Now it’s not even an option. What happened?
Ordered 6 items and only 5 were in there. Had headphones missing that were about $200 on sale. The packaging on my items was not closed. Just an open bag without the seal/tape removed.
Amazon is making me go file a police report despite it being delivered in that state. I may have grabbed it 5 minutes after drop off.
Anyone have any experience with this? I feel as if the driver didn’t close the package and took the headphones.
It's been a month now, I tried to dispute it before but they said I had to wait for them to charge me again
Finally, it's back on my Credit card, I almost missed it because it's a penny less than an order I had just placed. The way they split up the charges sometimes it's hard to tell if they are charging you twice for some things.
I had all the proof but there is no way to do chat support or email support to send it so I had to do it by phone,. supposedly it's solved.
I had all my proof. I have my UPS store receipt saying I returned something for 2.4 pounds which is the portable monitor they claim I didn't return. I took screenshots and it says 1.7 pounds but that does not include the original box it came in and cables. I took screenshots of both items' description for proof.
What they claim I did return which I still have is a travel hair dryer that weights 14 ounces. I took a GPS timestamp picture if they needed proof.
I asked if he wanted me to send him my proof via email but he said no.
Next time I ever drop off something at UPS store (not that it's their fault) I will take a picture and make sure they weight the item.
Why do I have to wait on hold for 10 more minutes when I ask for email confirmation?
No thanks, after a few minutes I hung up, he called me back and said a few minutes
I said no just send it and hung up
Too bad because he had settled my issue
but you can never trust Amazon not to try to steal from you again.
Now I'm getting a week delivery time. Is it because of strikes?
It says “order delayed not yet shipped” but you can also see a TBA tracking number .. my credit card has been authorized … what is going on? I can order it again and it’ll still come next day but it won’t let me cancel this one. Is this stuck in warehouse lost?
We always renew my MIL's prime every year at Christmas. Since they killed that option, can you buy $150 worth of gift cards so someone else can redeem them for prime? It sounds like at one time the answer was "no" and I can't find a definitive answer on Amazon.
Is someone willing to share the code for Dredge (videogame) on GOG? If you aren't a gamer and aren't planing using the code and are willing to share I would be very grateful. Thanks :)
UPDATE: THANKS to user: Unusual_Ad2956 he sent me the code! Didnt expect to get it and got it really fast, i think post was up no more than 10 min :) Gotta love Reddit
So when the Amazon delivery driver doesn’t leave the package at my location is my fault?! Am I banned or?
My wife and I hosted our baby shower three days ago, and received several gift cards for Amazon totaling ~$1,000. Since yesterday was Cyber Monday, we utilized the deals to buy remaining unpurchased items from the registry on Amazon (as well as a desk and monitor that were on sale for me). We have a trial for Prime because I’m a dental student. This morning we received this email regarding our order, but it doesn’t mention an order number. I thought this was a scam email, but after checking our account, the order was canceled and all $1,000 was NOT refunded. A few items stayed on the order because we used a debit card for what went over the gift card allotment. How can they just cancel the order and not refund any money from the account?? Any help is awesome, thanks!!
Hi I’m from England and so I’ve noticed that Amazon prime is not offering next day shipping unless you spend £20. What’s the point of prime? Is it because of Christmas period? Or have they changed shipping overall? Quite annoyed. Loved Amazon prime because everything would come next day
... instead of just handing it to them (like my previous returns)?
I had completed all the eligibility steps to redeem my baby registry welcome gift, but the promo code wouldn’t work because the only gift item being offered wasn’t sold by Amazon.
I called customer support and explained the issue. After a few minutes on hold, the representative told me that they would credit $25 to my account towards my next purchase.
I had been a little disappointed because I probably wouldn’t have used the gift they were offering me anyway, but figured I’d just take what I could get. Now, I can use my account credit towards whatever I want! Definitely a win for me and left me pretty impressed with their service.
It’s too early to call anyone I know and share my win, so thought I’d share it here lol.
I have about 20 items in my "Save for Later" list. I knew what the prices were before BF and CM. About 15 of them were basically the same before, during and after even though they were listed on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Was also able to verify this with CamelCamelCamel. It should be illegal to list them discounted, when they actually arent.
Same thing happened on PrimeDay. Was watching a beverage mini fridge. Price dropped on PrimeDay and was listed as a Prime day special. A week later that same fridge was listed as the normal price which it was listed for on Prime Day.
Bought an expensive ac unit for my garage, came in much earlier then expected but a few days later I looked and the price was just over $100 less so I contacted Amazon
First rep said the delivery has not happened yet, explained yes it has, I am looking at the large packages now and if you track the FedEx outside of Amazon it shows the actual delivery date
She just kept talking in circles about how they can't do anything until it's delivered, asked for a supervisor
Few minutes later on with the supervisor who finally understood I already had the package but since it was sold by a third party they have to issue any price matches. Said I could return and rebuy but there was a $90+ return shipping even though it was prime free shipping originally and honestly these boxes are very large and heavy so don't even know if I could get them in the car myself to bring back.
She said that she will contact seller for me and assured me that this would be resolved to my satisfaction within 48 hours. Just as a safety though I took screenshots of the item at the lower price including one where I added it to my cart to show total price with tax and free shipping.
24 hours later I get a response from seller, item is now showing as $160 more then I paid so no price match available. Immediately responded with screen shots showing price at time issue was opened. No response.
Next day (less then 48 hours from opening issue) get a response directly from Amazon rep, $104 credit has been issued from her to resolve issue. Next day it showed on my credit card.
Amazon finally did something correctly!
Tldr-bought an expensive item, went on sale, seller didn't do anything, Amazon came through with credit and made it right.
Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this, I couldn't find any other sub that seemed more relevant. I just noticed that a Bottega Veneta wallet is on sale for ~$400, while it retails for $650 in Bottega stores. The item is sold and shipped by Amazon Japan (not a third party).
I know Amazon has been hit by a wave of fake products in the past couple of years because of comingling inventory, but I can't find any third party sellers selling the same SKU, so I'd assume the risk of comingling is low (or maybe I'm wrong?). What's throwing me off is the cost, though - almost 40% cheaper than retail seems too good to be true, but it's sold and shipped by Amazon Japan, so I'm confused.
What do you reckon are the chances of it being fake?
Hey guys, I made an international order and it's my first one so amazon ended up emailing me saying they cancelled my order and that I should verify my identity using a link (don't worry it's really amazon) so I went through the verification process and got an email a few minutes later saying that they checked everything is good and that "You can now place a new order for the items previously canceled."
The problem is that they never actually went through and cancelled my order and it still shows as normal...
Should I cancel my order myself or just let it go ahead and ship normally even though I guess from their pov internally they cancelled it?
I'd rather not cancel because I would lose the Black Monday deal I got on the product. Bow the price has gone up again.
PS : they still haven't charged my card
