We're finally here.

I knew this day would come eventually. There was no way Monolith Soft would just leave the story there like that. Maybe I should've known once 2 was finished there would be a port of 1, and a third entry, at that point, was inevitable.

But I was so sure that this game had to be built upon at some point, and with the main trilogy completed, X has as big a spotlight on it as it can get.

It gives new players another entryway into the franchise, without the pressure of being a numbered title played out of order. And the new fan base they've reached throughout the Switch generation will be eager to give it a go. It's finally getting the chance it deserves.

I admit, I'm not exactly prepared for the influx of people we'll be getting in the next few months, let alone the bot activity we'll no doubt draw. My life looks very different from when I started rotating Murderess all those years ago. I don't spend as much time online as I used to, and I'm more concerned with building a future for me and my partner. I'd like to open up the subreddit so people can post without having to be approved, but for this to be feasible, we'd have to expand the mod team.

Some people believe it's the series' worst combat. There is at the least a general consensus that it is much less interesting than ground combat. Did you enjoy fighting in Skells, and how would you improve Skell combat in any way?

The game on the Wii U is great, but damn, those texts need to be bigger. Or at least give us the option to scale the texts to be larger or smaller. For that was abysmal on the Wii U. I was leaning in to read it. So, I was wondering if anyone else has a hard time reading the text and would like to see this feature?

How many of you will rush through the story to get to the new stuff and how many will take theire time? I will probably enjoy the games and do every nook and cranny

New game plus would be nice including having our skells from the start maybe increase the level cap from 60 to 90 or 100 in new game plus. Having Mia side story be separate from unlocking her let us get her after we give her the gear. Yes give the companions cell phones let us just go into the active members screen and in that screen on the right under reserve members actually have the companions that we have unlocked readily available there for us.

A big time saver that I’m hoping for is a button on the probe map screen that will allow us to just auto place probs in the region we are viewing to the site that best fits the function so a site that gives more miranium the button would auto place a available mining probe there vice versa with research probes then maybe if it gives little place a other probe like storage but I suspect we’ll have to do those manually.

A better inventory system for gear and just transmog they can easily make it so that when a piece of gear touches your inventory it gets entered into a data bank of sorts so that you can go to change fashion after selling the gear and still see it in the fashion list. I want this to be the same with weapons let us equip our strongest gear but also have weapon fashion transmog. It would be nice to be able to buy probes from the shop but I doubt that would be added.

Finally give us a story, easy, regular/normal, hard, survival/nightmare mode/s the game on Wii U makes us play on regular/normal difficulty but if we die 3 times to a boss it goes to easy mode which depending on the lvl difference can still be a little challenging. A story mode would be easier then easy let us experience the story with no worries of failing a boss fight and getting stuck have enemies not go above our current level or keep them 5-10 lvls below us.

Sometimes I use this game as a life simulator so I’d be nice to just play without having my skell suddenly destroyed by a overleveled enemy out of nowhere and then have to pay the overly expensive repair fee I guess they could add a cool down timer let us get our skells back after a set period of time that would be a nice quality of life change but I digress.

These are just a few things what would make the game go from a 9.9 to a 10. I know this is already confirmed to not be the case but it would have been nice to be able to play online without a switch subscription and just with internet like on the Wii U.

I have all the xenoblade games now including x, but I’m confused about which order I should play all the games in. Sorry if this has been asked before, a lot of people say different things. should I leave x for last or play it before xc1 since it’s not really connected?

I'm looking forward to some of the fashion equipment to be in a separate inventory so I don't accidentally sell them while i'm selling excess gear.

I loved XcX on the Wii U but I remember feeling like I missed a lot of content. I was young so some of the more complex stuff went over my head. I beat the game remember struggling to find all the side quests. Idk if I even did many of the H2Hs for this one cuz I was just running around filling in the map.

I really want to try it again on switch. Do you have any tips?

I honestly love this game and was by far one of my top 5 in Wii U era. I remember that this game had almost no loading screen, except if you fast traveled, or entered a building or something. I wonder how the Switch will Handle this massive open world.

I played original offline, and I consider myself a hard-core solo gamer (lol).

I never got into it.

But I have to ask, how much I'm missing?, what are the perks?.

I'll probably end up playing alone buy I'm curious. The only multiplayer thing I've played was in God Eater 3, cause they were like 10 missions or no and I was like: would not take much and I'll gain some juice loot for my single player route.

XC got a new chapter on the Switch, and both 2 and 3 have had additional content which connect them more strongly to the series as a whole. Plus, the ending of 3's expansion connects it to XCX.

The only thing we're missing is resolution on the after credits scene in XCX, and then pretty much every thread that's been set up for years will be neatly tied up in a bow.

It seems pretty undeniable that there will be an additional chapter with the remaster, right?

I love this game so much...i bought a switch just for this game 😁

I'm kind of a PC player, i used to play XCX on my switch and PC when the online went out, the only games i really played a lot was this game and splatoon.

When i saw the trailer i insta bought a switch + pre-ordered the game + bought splatoon, now i can't wait for the game to come out :D (only game i pre-ordered ever)

I loved the music in Xenoblade Chronicles X. especially "Uncontrollable". but then the music in New LA was not so great.

Is there a chance we'll see some new songs added to Definitive Edition?

And do we even want rid of some of the "bad" background songs or are they worth keeping for the cheesy charm?

Japanese voices were missing from the Wii U version and I haven't seen any info on whether Japanese voices will be added to the new Switch version.

I imagine they will be because Xenoblade Chronicles 1 benefited from JP voices on the Switch version so it seems safe for X but I haven't seen any confirmation.

Im lvl 18 on chapter 5 a galactic knight lvl 7 I plan to do dual guns with photon saber for a Jedi/captain Rex theme. I’m looking to level up fast and get good equipment quickly sadly I don’t have access to reward tickets.

My play through from before I was metal Jager lvl 10 character lvl 55 chapter 11 no flying skell and only have 10k money so I figure it would be best to start fresh, also I read that the affinity missions give the most experience is this true? I basically ignored them all unless it was required to continue the story so should I prioritize them this time around? Let me know which probe is better to use more of mining or research and can I buy them anywhere?

Last thing regarding Mia I really hope the DE version allows her to become a party member much easier and earlier like they make her side story separate from recruiting her. I never used her but I want to ask for those who have is she worth all the trouble?
