Flight

I wanna say this here cause I don't have anyone else I can talk about this, but everytime life gets me down and believe me it does that very often than not, I always listen to Flight by Hans Zimmer and try to put myself in Clark's shoes. For a moment I do feel like I'm flying away from the world's nonsense. Hope others feel it too

Just one fix on snyderverse

Bruce Wayne’s introduction to Superman, was borne of trauma.

In essence Jack, Bruce’s staff member, who he cared enough about to race into the dust along trying to save his staff and countless others.

But why, when resolved, did we never get a scene of them talking that day over and their view points out across and a show of deep remorse and regret from Clarke?

Danny Phantom

If we weren't screwed, would you like to see Danny Phantom in the Snyderverse? Would he be stand alone or part of a team ? What rating ?

need help defending new issues i have with the trilogy

lately after rewatching man of steel and researching the DC universe more i found new issues i have with the trilogy, and i figured i ask snyder fans to, in a rational and calm way, defend these new issues:

  1. superman’s no kill rule ain’t just there like batman’s (and thus has wiggle room) but is specific and staunchly stated in various comics (“killing humans, even super humans, is against who i am” or something like that). also please dont state early comics as defenses as heroes back then were more cape equivalent of pulp heroes.

  2. the lack of creativity. man of steel and justice league were both about terraforming with a grey and bland villain/villain tech design.

  3. making every third act HUGE and long can tire some people out (i did by the time of the metropolis scene in man of steel).

  4. clark going from “krypton had its chance” (which is true, this krypton is corrupt and stupid intentionally) to practically waving its flag by the end of justice league by still wearing the black suit after the stepphenwolf fight despite it being to absorb sunlight.

  5. a lot of unintentionally hilarious moments and lines (“maybe”, “ON A FARM?!!” the bathtub scene, making a jar of pee scary, etc).

  6. a lot of stuff was done in other media and done better. a scary ticking time bomb lex (spacey lex), lex learning from a krypton AI (again, spacey lex), superman screaming after a big death (superman 1978), etc.

  7. a miller batman (who is elseworlds) being the canon dceu batman is…. a choice.

  8. the reason the nolan trilogy worked is because batman’s character was still true and recognizable while also doing a more real and dark world. the snyder trilogy is still debated over the changes.

  9. finally, snyder clearly wanted his own elseworlds style saga like lord of the rings and WB wanted a cinematic universe and snyder barely seemed to have contacted other screenwriters and directors besides jenkins and ayer (the wan thing seems dubious).

Rebel Moon Review/Reaction

Decided to dive into watching movies and making reaction/reviews with a movie my friend and myself heavily anticipated. Rebel Moon. As huge fans of Watchmen, 300 and SuckerPunch (not so much superhero fan my friend) I figured it'd be fun AND despite the reviews we went in optimistic AND had fun. Would love some thoughts/feedback on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EONRImHIhDs

Why Rebel Moon?

Listen, Rebel Moon is an enjoyable movie and I’m not here to hate on it. But Snyder has another universe, that being the Army of The Dead universe. A sequel was announced but no news since.

With Zack Snyder now being busy with his new cinematic universe, do you guys think we will get the continuation of Army of The Dead anytime soon? Like in the next 5-6 years.

Snyder for Vaughan’s Saga

I loved Rebel Moon and I’m really excited for Part 2, but it has me wishing that Zack had just adapted Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga comic. I felt A Child of Fire was closer to that than it was Star Wars. I see the similarities to the latter, but I think that if it was never billed or pitched as “Snyder’s Star Wars” then it would not be getting the hate it’s getting. That said, as we’ve seen from Watchmen, 300, Dawn of the Dead, etc…Zack is much better at adapting than he is at writing. Is anyone a fan of this comic and thinking something similar, or am I alone in this?
