My first year academic advisor suggested Intro to Psychology because the professor also is doing a first-year seminar orientation. Do engineering majors usually take psychology? If not who should I do the seminar with? Also are there any classes I should take before Intro to engineering and Principles of Chemistry I if I've been out of school for 15 years?
In regards to Armstrong's recent announcement that on July 1st the college will be dropping "Atlantic" from the name, I'll be migrating this subreddit to the following:
/r/ArmstrongStateUni
This subreddit will remain open until 1 August, to better facilitate the transition.
Hello! I've been appointed the moderator of this subreddit by /u/lawwn for a little while now, and wanted to say hi.
I know there is only around 50 subscribers to this subreddit, but even so, I want to know what I can do to make this subreddit better. What would you like to see? I'm not really versed in programming languages, so major edits in the style or look of the page might take some help or time.
You'll notice I added a flair that should be available to all of you. Use it if you want. I was also thinking about a "Major" flair. What do you think?
Hello..
I'm transferring here from the US Army starting in the May term and wanted to introduce myself to the community (small as it is).
I'm underpressure221 and will be pursuing a theatre degree. I'm coming in as an academic sophomore thanks to "here and there" classes I've taken and shit I've gotten from the Army.
Anyway, are there any tips or anything you can offer a new student? Thanks for your time!
Just a heads up since it wasnt advertised too well. There is a magic show friday night in the savannh ball room (student union) at 8:00pm. Figured id share the news.
This may not be a big problem for everyone else which is why i am posting this, but when ever i go to buy my book a week or two out from the start of the semester i check the bookstore and look up my books in an attempt to get ahead of the game only to see that there are "no listings" for the course. I only discover which books they are using through emailing the teacher(s) in question or like this semester waiting until the first day of class and getting it on the syllabus.
So I'm moving to Savannah soon. I have been looking for a rental place somewhere near AASU. Any recommendations on where to go or avoid?
Anyone an IT major either WEB BSIT or otherwise willing to give some feedback on the programs? The wife is thinking of switching to this major and was wondering if she should stay at Armstrong or switch to a different school.
we need to eradicate all of these damn speed bumps. yfm?
I'm looking to pick up a little extra money, if anyone has any computer issues I'd be happy to help.
Get this thing up and running good.
Does anyone know if you need a parking permit to park at the Armstrong Center? I've been parking there on T/H all semester and haven't gotten a ticket. I wasn't sure since there are still businesses not affiliated with AASU in the shopping center.
Anyone know the official policy?
Come on, I can't be the only person at AASU who also reddits! SCAD has a page, let's prove we're just as nerdy as they are!
