Je viens de récemment emménager à Marseille et c'est bientôt l'anniversaire de ma meilleure amie. J'ai donc commencé à réfléchir au dîner et je me suis souvenue qu'elle m'avait parlé de Rodezio Brasil, qu'elle voulait tester mais que c'était cher. Je me suis dit que ce serait bien pour son anniversaire. Mais là, je vais sur TripAdvisor et c'est la catastrophe. La note n'est pas très bonne et les avis disent que le buffet est petit et que ce n'est pas vraiment à volonté. Donc je me tourne vers vous pour savoir si quelqu'un a déjà testé et qu'il me donne son avis s'il vous plaît. (Je ne bois pas d'alcool et je mange halal, donc ça me va qu'il n'y ait pas d'alcool mdr).

Avez-vous des recommandations pour un buffet ou un restaurant à la carte dans les 100 € pour 2 personnes (halal :)).

Et aussi, je cherche une pâtisserie pour des gâteaux individuels, genre la meilleure de Marseille.

I'll be in Marseille for 3 days for work, so probably I'll be busy during the day but not in the evening/night. What do you suggest to do/visit? What/where should I eat at dinner? Keep in mind that I'll (probably) be by myself, I won't have a car and I can't speak french

Anyone knows if there are any pick up games in Marseille? Like 5v5 (can be bigger as well) in a park or at a playground or something? Just moved here from Spain and I’d like to continue playing football. Any suggestions are welcome

The last time I was here was 11 years ago and I stayed at Vieux Port, and I partied a lot. Now, I am also staying at Vieux Port, but I realize I'm middle aged now and perhaps seeking something else out of my Marseille experience. I happened by the neighborhood of St. Nicholas, on the way to Notre Dame, and it seemed to me much more chill, while still being interesting. I think the fact that it was up high seemed a bit above the crowd.

Dans un peu plus d'un mois, je souhaite passer l'examen DALF-C1, le diplôme approfondi de langue française.

Je suis en France depuis 10 mois et je me débrouille plutôt bien, mais je fais encore des erreurs et je ne maîtrise toujours pas correctement certaines structures grammaticales.

Comme je n'ai pas appris le français pendant mon parcours scolaire, je n'ai pas produit beaucoup de textes jusqu'à présent - ce que je vais faire dans une manière plus régulière dans les semaines à venir.

Je suis à la recherche d'une personne habitant soit à Aix (j'y vis.), soit à Marseille,

1. qui se trouve dans la même phase de préparation pour cet examen - pour la production de textes, les discussions, la révision et des exercices de grammaire, la lecture de journaux en commun (je me suis abonnée à Le Monde depuis deux mois) et se motiver réciproquement.
2. qui soit intéressée par un tandem intensif avec plusieurs rencontres par semaine (ma langue maternelle est l'allemand, mais j'ai aussi travaillé et vécu dans des pays anglophones et je parle parfaitement anglais).
3. Je suis à la recherche d'une personne qui a une formation en FLE ou quelqu'un qui peut m'aider à me préparer à l'examen.

I read the wiki and I researched Peron, Chez Fonfon and Rhul, and they are only taking reservations for minimum 2 people right now. I have only one day left in Marseille and would love to try this dish. Are there any less formal restaurants who serve an authentic bouillabaisse where a solo traveler can come in without a reservation and just order it?

Next week I'm traveling to the Marseille area(I actually think I'll be closer to Aix-en-provence, it's my first time going to France), I wanted to get my nikon d5300 fixed before going there, but no shop here could get it fixed in time, so the idea is to take it with me and fix it there, basically the sd card slot is broken, so it needs to be changed. Is there any camera repair shop in the area?

Comment êtes vous informés des activités de votre ville / de votre région ? Les sites d'office du tourisme ne donne pas grand chose d'intéressant pour des jeunes comme nous (début vingtaine) et je ne sais pas quel compte insta/Facebook suivre pour être au courant des prochaines activités (j'habite vers Aix en Provence)

Pour vous donner des idées des dernières activités qu'on a fait : Salon du tatouage à Marseille, concert de reggae dans le Vaucluse, blind test dans un bar à Aix...

Que des trucs qui ont lieu à un instant T quoi, j'aimerai être informé de ça pour proposer des idées à mes amis

I'm looking for a place not too touristy (or crazy expensive) and although my French is not great it seems to be improving rapidly since arriving back here, so I could do a mom-and-pop type of place. My flight was kind of a sh!t-show a lot of running, so not looking to go too far from the Velodrome area tonight, but tomorrow I'll probably be able to expand my range a bit. Hello Marseille, I am looking for inspiration. I am going on a trip with my girlfriend at the end of May, and I want to plan an entire day and night for us to experience in Marseille. We are in our early 20s. I'm looking for restaurants and activities I could make an itinerary with. I would love things I can book ahead of time. Just for some more information, she likes finer, locally known restaurants. A boat tour with drinks would also be great, and any activities where we can experience sightseeing or bars that are unique and great for the younger crowd. I know I'm asking for a lot here with little to give, but I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks.

I already know of Copperbay and Carry Nation which we will visit, as well as the various craft beer bars/taprooms but was looking to see if locals know of any others that are top class?

Also any weird and wonderful food places, sandwich/panino bars?

Ca fait plusieurs fois que je viens a Marseille et que quand je monte dans le bus le conducteur me dit à chaque fois qu'il ne "peut pas " vendre de ticket de bus ou dit qu'il n'en vend pas . Pourquoi? Comment on fait pour prendre un ticket et prendre le bus en règles ? Dans n'importe quel autres ville je prend mon ticket au conducteur pourtant.
