When you have something more specific, more OTP, post it here. Here's our wiki

We are a community subreddit not to be used for free advertising. Please and thank you.
It is understood that someone might want to warn others against a business, inform others about an event that occurred, etc. Regardless of whether a post is true or not, they must substantiate their claims (if any).
The qualifications for inflammatory can be determined on a case by case basis, and as directed by you folks. We're a community moderated subreddit. If you guys think something is inflammatory, report it or shoot the mods a DM. We'll figure out whether it's malicious, disrespectful, or just plain trolling - or better, whether you guys perceive it as such - and we'll handle it to the best of our abilities.
Keep in mind that we are a "community moderated" subreddit, so reports and downvotes will be taken into heavy consideration when deciding whether a post should be removed, whether it's on the grounds of the rules or not.

Hi y'all! My family will be moving to the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area for my new job this coming summer. We have an infant who will be around 7 months at the time of our move. Do you guys have any good recommendations for pediatricians and daycare?
We have a couple of family friends out there but their kids are well-past the daycare stage.
Please and thank you!
Hi guys, Im (27M) moved from Boston to Bell Alpharetta this month. I’m looking for people to hit the tennis court either in Bell Alpharetta or nearby. I’d say I’m a 3.0 or 3.5 but I don’t mind playing with people on higher or lower scale. If you’re interested, please hit me up!
Note: We are now opening to Georgia! Louisiana has also joined us. We want to make a bigger connection in the south! Read our statement below for our origin and broader aim! This applies to the WHOLE South, including Georgia as of today!
Hello! I want to invite everyone to a grassroots, Mississippian led, discord server where we are all trying to foster community. These are rough and bleak times and we aim to form a connection and spread that Southern hospitality like we were raised to do!
We accept everyone regardless of political affiliation. (Unless you are a fascist/nazi.)
We want to work to educate and empower Mississippians within their own communities and learn how to use their environments to their advantage while also providing our services to the community.
We are a POC, queer, disabled led movement. By the people, for the people. Hope to have y’all join us, hun!
I was recently involved in a relatively minor rear end collision. I am looking for recommendations for an honest mechanic to get a quote for my insurance.
Moving to the area and will be looking at Lifetime fitness. Is there a difference between the Alpharetta and John's Creek locations? Generally like to go from 8 - 11am everyday after I take my kid to school. Mostly lift weights but also like to play pickelball and steam. Thanks for any insight.
I know the reviews are really poor so it's possible I just end up at a crossfit gym.
Looks like the Southern Consignments building is being redone...what kind of market is moving in? What do they sell? When are they opening?
Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knew of any trails/hills, mountains, libraries or just locations in general that I could go to and see the city from high up. When I was living in Canton, I remember going to Kennesaw Mountain often and being able to see the beauty of the city from high up. I also used to go to Stone Mountain and be able to see a lot of Georgia from up there. It doesn’t have to be a trail or a mountain or a hill. It doesn’t even have to be outdoors. It could also be something like a library or a restaurant or another type of location. But I was wondering if there are places I can drive or walk or go to where I can see the sky and the beautiful views of the city from high up.
Who are we trying to kid? BTW there are still about 50 along Haynes Bridge that they have missed. Instead of reporting potholes, city ordinance violations and faulty stoplights we should report trees still standing to help developers become more efficient in cutting them down.
Hey everyone, is anyone looking for a 1 bedroom apartment in the Alpharetta area? I recently moved out due to a job relocation and am still being charged rent, so I’m hoping to find someone to take over my lease. This is a great community, and I just can’t cover two rent payments.
Important: This is not a sublease—you’ll be going through the regular leasing process with the management company.
Details: • Rent: ~$1,600/month with minimal additional fees • Location: AMLI North Point (Right by North Point Mall & Shopping Plaza) • Availability: Ready for move-in around February 10th
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, feel free to DM me!
Folks - I need to buy 10 Hydrangea plants to replace existing plant in my front yard. What is the best place to buy those ?
Since I'm buying a large quantity I want to make sure they are best quality & the same colors.
I do understand that the acidity level dictates the colors, but I hope to keep the color with the required fertilizer..
Would highly appreciate any pointers as well, since this is the first time we are planting Hydrangeas in our yard.
The plants will be east & south facing, hence decent sunshine.
I think spring would be a good time to plant them so they can root properly for the winter.
My husband and I recently moved to the area for a new job and have the hardest time finding a house in the Alpharetta/ Johns Creek area. Everything we’ve seen is either wayyy too old in a nice neighborhood or a new construction in a neighborhood with older homes. Hoping it’s just because inventory is low during January. Can someone give me insight into if it’s been like this for a while? Trying to not lose out hope!

I’m looking to get into blacksmithing and was wondering if there are any classes, clubs, or forges near Alpharetta. If anyone has recommendations I’d appreciate it!
I'm tired of getting screwed by mainstream mechanics. Anyone know of a good local mechanic that I can get an oil leak taken a look at without breaking the bank?
Hi, I am looking for a place that hosts trivia nights that doesn't have a too intense bar atmosphere. For reference, I used to go to Verra Zanno years ago for their trivia but they have since closed down for now.
Figure it’s a long shot, but we’re looking for some warehouse space and wanted to see if someone here might be able to help.
We are looking to store automotive parts, and possibly fulfill orders out of the location. Nothing larger than a standard pallet. The business would not be registered to the address and we would be happy to ship from another location if you would prefer not having anything attached to your address.
Thank you in advance!
We've adopted a rescue and are gathering supplies while he heals from surgery. We had a family pet for 15 years, but once she passed, out kids cleaned took all the supplies for their own pets. It's amazing to realize how much you acquired when you have to reassemble it all in an online shopping cart (especially when you know from experience what is durable/useful and therefore expensive).
When you have a baby, there are all kinds of consignment shops to help you stock, but I'm not aware of a similar concept for new pet parents. I'd rather not meet up with strangers on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. Are there any shops like that in Atlanta?
I am a 42m who is currently dealing with an ex wife that lives in Colorado Springs CO. She has our 15m out there but has moved and enrolled him in school in West Virginia, living with his grandfather. I am at a loss! She does whatever, whenever! Just need help in locating any family law help that is compassionate, somewhat local, possibly knows multi-state issues, doesn't just cater to the Jones's, and is reliable. Been working hard forever. Never missed a payment since we divorced when he was 4. Visits every year....??? I just don't know what's going on? I know that I have a solid case..she can be held In contempt for multiple reasons. I just need some help in the right direction, some info. That maybe the right people may have? Thank you very much Dave

Have seen this new club on social media academy bar ATL, looks like it’s pretty fun with some decent night life going on Friday Saturdays, wondering if anyone has experience there and how it was?
This may seem like an absurd question but is there anyone who owns a home with a backyard they don't really use and don't really care how it looks who'd be willing to lend it to someone looking to start gardening? I only have a patio so can't grow more than a few things here. Ideally looking to grow in ground as opposed to in containers.
I’ve got a couple toddlers and looking for ideas of local activities we can do together that don’t cost money. We love the local parks and checking out books from the library. What am I missing out on?
Same as title
