My story on the Jan 28/25 event for 500 day countdown to the World Cup held at Regent Park CC in Toronto. Two of the York United roster were there with Dwayne DeRosario to run the kids through some drills. I also include some news about city progress and York news. BMO Field upgrades included in an interview with a city of Toronto director.

Looks like TFC II have locked up their dates for home games at York Lions Stadium. 14 home games (same as last season). This year 10 games in that dreaded Friday night at 7:00pm slot with only three Sunday games--all at 3:00pm. One on a Thursday at 6:00pm. Now we'll see what dates and times York United FC and AFC Toronto play.
I finally get my summary of Rocket Robin's Soccer in Toronto 2024 Summary written. 61 games of CPL York United, MLS NEXT Pro Toronto FC II, League1 Ontario and Canada's National soccer teams games held in Toronto. Add NSL AFC Toronto for 2025 and it will be even busier!

All the audio (20 minutes) of the Nov 21/2024 York United FC press conference where Mauro Eustaquio was announced as the new head coach. Also includes my writeup of some extra York United FC (League1 Ontario) answers from Ricardo Pasquel.

During a press conference today, Eduardo and Ricardo Pasquel, the Mexican owners of York United, addressed the issue about a potential stadium deal. They confirmed that ongoing discussions are taking place with various parties regarding the club's stadium options. While they are exploring multiple locations throughout the city, they chose not to reveal specific details about these negotiations. Importantly, they did not confirm whether the club will play at York Lions Stadium in 2025. The Pasquel brothers asserted, "We are not yet ready to announce a stadium deal. However, we anticipate making an announcement very soon."
I found their response somewhat confusing, especially since it has already been announced that their League1 team will certainly be playing at York Lions Stadium next year.
the title basically
All the audio from the post season media press conference with two of the owners...brothers Eduardo and Ricardo Pasquel. 27 minutes.
Questions asked about Benjamin Mora's departure, the new coach search, the new League1 Ontario team, where the team will play in the next few years, what they expect for the team next season. etc.

The Nine Stripes announced they acquired a license to compete in the 2nd tier of the League1 Ontario pyramid for the 2025 season. They will play under the name “York United FC Academy”. The club will also serve as a “reserve” team of the professional side, meaning a maximum of three players can be called down from the club’s CPL roster on short-term loans. The League1 Ontario team – just like the professional side – will play its home games at York Lions Stadium.
I ended up browsing the SixFive Website and noticed in some of their example pics, they use York United. I don’t think the examples are from the Woodbine Proposal?
Mostly just wishful thinking on my part as it looks clean.
Again, at this point, these are all rumours, but it is believed that York United's management will make a number of significant announcements, maybe in the days following the CPL Championship Cup Final.
