Last night between 10:30-11 there was an emergency landing and the aircraft had the to be towed off the runway. Delayed my flight a bit, no big deal but wondered if anyone knew what airline/flight/what happened? The only information given onboard was that we would be delayed due to it.

Hoping for some advice. I'm arriving at yyz 130am international. Assuming by the time customs and baggage are done perhaps 230 or maybe even 3... Any suggestions what to do (I can pick up my rental car at 6am; need to be on the road by 9 to get to my target destination).

I wouldn't mind a hotel but full price for a few hours doesn't make sense.

Is there a place to rest and relax in the airport? I'd be on Canada (not terminal) side obviously. Any short stay hotels? Sleep pods? I have read the Sheraton lounge is pretty comfy so that is my current thinking at this stage.

Reading on the news that security screeners at YYZ rejected the tentative deal, strike still possible. If that happened would it shut down the whole airport or would it "just" make things slow?

WestJet just changed my direct flight from Ottawa to Cancun, to a Ottawa - Toronto - Cancun flight. The issue is the layover is only 53 minutes. Is this even feasible? Coming back is worse at 45 minutes.

Wondering if anyone knows of any hotels that have on site parking for the duration of your trip included in the room price? We stayed at one in 2017 before our wedding and it was about 200 ish for the week plus our hotel stay the night before departure. Hello, We are arriving via WestJet in YYZ airport from Vancouver at around 10:30PM (Sept 1) (so, I guess arriving in the domestic terminal of YYZ). We plan to just stay overnight in YYZ airport because we have a flight the next day at (Sept 2) 8:30PM with Air Canada in Terminal 1 International Departure. Ideally, we would like to use an airport lounge on Sept 2 early morning before we head out of YYZ airport to explore Toronto for the day (we will be back in the airport at 5:30pm for our 8:30pm departure on Sept 2). I have access to Premium Lounge via credit card.

It looks like the Premium lounge in Terminal 1 is AFTER the passport control. So, we can't go inside in Sept 2 early morning and then get out of Toronto Airport to sight see, right ?

Is it possible to hang out in Terminal 3 Domestic Arrival, sleep there, the next day early morning -- use the Premium Lounge in Terminal 3, after using the lounge in Terminal 3 we leave Toronto airport to sight see in the city ?

Hey all.

Looking for some advice on getting a youth soccer team transported around town for 4 days. Was thinking of renting 2 x 12 passenger vans but it looks like slim pickings. I can only see 2 companies that offer these van rentals: Economy and Maxx. Anyone have experience renting from either one of these companies? Anyone have other suggestions on transportation for about 18 players and a few coaches?

I stupidly left my carryon bag by my gate before leaving for Christmas. I have a tile tracker on it, It is in terminal 1 near gates D1-D7 (down the escalators past the mill st brewery). I have filed a report, and called the airport numerous times however it is completely based on lost items being turned into the info desk. Would anyone be willing to take a look for my bag and turn it into the info desk? If so I would be just so appreciative and please pm me for the bag info!!!!

If your picking up in the evening, ask your passenger to meet you at the departures level to avoid the uber lengthy line up of cars trying to access the arrivals level.
