I feel that,if you dont know sculpting a face in real world, how would you even know it on a virtual world with a mouse? the worst is i cant even draw !how am i able to deal with those insanly detailed wrinkle and furrow or so in a face already unconventional!
i know about maya, max, and i can even model a face from a scratch with a box but for me, sculpting is way more bothered than it,since it's even ridiculous that i have ever been told that sculpting is quite easy, even easier than modelling, WTF??!!!
Hey everyone,
i'm rather new to ZBrush and i want to add wooly fur to my character here, like on a reference i have. (Attaching my body mesh and the reference below)
I scattered spheres in Maya onto the surface but it isn't really what i am after, also i would have to dynamesh this in ZBrush to get the body of my character with the fur as a single mesh (or just the fur as a single mesh).
How can i scatter/paint wooly spheres onto my model in ZBrush? I've looked for brushes and alphas, but so far i have found nothing. I was looking for wooly fur, simplified curly hair.. things of that nature. But i am just absolutely stumped with this one, i don't even know how to properly search for what i am after tbh..
It has to be sculpted fur, since it's going to be printed too at a later stage.
Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

As the title states, I am attempting to learn 3D sculpting and modeling. The plan was to begin with Blender and eventually purchase the perpetual license of ZBrush. However, the only options currently available are a monthly or annual subscription. I have no interest in either of those options.
So my question is, is there a way to still purchase the perpetual license?
If not, should I continue using Blender indefinitely?
I have just upgraded to a desktop pc but I still need to access zbrush on my laptop for university work is there a limit on how many timesni can transfer the license between the 2
I cant wait for season 3. I'm so hyped.
Work in progress. Gonna start colors soon 🙏
