I'm really considering buying the Xiaomi 14t since its on sale and I heard its a great phone. The only thing I hear people complaning about is the battery life. Is there anyone who has some experience with its battery life that can tell me if its really as bad as people say??

I'm planning on buying the Pad 6S Pro but the official keyboard case is too expensive. I would appreciate it if you could suggest some alternatives. I'm also looking to buy the stylus and any cheaper options would come in handy. Thanks!

Am planning on purchasing a Redmi K70 Pro (the global release that takes on the form of Poco F6 Pro has a slower processor)

Understand that this model was only sold in China hence only CN ROM of which the bootloader cannot be unlocked freely in HyperOS.

I am worried about 3 main things:

1. Google Sync (Google Photos/Contacts etc)

Seeing as the CN Rom does not run off a Google Framework (pardon me if I used the wrong technical term), would I run into trouble syncing?

While I do understand that the apps can be installed via apk, do they have to be manually updated and do they work as well on the CN ROM? I was using a Xiaomi Blackshark 2 Pro previously and it was a painful experience with the CN ROM, Google Contacts and/or apps were not working well at all.

Is HyperOS a gamechanger in this aspect?

2. Xiaomi Mi Cloud Sync (Notes, Messages etc)

Am currently using a Poco F3 Pro and have all these synced to the Mi Cloud. The CN Rom should be able to retrieve my backup including the apps I have downloaded?

3. App Notifications

I recall having delayed or no notifications for WhatsApp and a couple of others despite changing the battery restrictions and auto starting them.

Appreciate input from anyone currently using a CN ROM.

I bought a new Redmi 12 everything's fine but the colors is a bit different for instance:
the first picture (twitter) is showing orange icons : Twitterscreenshot.
the second picture is for google contact, look how it is brown-orange, Google contact screenshot.
the third screenshot of Localsend app : this app icon should be green, : Localsend screenshot.
I noticed that it changes from time to time, how to stop it please and keep the original colors. I had Redmi 7 before ii didn't have this issue. I tried color scheme but don't seem to resolve it.

So after successful installation of ROM, it still displays the 20GB as system storage which i thought it'll disappear... but its still there.. is there any way I can get rid of it?

I am thinking about getting the ugreen gan charger for my Xiaomi 14t, will the fast charging work?

I recently purchased the 15 pro and live in the US and have project fi. I spent a good day troubleshooting a t090 error code when trying to activate my sim. I was initially able to send/receive SMS and calls, but not MMS. The solution was to download and install this exact version of fi.

I also suggest enabling every permission on the app as well. Idk if enabling permissions on the Google messages app helped either.

Service is great, was in Boston and Florida and getting consistent and fast 5g. Hope this helps people out there wanting the latest and greatest android phone!

I noticed that my Xiaomi 12 has received a security update every single month since April. Before that, there were updates like once every 3 months. I wonder if other flagships (Xiaomi 13 and 14) also receive updates this often? EU version

i have two phones, a xiaomi mi 11 lite 5G NE and a samsung S21. i need to transfer data between them, like a swap.

i thought about using the smart swich on the samsung phone and back it all up on a USB stick that i'll connect to the phone, once the backup is complete, i'll reset the samsung phone, and transfer the data on the xiaomi one on the samsung.

when the transfer is complete, does the smart switch app for non-samsung devices (the xiaomi in question) support gettin data from the backup inside the usb stick into the phone?

is there any other way to do this?

I have miui 14 with xiaomi.eu but some system apps are not working properly because they are not updated. Through the playstore it doesn't let me do the update and I can't find how to update them in the settings. What app do I have to download?

Hello everyone, I'm still in debate with myself over the Xiaomi 14T. I currently have an 11T Pro that I got last year in march, and so far, it's been good. I did have to change the battery a couple of months ago, as it was draining really fast as I've only been charging with the original 120W charger. Recently, I've seen the Xiaomi 14T on sale, it's the equivalent of $430 or €400 and I was wondering if it's worth going from a pro model to a non-pro one. Yes, I have looked at the Pro model, and the price of the Xiaomi 14T pro, at least now, is almost double, as opposed to the non pro model which I'm looking into. I'm not a huge gamer, I just want the similar features I have now on my future phone. I'm only looking into the upgrade thanks to the sale. So, the question is, is it worth going from the 11T Pro to the 14T? TL;DR Is it worth getting the now €400 Xiaomi 14T when I own the 11T Pro?

I have been using Xiaomi redmi note 13 pro plus and recently my YouTube pause button stopped working. I can stop the video but when I press the pause button to restart the video, it will not react. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Recently my phone (xiaomi 13) got splashed with water. I didnt thinked much of it because its working fine at first. Then suddenly the touch screen became crazy. Sometimes it does not work, sometimes it touches itself. Is this covered by the warranty? Is there a way i can fix it? Please help? Haha

Hello,I recently bought a used 11T Pro, and so far it's great! I don't even experience heating during my 4 hours or so of gaming on COD Mobile on very high settings, even though I was told that the S888 is prone to becoming a glorified heater when gaming. However, sometimes when an app downloads resources, I use this app called BleKip. It darkens the screen and covers it with a black color until I click twice to close it. I used it on my old phone to save battery over screen usage; however, on this phone, whenever I use BleKip, my phone starts to heat up a lot after around an hour, becoming noticeably hot when I touch the screen. Is this a software issue, or is it the app itself? Because after trying to download resources normally without using BleKip, the temperature stays cool.
(Also of note that battery usage also rises when BleKip is used compared to when its not used.)

I am using a redmi 9c since 2021 and everything was fine until last year one day my phone got black in whatsapp voice messages and calls. I didn't care because I had a university exam this year after the exam I send my phone to repair and they say you need to change screen and sensor and it cost 850 turkish liras (it's not a xiaomi service because my phone's warranty ended) despite they fixed my phone it happend 1.5 month later again now I will buy a new phone but Since I'm afraid the same thing will happen again and I don't want to see the money I've saved go to waste, I'm looking bad at buying a Xiaomi (I saved enough money to buy a Redmi Note 13 Pro) and I'm thinking of buying a Samsung. Do you think it makes sense?

I know this isn't about phones, but I bought a brand new Mi Smart Band 9 online and the BPM monitoring doesn't work at all. I've tried restarting, have the latest update, tightening and loosening the band, everything. Anyone else have had this problem? Any solutions?

just bought a xiaomi ax1500 and read about the xiaomi mesh network in the manual but there are no other instructions on how to set it up tried to google it but no specific instructions on how to maximise its utility. can i connect another ax1500 to my existing one? anybody has some info on how this work?

So the inevitable has happened and what I assume is the bearing on one of my fans has crapped out. Whilst the turbo setting is loud enough, the sound of the bearing crunching away is enough to make all the dogs and cats within a 1 mile radius cower in fear. Looking on Ali and eBay I can see there are a number of options but I want to make sure I get it right the first time, so does anybody have a link to the correct replacement fan I'll need? TIA

Ive been having trouble lately with my Samsung S22 mainly the battery drains out faster than before. Been looking at upgrades and wanted to move away from samsung or iphones.
