Had anyone else pictured Nicole in a different wedding outfit? If so, what? I'm not so sure I liked that maroon outfit, though I was happy to see her in a suit.

Help please. I'm looking for a fic that was on AO3. Nicole is an alpha who is injured. Wynonna brings her home where Waverly tends to her. Waverly gets angry when she hears Nicole and another woman pleading each other in a bathroom stall. Wayhaught eventually get together and Waverly gets pregnant. I think the title or author is Better Weather or Better Whether. Does anyone know of this fic and where I can read it again?

So I know none of us know whether Nicole will have powers as the Angel’s Shield or not, but my question is: If she did have powers/abilities what would they be?

If she did have powers I think some of them could be: Enhances strength/ speed/stamina

Some sort of invulnerability (so that she doesn’t almost die every 5 minutes 😅)

Maybe like super sense where she can’t tell if the GRT is in trouble.

What shows do you guys like that also have a hilariously sometimes batshit character like Wynonna? I really loved The Umbrella Academy for example because Klaus was almost Wynonna-level funny

I know this is my 2nd post in 2 days but sorry I’m just super excited! I wanted to get your CRAZIEST theories about the upcoming special. They don’t have to make sense at ALL.

Mine are:

1. The garden somehow gives Wayhaught a baby. (Yes yes I know it’s unlikely we will see Nicole be pregnant in this special but I’m talking about like a fully formed magic baby lol)
2. Wayhaught adopted Rachel, and she’s away at uni.
3. Wynonna and Doc return but not with Alice. (I think about what Emily said once about her not being totally sure Wynonna and Doc would raise Alice because Wynonna made the hard and beautiful choice to give her up.)
4. Waverly runs an lgbtqia+ community center.
5. Nicole gets some sort of power/ is able to eventually leave the triangle.

What are your crazy theories?

It didn't seem like Martina was on set at all. :( There's all this talk about potential wayhaught babies (which btw people need to chill Kat is not Nicole, and although I get the prospect could be exciting let's respect real life people lol) but everyone is ignoring the OG wayhaught child that is Valdez.

I love this show. LOVE it. Especially how the actors deliver that witty dialogue. wish I knew other fans to talk about it with. Like this line, for instance. I'm worried that in all the solidly aware rapid-fire one-liners the writers have cranked out, they used a story Bat Masterson reportedly made up about Doc poorly handling trespassers. It's actually super edgy/funny in this scene if you can take the racism, but not very PC for an otherwise hip show.

I just noticed (yeah might be a bit of a slow brain moment) that Jolene said, "It's all in the smile and wave". The same thing Waverly said when she first encountered Nicole in the bar. Jolene then proceeded on to spill drink over herself like Waverly in the introductory scene.

So, she wasn't just trynna replace Waverly she was full on copying Waverly (albeit in her own way).

It’s just random little things like that that may mean nothing and they forgot about that line

Late arrival to the Earpers and am interested in attending my first ever con.

My only con to attending the con is my PTSD and accompanying hypervigilence/crowds and such. So...given my circumstances, IF (and that's a big if) I do decide to go, what can I expect?

What do you think this means for Waverly and her journey?

So there was a thread a few days ago about season 4 and the fact it was disappointing compared to previous seasons.

You may have seen my comments in said thread sharing my own thoughts. To summarise, I essentially said that I was disappointed with season 4, as it felt like they focused more on fan service than a good story. I found that the season lost my interest and, despite being around when Season 4b aired (as in I watched the episodes when they came out weekly), I didn't end up finishing the series due to losing interest because of the middle episodes.

I was in the middle of rewatching the show, and I had watched up to the genie episode (season 4 episode 9) when I wrote those comments.

Funnily enough, it turns out that's exactly where I left off last time. For some reason I thought that I'd only missed the last episode, but it turns out I never watched episodes 10, 11, or 12.

Well, I finished it the other day and those three episodes were really good! I'm so disappointed that I missed them when they first came out. My overall view of season 4 has now changed for the better. I was so excited to see Jolene again! I love her whole premise and I thought it was brilliant to bring her back. That episode was just really good and I enjoyed exploring the fog a bit more.

And if you saw that thread a few days ago you may remember that I wrote something along the lines of 'I wished they explored Waverly's angel side more'. Welp, turns out they did! I spoke too soon. And I loved it! Angel Waverly was so interesting. I liked how this was foreshadowed in the beginning of the season by the way Waverly's demeanor changed when she sat on the throne. Also what was the feather that Jolene pulled out of Waverly? I'm pretty sure it was part of her wings, but I'm not exactly sure of Jolene's motivations here. Jolene kept mentioning that Waverly would turn into a Demon, was that her aim? Because whilst it did seem to trigger Angel Waverly, she seemed to be neutral rather than fully angel or demon. Would love to discuss that episode more, I thought it was great.

I have a bit less to say about Episode 11 but still thought it was really good. Loved Nicole converting Angel Waverly back into a human. I thought it probably should have been a bit more difficult to do that, but I understand why they did what they did given no Season 5. Also enjoyed the guys in the BBD jail, thought those parts were really funny. Mercedes as a vamp was meant to be. Not a huge fan of Doc becoming the Clanton heir, but I'm glad it was short lived. I just don't like the Clanton storyline in general.

The last episode was also really nice. I didn't realise how much I needed an ending that is properly set up. What I mean by this is that I recently finished watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer (very mild spoilers for the Buffy finale) >! and the ending is very abrupt. The characters could go off to do anything, we don't know. The show just ends after they defeated the big bad. !< On the other hand, they took the time here in Wynonna Earp to carefully set up happy futures of the characters and that was just really nice to see. Of course, we will see them all again in the upcoming special, in which I hope they will carry on the momentum of the last few episodes and deliver us an exciting last look at these characters!

The reason I wrote that I only take back 'some' of what I said, is because I still think the middle of the season is quite weak. After all, it did make me lose interest twice. I'm still not a huge fan of the Clanton storyline and instead wish they explored the garden more. I also do think there is a lot of unnecessary fan service in the central episodes, but now I've watched the whole season this doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like it did before.

TL;DR/conclusion: Overall, the last 3 episodes were a lot more up my alley and displayed much more of what I enjoy about Wynonna Earp, I'm glad I finally got around to watching them. Whilst the middle episodes were still quite weak, I now view season 4 in a much more positive light, and I'm very excited for the special! Thanks everyone :)
