Seems like flo is the innovative group running better, quicker shows at a better price. Lots of the moves they have made with high limit racing seem like no brainers such as the major midweek shows with larson. Why wasn't WoO doing this already? I like their documentaries as well which get alot of viewership on youtube. Curious as to what long time sprint car fans think as I'm not as familiar with the open wheel world.
Hey all,
I went to the Natty Open a few weeks back and have gotten seriously hooked on dirt track racing.
I've started to re-watch the High Limit season on Flo, but there's a ton of content on there and am wondering if anyone has old race recommendations to check out?
Thanks!
Dirtracker's latest episode stated that T-Mac is out of the Rocket House Car, and that Rocket has flirted with potentially a B-Shep and Josh Richards both coming back not in a full-time capacity. Would seem odd if the Rocket1 didn't field a full-time driver of some kind. But that signs point to a B-Shep/Rocker reunion.
RTJ announced he was sticking with Koehler, where most rumors or signs pointed him going to the Longhorn House Car. And Justin stated that the new driver and crew have been set, but on official announcement."
Not a house car, but Justin also stated that there could be a change between SSI and Hudson O'Neil, and that SSI could also find a new chassis manufacturer.
A lot of drama, with a lot of top teams. Link is below.
How many dirt racing collectors orders or preorders from ACME? I’ve tried twice and haven’t had a great experience. I’ve placed two orders and both diecast were out of stock but the website said in stock. The diecast still says in stock a few months later.
I’m thinking about pre ordering the 2024 Chase Briscoe midget 1:18 scale but I saw a few weeks ago it was out of stock, now it said it’s back on pre order.
I’m just starting to get a weird feeling for ACME but at the same time I want to start a dirt racing diecast collection.
Any advice?
Someone said it seems Lucas is disconnecting from the regional guy and only going to bigger venues. Trying to look classier. Not running as many small backwoods places.Facility matters more not the track. Saying Flo is trying to make it more corporate and classier , the Lucas Late Models
Do you agree?.
Anyone else notice a quality upgrade lately? I mean the broadcast itself within the last month has gotten way more stable with far less buffering and the picture is really clear on the big event streams. Last nights Lucas show was basically 4K. Just wanna give props when props are due. Your turn, DIRTVision.
Glad to see them back at Joliet but dang Northern Illinois in middle of October isn't doing them much favors
If they had this in middle of summer or spring, for sure a big crowd! Only about 51 degrees out.
Hope the WOO doesn't count this as a failure
I can’t post the link apparently but it’s all over social media
Edit: link in comments
Hi. As said before coming over from uk for the week and have booked tickets via the woo page. No option to book out passes, do you just get them once in the venue ? Thank you.
After this weekend at Knoxville, and headed tomorrow night, the final four has been narrowed to Ricky Thornton Jr., Devin Moran, Jonathan Davenport, and Tim McCreadie.
Who do you think is going to end up taking it? Also seems like the weather thanks to Hurricane Helene is going to affect at least the first two races, if not potentially more. I think it will go down between JD and Devin Moran, and I hope Moran pulls it off, being a fellow Buckeye. I'd like to see McCreadie do well.

Hi all. Looking for some advice - me and some friends are travelling over from the uk for finals week and just wondering what to expect. What’s parking situation? Does it sell out? What’s the weather normally like? Any other hints and tips appreciated.
Being reported by flosports
Whos going to Lernerville this weekend for High Limit? I'm pumped first time seeing a two day 410 show at Lernerville and camping about 10 min away.
Apparently this has made the round(s) on FB, and if you're on twitter, you have may seen it previously as well.
Dirtrackr reported before The World 100, that he expected there to be some movement between the Rocket R1, Longhorn Chassis House Car, and Lance Landers Team (Jonathan Davenport). Since then, Dirtrackr followed up that Lance Landers confirmed Superman will return for 2025, which, would have been the biggest surprise of the three in my opinion.
Who do you think may replace Brandon? I'd guess that's RTJ's ride, since Koehler Motorsports had been running Rocket Chassis, and then added this second national tour team, a Longhorn Chassis for RTJ.
Do you also believe that Tim McCreadie will return to the Rocket House Car in 2025?
I ask this as a friend owns a Late Model running partial schedules in WoO and Lucas Oil. He has had multiple engine issues this year supposedly caused by water in the fuel. Is this a common thing? I don’t hear it from the front running cars, unless they test their fuel before it goes in the fuel cell.
Finally got caught up yesterday from a vacation, and the racing that all ensued last week. Dale McDowell getting stuck in lapped traffic, and not winning is so disappointing. A Team Zero race car with Dale McDowell would have just been too good to be true. Helluva run regardless from MacDaddy.
Also, the Dream was a snoozer from a leading standpoint. But, every other national event at Eldora this year has been stellar. Hopefully, whatever magic has been put in the track for 2024 returns for the 4 Crown Nationals and 2025.
