Why can't people just be whelmed?

Stay whelmed.
This subreddit is for discussion, news, fan content, and shitposts related to a TV series called 'Young Justice'.
The series follows the lives of teenage heroes and sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation group referred to simply as 'the team'. Young Justice is essentially a young counterpart to the famous adult team, the Justice League. The main setting is a fictional universe apart from the previous DCAU and other continuities (designated as Earth-16) during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon.
Flair anything (Even teasers) that hasn't aired yet with the right flair.

I am currently writing an ambitious Young Justice fanfiction series that I hope will span multiple books, with each book covering one season of the show. The first book, titled "An Unknown Power," covers the events from before the beginning of Season 2 through the conclusion of Season 2. Second book, unnamed titled would be for season 3, and so forth.
I have posted the story on both Wattpad and Fanfiction.net so far to share it with other fans of the Cartoo and hope to get feedback on the fanfic.
A key aspect of my fanfiction is the inclusion of an OC who is an Alternate verion of myself. Originally, I had intended to use the Alter-Me as the protagonist in an original story of my own creation. However, I decided to use the fanfiction as an opportunity to introduce the Alter-Me to readers in a familiar setting before potentially developing an original work around her.
Rewatching the pilot episode, and watching Kaldur agree to the Cadmus mission feels almost out of character compared to how level-headed and cautious he is even for the rest of season 1.
Anyone have other examples of Kaldur saying “fuck it, sounds fun?” in the first season or two? Or does the leadership burden force him to be more serious throughout?
Is there a reason Roy’s clone ages and Superboy doesn’t? I’m currently rewatching and noticed how much older he looks in season 3.
I don't mean imagine him as a nice person. He's still a criminal and killer. But i had the thought about how things could be different if he weren't so unrelentingly abusive and callous to his immediate family.
For example if he gave enough of a damn about Paula to rescue her from whatever situation resulted in her losing the use of her legs. Maybe he prevents her from falling or just collects her so she isn't arrested. Admittedly we don't know the exact details so maybe there genuinely wasn't anything he could do but based on a conversation he & Paula have in the comics, you get the idea he didn't even try. If he actually tries to help her, or even just visits her in jail (which that same comic shows he didn't) how does that affect Paula's decision to leave "the life"?
Likewise if he just toned down the intensity of the girls training (maybe let your youngest rest when she breaks her arm?) that could be enough to change their relationship. Perhaps Jade doesn't run away to the League if she and her father aren't constantly butting heads? Likewise maybe Artemis doesn't resent him enough to join the heroes out of spite?
This idea came to me yesterday and i would like to hear your ideas.
Does batman acknowledge Ra's al Ghul's existence in season 1? Respectfully not interested in the tie in comics. Thank you
IT'S ORION ON HIS GOOFY AHH KIRBY MOBILE HAHAHAHAAHAH THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD MAN!!
When I saw the forever people in season 1 I knew I'd get more Kirby eventually.
Watching this show for the first time (it’s great) and been a fan of mystery Inc since it’s premiere. So it was a fun unexpected reference to see, and that version of scooby doo specifically nonetheless.
I don't know if there is a post about this or not... but, Jason Todd is shown in Season 3 and again in Season 4 in a span of a few minutes. Now we know that there is no Season 5 and we all know his story from Under the Red Hood. But my question is... do we get to see Jason's story in the YJ comics or not?
Anyone know where I could get a good young justice Kid flash costume
I’m currently rewatching Young Justice and man was season 1’s animation good. Obviously that’s when they had the largest budget. Everything about it is perfect.
Season 2’s animation is also very good, not as good as season 1, but good.
Season 3’s animation was okay. Nowhere near as good as season’s 1 or 2 but this is also when they broke off from Cartoon Network so they had to work with what they had.
Season 4’s animation is just terrible. The movements almost seem like they’re lagging. Their lip movements are so stiff it looks like it was dubbed from another language. You can tell they were low on money when they used telepathy for almost half the season so that they didn’t have to spend time and money on animating lip movements.
If they do a season 5 (pls pls pls pls pls), the animation is gonna suck ass but idk as long as we’re getting content then I guess it’s okay. Someone give YJ a raise.
This is how I would do it

Beware it's Female Tony Stark x Female Bruce because I've read a few stories like this and I'm hooked
Anybody realize that in the episode when Artemis joins the team that when the team (minus the Wallman) is at the beach, the song that’s playing is actually the beat from the Pina Colada song? I just noticed it on a rewatch, lol.
We know that the Light already has the Warworld, a bunch of meta humans, and an army of Kryptonians. But they wouldn’t just use them to conquer the galaxy, (or at least I don’t think that’s what they would do). Instead, Vandal would create a group of very influential aliens from across the galaxy, and convince them to start working for them, doing some favors in exchange. They’d do this by having formal reunions with them or straight up starfishing them with Starro Tech. Of course, they wouldn’t allow any of them to join the Light, since it’s a group that focuses primarily on humans, (especially after the whole Granny Goodness fiasco). Instead, they’d use them to gather information about different planets and start preparing them for conquer.
This group could be:
Mongul.
Despero.
Ma’alefa’ak, (White Martian).
General Zod, (Kryptonian).
Siniestro, (Yellow Lantern).
Atrocitus, (Red Lantern).
Blackfire, (Tamarean).
Imperiex.
Aqualad's voice actor voices pretty much EVERY black character in EVERY cartoon I've seen the past few years. I thought he was doing too many voices in YJ as well. I mean that baby was crazy, but DAMN!
I'd go with Miss Martian as hers are the most useful to real life I mean you can shape shift into anyone and alter your form and stay that way as long as you want, phasing through walls, turning invisible, telekinesis and op telepathy.
