So i tried to use a stealth server for my jtag the console opened but the problem is it ask for an update, when i update it fails and 42FE 4497 1381 0300 C800 0036 gives a code like this

Ok so I just purchased an unmodded Xbox 360, I’m trying to figure out how to mod it.

Not only that but connect it to Xlink, that way I can play online and still have endless games on the Xbox. Can someone tell me the steps to this or if it’s even possible? It would be appreciated.

I don’t want to purchase a digital copy of this one game, I just want to download the games on the console and play online with Xlink.

i want to play some phyiscal games i still kept after selling my Xbox One years ago but i only have an Xbox One S Digital now from my brother. It still has all the connectors for a Disc Drive but i know that they locked it from getting used somehow. Can i mod my Xbox easily to make that accesable? I really dont have that much money for a new Xbox with Disc Drive

My jtag doesnt launch any stealth servers i tried proto on xbguard but none of them worked, is there a free stealth server that is reliable

I have just received a 1.6 Xbox with a xenium ice modchip installed.

The only problem is when I try to press eject I'm met with a message that says input password to access the menu. Problem being that I don't have the password and neither does the original owner.

I tried to use recovery.bin on the E drive with the chip in recovery mode. But unfortunately I get no signal or display when the chip is in recovery after turning on the Xbox.

The hard drive is also unlocked.

I just want to flash cerbios on the chip.

I'm going to softmod for the first time! I found my xbox in an old shed. It's a 1.0 with a now removed devil capacitor. Thankfully the only problem is that the disc drive won't open. Making a softmod a very sensible option. I'm broke tho and there where 2 port cables so I sacrificed one to make the usb adapter and give my controller s some pc support.

I want to know "What are your opinions on what I'm going to do?

The new consoles and games are meh and its all about money and recycled content so I was wondeding if there was still anyone out there selling modded xbox or ps2 with all the games out there

Some years I softmodded my original XBOX copying keys from orginal disk to a new bigger disk. But now days I started my XBOX again but that disk is died. Now how I can replace disk but no have original disk keys from original hdd disk. Its possible?

TLDR; Can someone confirm that these capacitors are indeed blown and point me in the right direction so I don't get capacitors that match a different model.

I am a software engineer with basic experience building computers but I am new to lower level hardware.

I recently decided to try and bring back to life this old console that went out years ago and even mod it, but I wanted a second opinion to make sure that I don't misdiagnose and then replace perfectly working components.

I also wanted to know how I can make sure I get the right cpacitors. I have an Xcalibur and Hynrx ram so this is an xbox 1.6b which online has many people stating that this exact case doens't happen but I think it has.

If someone could confirm or deny for me and even point me in the right direction to source new parts it would be much appreciated as even watching MattKC's video shows his capacitors are much wider than mine so I'm not sure how to know exactly which kind my model needs.

The OG Xbox has an authentic Ghostcase shell & the Xbox 360 has a dyed clear Ghostcase shell. I’m very happy with how the diy orange 360 turned out. It almost matches the OG Xbox Ghostcase.

I have a quick question about bridging R2C6 point. If I accidentally rip pads of can I bridge those 2 points as a workaround? I just want to be sure.

I have a clone Aladdin modchip that needs to be flashed with a bios to be used on a v6, but I don't really want to buy a programmer. I have another v1 xbox that I was planning to softmod + tsop, so I was wondering if I could use the bios on v1 and somehow get it to the v6. Im really knew to the og xbox modding stuff and dont have much knowledge in this field.

When I try to turn on the console it makes a little beep and then does nothing. Its a 1.6 mother board. has these switches installed as well. Anyone have any insight on this? I'm trying to get it up and running. Currently working on replacing those 5 problematic capacitors and that will hopefully do the trick.

My xbox has been up to some misbehaving.

I have a retail bios 1.4 mobo that I have built a modxo rp2040-zero adapter for and loaded it up with cerbios. When it works, it's great! I'm running custom dash, 1tb drive, dvd delete, even built an internal ogx360. But the problem occurs after i've been playing for a while (or just being in the dash) and I want to play something else, I turn it off and back on (or use the in game reset from the controller) it gives the 3x boot loop then flashing red and green, which would indicate a bad bios/eeprom. If I let it sit for 10-15 minutes, however, it'll fire right back up like there was no problem.

Any ideas? Could it be overheating the modchip? Might I have soldered something wrong? I've seen people talking about aladdin chips and soldering D0 to the ground plane, then jumping a pad to the mod chip ground. It's annoying when I want to play something else, then having to wait for it to sort itself out; I have a bit of the adhd and tend to just wander off.

when I was on the home screen of my modded 360, a jumpscare of the nun popped up. I haven't downloaded any roms. Just the basics. Can someone tell me why this happened, is it an update?
