Hey I hope you guys are doing well and I'm moving to Alpharetta, GA soon! (This happens to be my first time using reddit which is kinda funny.) I was wondering if anyone has any advice or insights to meet people and make friends. I'm a very social person and I have a bunch of fitness-related hobbies like soccer, beach vb, basketball, ice skating, hiking etc. I've kinda been moving around alot my entire life so I'm used to meeting and making new friends. Currently, I'd be relocating from Ontario but I lived in Texas before that. I'm optimistic about this move and if anyone has any advice to meet likeminded progressive individuals who can also have fun, I'd love to hear it. I'd also love to hear about Alpharetta culture if anyone has suggestions for that.

Hello everyone, I have a 7000 square-foot house in Sandy Springs and I'm an entrepreneur business owner. I'm looking to share my house with other like-minded working professional millennials that are interested in fitness, artificial intelligence, technology, real estate, law, and marketing. Does anyone know the status of the traffic light at Maxwell Rd and Hwy 9. It would be lovely if they could make that operational. I know its GDOT and not Alpharetta's problem, but with the new traffic pattern, I find the intersection unsafe without that light being functional yet.

I’m looking for a 1-bedroom, 1-bath rental in the Alpharetta area and hoping to move in by December 30th. My budget is between $1,100 and $1,400, and I’d love to be around the Windward Parkway area or anywhere nearby with easy access to a bus stop (since I’ll be without a car). Ideally, the place would have an in-unit washer and dryer, as well as air conditioning. I’m open to different types of units—whether it’s an apartment or part of a house, as long as it has a separate entrance.

I’m moving to Alpharetta soon for a new job and am seeking some guidance. I’ve never been to Georgia before, so I’m not sure where to stay. Ideally, I’d like to find a place close to Windward/Alderman Drive. I’m looking for apartment complexes with good access to public transportation.

I’d also appreciate suggestions for shopping centers, gyms, and the closest Catholic church. Any recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area would be greatly appreciated!
