My poco f3 suddenly died today. I tried what I could, it was completely unresponsive. I brought it to the repair man who was unable to fix it.

Now it does respond. Only when I press the power and volume up button. I lights up and shows a corrupted purple greenish screen after it made a small vibration and then powers back off :( please help what can I do

I bought a Xiaomi Mix Flip and I've noticed that when the phone is closed, the hinge woobles slightly side to side (Like when you press the volume button) This movement is very small and visually not noticeable, but you can notice it moves a little. I know some other flip phones have this small wooble, but I wanted to know if this is specific to the design of the Mix Flip, or a fault of my unit.

If you own the same phone, try to move the top part to the side when closed, and see if you notice anything.

When i open the music app, and go to online and search something up, beforez it showed normal videos like YouTube, but now it only shows short videos. Any idea on how to fix this?

Been thinking about choosing between these two for long term use, 4-5 years to be exact. My Redmi note 9S last quite well for 4 years making me quite fond with Snapdragon.

Which do you guys think is better for long term use? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi. The phone came with MIUI Global 14.0.6 and MIUI version is TNHEUXM (some packages refer to EEA, so I guess it's for Europe). This is the latest for this phone through Xiaomi because they switched to HyperOS.

I do not want HyperOS (yet) also do not want to install TWRP or else.

Just unlocked the bootloader and wondering how can I flash official MIUI V14.0.9.0.TNHMIXM << this is global version.

Can I simply through manual file in phone OTA updater or can I use fastboot.

What would be the steps?

Usually when I unlock bootloader I go for custom roms and recovery but this time I need to stay with a debloated MIUI for a while, so I new situation for me.

I have a 13t pro and I really like it. Is it worth upgrading from the 13T Pro to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, specifically for its camera performance? I mainly use the phone for food photography and making videos for my restaurant, so I’m wondering if the 13 ultra camera really is a major improvement over the 13t pro to justifies the upgrade. I would give my 13t pro + $150 in the trade.

Does anyone know if slow motion mode does true 960 frames? Asking because I know some previous gen Xiaomi smartphones do interpolation from 120/240 fps to 960 fps (ei. Redmi Note 9s). I'm specifically interested in Xiaomi 14T.

I’m blind and thinking about getting the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active. I’d like to know if it has any built-in accessibility features, like TalkBack or a similar screen reader. Once it’s connected to my phone, it won’t be an issue since my phone supports TalkBack. But I’m really hoping the watch itself can be used independently to some extent.

Since May 2023, we’ve had a Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Ultra, affectionately named Ultron. It’s the best purchase we’ve ever made. With a toddler, a baby, and a long-haired cat in the household, Ultron works hard to keep our floors clean every single day. We were completely satisfied with it—until recently, when things took a strange turn.

We started noticing some weirdness with Ultron’s map. Over time, the room borders would slowly shift pixel by pixel, almost imperceptibly at first. Eventually, the entire map began rotating, as if Ultron were trying to align our flat with the Earth’s magnetic field (or maybe Google Maps?). Despite these quirks, Ultron kept doing his job perfectly. We didn’t worry too much.

That is, until yesterday.

First, I noticed Ultron bumping into things more than usual. He started getting stuck in places he’d never had trouble with before, like under the sofa (where he has plenty of clearance) or beside chairs. At first, I thought nothing of it, but Ultron wasn’t finishing his cleaning cycles.

After countless retries, it became clear something was seriously wrong. He couldn’t reposition himself after getting stuck. He’d back into things, turn awkwardly, and get stuck again. At one point, he broke a vase. Then he completely lost track of his dock, and his map was a warped mess. The dock itself had “moved” on the map, even though it had never been touched.

I figured it was time for drastic measures. First, I docked him and told him to create a new map. No luck. The same problems persisted: reversing into obstacles, spinning in confusion, and failing to clean. Next, I tried a factory reset. Still, nothing improved. It seemed like one of his sensors had failed and he could no longer detect distances correctly.

After many failed attempts, I gave up and issued a repair request on Amazon. Ultron had served us well, but it seemed his time had come.

But the next day, inspiration struck! In a last, desperate attempt to fix him, I decided to turn him off and on again. I long-pressed the power button, and the soft voice confirmed Ultron had powered down. When I turned him back on, I couldn’t believe my eyes: Ultron was reborn!

He immediately found his dock, created a perfect new map, and started cleaning like his old self again. It was as if nothing had ever gone wrong.

You see, we’d never turned Ultron off completely before—not once since we got him. His dock has always been plugged in, and he’s always been ready for action. I guess the poor guy just needed a proper nap.

TLDR: Our Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Ultra (Ultron) started acting possessed—bumping into stuff, getting stuck, breaking a vase, and losing its map. Factory resets didn’t help, so I filed a repair request. The next day, in a last-ditch effort, I turned it off and on again, and Ultron miraculously fixed itself.

So I heard that Xiaomi is soon going to make it impossible to unlock the bootloader on Chinese devices. Will this also affect these unofficial websites that unlock the bootloader for a certain price, or will they still have a loophole to unlock it?

I have a 13T Pro and I'm using the Second Space function for various messaging apps. I've recently encountered a very weird issue: when someone calls me to an app in the second space (e.g. Line), the phone will ring/vibrate while using the primary space.

However, there is no way to accept or reject the call, so it will just keep ringing without any option to block it. When clicking on "Switch" to enter the second space, it gives an error "Can't switch space during a call". Very confusing? Any ideas how to deal with this?

I just recently got my Poco f6 and coming from my mi 10t pro which ran many different roms but finally settled on crdioid I was stoked when I saw that the Poco f6 could also run crdioid, but has anyone been able to unlock thus phone's bootloader?? I'm on hyperos 1.0.3.0 I did not update as I heard that makes the process more complicated. So any bootloader unlock it's advice for this phone would be much appreciated.

I have some problems with refresh rate. I set it to 60Hz as I wanted, it's all good. Games, scrolling all works fine, until I restart phone. And everytime I restart my phone, it goes to 30Hz!!!! 😵‍💫 All I need to do is go to display settings and select 60Hz again, no matter that is already set to 60Hz, and it's good again.. This is a bit inconvenience, although I don't restart so often, but still I don't want this thing happening. Phone is Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Does anyone have a standard hyperos fastboot rom EU for redmi pad se? (Needs to be Google drive)

Has anyone managed to revert to an older OS version? I'm stuck on the Chinese HyperOS and unlocking the bootloader is so so so so difficult, applying to unlock hasn't work for the past 2 weeks, cause the quota limit is reached within 1 second.

Any advice? I just switch to global so I don't have to deal with random Chinese pages showing up and all the bloat that randomly pops up on Chinese.
