A few weeks ago I got accepted invited to the Zapier Projects Beta and it seems cool, but I’m struggling to find some use cases for it. I can create some pretty sophisticated Zaps and I already use conditional IF statements pretty heavily in handful of automations.

Has anyone else already experimented with this feature or have idea on how it can really be taken advantage of at scale? How is it different than IF statements?

Hi - I’m new to Zapier. I’d like to use Zapier for automation but the apps/systems I’m interested in don’t have a Zapier connector e.g. Quicken’s simplifi app. What options do I have?

I've heard a lot that low-code platforms such as Zapier allow you to automate any aspect of your business. My question is how effective and advanced is this automation in the big picture? Especially since Zapier positions itself as an intuitive and straightforward platform. Automators, can you give some overview?

I have a first 'input' web page that takes an email address, and a zap that's configured to do a record lookup to salesforce from that submit, the first 'input' web page has a redirect to a second 'output' web page and a configured zap which returns correct lookup data which is supposed to populate a gravity form on the 'output' web page, but the returned data only appears in the 'entries' tab of the gravity 'output' web page but does not appear in the gravity form which remains blank. Anyone have an example of a zap populating gravity form, or an idea of how this can happen? Thanks in advance!

Having trouble getting zapier to fetch the most upvoted post from the last 24 hours.

Zapier reddit module only has the option to get todays "HOT" post but I want the "TOP"

I want to update my Google Spreadsheet containing a list of publishers by adding information from another spreadsheet with a new list of publishers.

My original spreadsheet has columns for the publisher's name and email address. The new spreadsheet only contains columns for the publisher's name and website.

I want to update the original spreadsheet by adding the website from the new spreadsheet, excluding any duplicates.

How can I use Zapier to do this?

So basically we have a form response being pulled into Zapier, and currently using SMTP it sends to staff.

Staff wants some action in between. Apparently receiving the form response by email is not enough, they want the email to be an attachment within the email. Not sure if that makes sense?

The email they receive with the form response, they want as an attachment to that email.

I know with the SMTP zap you can include an attachment, and I could retrieve “such” attachment from the middle step.

The middle step would be to convert the form response to pdf or an image.

Anyone else done this before?

I'm trying to use Zapier to trigger an email to be sent once a student completes 3 specific courses on Teachable. However, when I choose the "Course Completed" trigger and go to test it, the records pulled are for completed enrollments not courses. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Is it possible to extract email addresses from the body of emails in bulk, as one single task? (More specifically, emails that all share the same subject, or are all in the same folder.)

I am currently doing this one by one as the emails come in, so it's a new task every time an email comes in with the specific subject. But I'd prefer to just manually tell it to run once a week, and extract data from all emails with this particular subject. Is it possible to do that as one single task?

I'm tasked with setting up a small business phone system. They're going with Verizon's business plan, but Verizon doesn't offer group voicemail. It does offer voicemail to email, so I forward all voicemail to a single email.

Now I need to get the voicemail to all 3 employees. They are tech illiterate and the thought of downloading or learning a new app like Whatsapp or Slack is beyond them. So my first thought is text messaging.

The only problem is, every single SMS service on Zapier is absolutely terrible for what I'm trying to use it for. I need this Zap to send like 50 text messages a month max.

Twilio is making me buy phone numbers and jump through regulatory hoops for days like it's my full time job to set up their service. SMS by Zapier cuts off the message in ~140 characters because that's all a text fits. Random SMS apis like Plivo, TextMagic, Clicksend, etc all want to onboard me and set up my account like I'm going to be sending 100k texts a month. Using carrier email-to-sms might work, but the rate limit is just a bit too low for me to be comfortable using.

What is the fastest, easiest, cheapest, most reliable integration to get a basic text message to a couple pre-selected pre-verified people a couple times a day?

Alternatively, if you have an app that will accomplish this with a good free integration with Zapier, that might work too. But try to keep it simple to set up and use.

First of all, I am very sorry. I have a basic knowledge of coding, but I need help updating the Relation Property in an automation I created. I know any coder will probably say, "Just leave it to a professional then," but that's currently not an option. I would be really thankful for any input anyone of you could give me.

Here's a brief overview of my use-case:
I have two databases—DBfeedback and DBbugs. In DBfeedback, my colleagues post issues related to a third-party app, while in DBbugs, our project team posts bugs and features they are working on. I've added a Relation property to the DBs and a rollup property on both DBs to show the Title of the related DB item.

My specific use case is to create a card in DBbugs when a bug is posted in DBfeedback, and vice versa. I've set up Zaps to create a new db item in the other database when an item with a specific property is created, as well as to update property changes and statuses between the two DBs. Important to note here is that I use the rollup property to find the database item in the other DB for the update-Zaps - since the colleagues often change the title of a DB item shortly after the creation.

However, I'm facing an issue with updating the Relation property after creating a new item via the respective Zap. It seems that using the usual Zapier Notion Actions is not available to set the Relation property, but I found out that it's possible via an API call (see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=R7329C-RJ7w). Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary access rights in our Notion workspace to use the API directly.

My main question is whether it's possible to achieve the same result with the Notion API Request (Beta) action. If so, what does the code look like, and how could I find the Property ID that's probably needed for it?

As a separate question, I'm also wondering if there's an option to post a synced block in the newly created db item's page content via the API Request Action.

I appreciate any help or insights on this matter.

Hello! I'm trying to build a workflow for my product team where a bot in Slack asks the team which metrics they want to record for a new feature that we've released. I then want it to update the documentation for the feature in a Coda doc. I've got stuck though using "retrieve thread messages" in Slack. The Zapier bot messages the channel asking the PM to reply with the metric they want to record. "Retrieve thread messages" then obviously records both messages (the original and the reply) so I've used Formatter by Zapier to split the two messages using the comma. This seems to work well because I get this output (see first screenshot below) but then when I go into the Coda zap that follows this one, it doesn't offer me the option of separating these outputs for the Success Metric field in Coda (see second screenshot). Anyone have any ideas? Or is this something that's just not possible?

So we are a SaaS for eCommerce and I have been asked to create a Zap flow that:

1. Pulls Data from Signed Up (lead or user but not subscriber) users from Clerk.com
2. Pull Information From Stripe (mostly already subscribers) such as subscription type and payment information

3A) If not a subscriber then enrich contact and company from Clay a and the create contact on Hubspot CRM
3B) If a subscriber update contact and company on Hubspot

The goal is to have a complete enriched cleaned list of contacts and leads list on Hubspot from which we can then understand and measure conversions

Right now Icatched the Webhook from Clerk as a starting trigger > Split into two options
if client exists > Hubspot find contact > hubspot update contact > find company > update company (step not successful)
if client does not exist > retrieve new customer info from stripe >Enrich data from clay (step not successful) > Create Contact > create company

I would be very thankful if someone could guide me. :)))

Hey folks, just built my crm with php, and everywhere is mentioned that zapier makes it even worth it. Still, for me as a small business started 2 month ago it’s a pain. Is there any way to get this 20€/month plan discounted? Or at least hope that hlackrriday drops anything?

I have a Zapier table. When someone fills a form I want to check the zapier table and return Yes your data is found on our table (If we found the data), or No We don't have your data. The website is made on framer. 

Is this possible on Zapier?

I’ve seen people automate LinkedIn posts using tools like Make.com (formerly Integromat) and Zapier. While we’ve been able to post on personal profiles via the LinkedIn API, it’s been challenging to do the same for company pages. I’m looking for a way to automate posts on company pages without relying on tools that charge per operation.

Through some reverse engineering, I found that using a session cookie works, but it requires storing the cookie in an unencrypted format, which raises security concerns. I’d prefer a safer approach.

Has anyone managed to post to LinkedIn company pages securely using the API, without depending on Make.com/Zapier? Any insights on handling authentication and posting securely would be greatly appreciated!

I have been doing some research about the Zapier Service, I am very interested because of the TopDesk connection. Which is what I am looking for. However, one thing that is unclear for me if it is a trigger can also be a call, like you can get from a helpdesk? Because one channel we are setting up is Helpdesk Call system, and we want the integration in Top desk to report incidents.

I plan to run Facebook ads to generate leads for my wedding DJ business using the on-Facebook forms where the potential client will add their contact info.

I need help finding a CRM that works as follows:

In an ideal world, the Facebook ad would collect lead info, then Zapier would automatically create a lead in a CRM. When the lead is created in the CRM, it would automatically send a text message to the lead who just submitted their info, either done directly through the CRM itself or through another automation set up on Zapier.

I’m trying to streamline the lead generation process as much as possible since I can’t always text the lead within 5 minutes of getting their info. Contacting people quickly really is the best way to convert more leads, so I want to automate this process.

I’m open to a combination of services/softwares. The most important being:

1. I can automatically add Facebook leads to the CRM
2. I can automate texting the lead immediately after their submit their contact info.

I have already looked into DJ Intelligence, SMPL Events, and DJEP, but none of them integrate with Zapier. SMPL has all the functionality I want, aside from not integrating with Zapier.

If you have worked out this automation/workflow another way (using a different type of FB ad maybe?), I’d like to hear about it too! I’m looking for solutions here. Thank you!

It should say something like :

If New Ticket is created and Ops Team is any of ...

then create a new page in Notion.

hey guys, i just signed up for Zapier and i build a basic workflow which has 3 pieces:

1. QuickScrape (to scrape website content)
2. Answer AI (ask AI about the content to get an answer)
3. Gmail (to send the answer to an email)

For 1 and 2, Zapier asks me for API keys and some credentials

I later realiazed that I need to sign up an account with these 2 apps. QuickScrape is good. But I dont know how to sign up for Answer AI, I got to thr specific page of the app on Zapier, I clicked connect and it asked for API which is exactly what I am trying to get.
