I'm going to France in june and i was checking out the factory tour. I see there is 3 diferent locations but cant seem to find more info. Any advice on wich One to choose? Also, is it worth it for non big aviation enthusiasts? Like an average person (i'm going with My family)
With the a220 taking on longer routes that the a320 used to handle, how’s the “ride quality” comparing both? The a320 is a bigger and heavier aircraft but is it by much? Heavier planes experience lighter turbulence so would riding an a220 be bumpier or not by much because of minimal weight difference?
When did the a220s start going cross country?
A320Neo Windows
Hey guys what’s up, I have a question about the A320neo family, I know that airlines can order the a320neos with the black windscreen as an option. I swear I read an article a couple months back that this is now going to be standard on the neos going forward. Is this true? Or am I just being delusional? I personally love the black windscreens I think it makes the plane look so smart (deltas airbus a321’s look so good).
What are the best physics for a320 addons for flight sims? For any pilots, how close are the physics to real life?
Anyone knows about this?
I am prepping for my second interview with Airbus. This one is face to face, the first was a phone interview. What tips can you provide? What did your process look like when you were hired? Were you told that day, called later, brought back in? Anything helps. Thank you in advance.
Based on practical experience, it has been observed that closing the Variable Bleed Valves (VBV) and opening the Variable Stator Vanes (VSV) is not necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the water wash procedure. Therefore, it is allowed to exclude these requirements from the water wash procedure specified in the CF6-80E, Airbus A330 Aircraft Maintenance Manual. The EcoPower® system effectively cleans the engine core without the need for these steps.
Note: It is important to avoid disconnecting the anti-ice forward sensor hose during the procedure.
Hey, all! I'm looking for the most realistic airbus base that doesn't cost thousands. Does anyone know which base has the most realistic feel or can be modified for that? I'm getting the flightsimprojects sidestick. Thanks!
What is that “EEEEE” sound that the A320 makes? Kind of a dumb and pointless question but I’m just curious (you can hear it on this clip)

I have an interview tomorrow that will be in the form of a cast study Excel document to show off my skills as a supply chain analyst. I have no idea what to expect because my background has been with the government and their specific programs, not so much Excel. I have an MBA and know my way around Excel, but I'm rusty. Any pointers or ideas on what type of information I will be analyzing? I have never had an interview like this before and want to be as prepared as possible!
Is it worth it to only sit in pairs at the back of a A330-200 we are going to be on a 10 hour flight, but want to make sure I’m not making it horrible to deplane. The seats in pairs in the middle of the cabin are taken
We are flying on an airbus A321 with vietjet airlines. I’ve never seen a seating plan like this one though. Could someone please explain what the gap is for?
Does someone of you know the data of the elevators of the A320, or where to get them?
I was looking for surface area, Cl, Cd
Thanks
My friend who works as ground crew got mauled by a captain for connecting the ACU (air conditioning unit) without the APU being completely switched off. Captain said he could’ve damaged the PACKS doing this. Unfortunately he wasn’t aware of this because no one had advised him nor did he receive any training, the crew hadn’t said anything prior to this either.
I’m not typed in any Airbus family aircraft and couldn’t answer his question, but thought I’d come here to ask for my buddy if the captain was exaggerating a little too much.
According to Airbus this winglets will improve up to 4% of fuel burn , not much but could be useful for long term in service. Airbus is already have program to retrofit for older A320 family to add sharklet winglets on the wings, so could we see a same thing on A380?
