It can't find Java! It says java.exe is damaged! - you probably need 64-bit Java.

I want to create a 5000x5000 custom map that seamlessly blends with the surrounding terrain generated by a seed. I'll be selecting a seed where the custom map is positioned at the center.
I've been trying to follow Lord Dakr's video but it always ends up having a flat grass layer when I set it to "bottomless world" and I cannot erase it at all like he did. The cave layer also is not working either because after it goes past said grass layer, it just becomes flat and a patch of stone. Is it because I am trying to make a 1.18 - 1.20 map?
i just noticed that if your schems have cave_air blocks that you spawn under water - WP will not water-log them automatically
but i want that WP water-log them automatically in water areas
in which way i could edit WP behavior related to cave_air water-log properties? Or should i ask developer for such update of behavior instead?
Currenly i use light block for such purpose - because it automatically filled by WP water. But schems with light block do not allow players to put water that flows. So i'm asking about cave_air because this block the most close to the default air block behavior
I'm Trying to make a recreation of ALBW with world painter but I'm new to using it and map making is there any advice that could be useful? Especially anything to do with death mountain since I have no idea how to do that.
Hi everyone within the next few hours I will have a huge revamp On my world

I have experimented a little with making my beaches and i have come to this result. I already like the driftwood that I added (Btw, is there a way to make them all oriantate in a certain direction?), but I still feel like they are just too empty. I would like this size of beach, but I want them to feel a little more lively. I have thought about adding some tidepools, but those are really only common around cliffs.
Any thoughts?
I'm searching on several tutorials but I can't find a solution, I created a map with an infinite water border of level 112. On the map I manually created a depth of -120, and I would like to have the same depth outside the map. Do you have any solutions?
I was wondering how and if I would be able to get rid of these weird steps. I am making a map with huge mountains (1-2k height) and for that I have increased the maximum Brush size to make large Mountains and because the brushes I use are not that high res (512x512) these weird steps are created. I have attempted to uspcale my brushes, but that has unfortunately failed since the upscaling messes up a lot of the details. I have smoothed everything, but I like my mountains to be more rugged. Since smoothing everything and adding in ruggedness is a lot of work, is there an easier way to do this?
Thx
I'm working on a 1.12.2 world and most of the tree packs i used contain wood blocks, which are not available in 1.12.2, so is there a quick way to replace all of them with log blocks (because i don't want to go through every individual one to replace all of the wood blocks) or is there any tree pack that doesn't use wood blocks? Thanks for any help
I'm in the process of making a map surrounded by glacial ice walls as a natural (or unnatural) barrier. I've made custom frozen unbreakable blocks for the walls and it's going well. Only problem is that the player would be able to bury out of the map or escape through a cave.
How would I go about spawning a 20k x 20k bedrock cylinder to enclose the entire world? Is this something I can do in worldpainter or would worldedit be my best bet?
Is there a way to create one biome world instead of a border/endless flat around my map?
i don't know how to explain this so i'll just post a video
I made a map partially and played on it in survival mode on a private server. I edited more mountains into the map and downloaded the first verion of the map to merge to the new one. An error popped up (worldpainter existing map has different height (-64) than world painter (0)). I exported the map in 1.2, and when I imported it, it changed to 1.19 or later Map Format. How can I fix this? And how can I continue to play and merge maps on my survival world as I play on it?
I have this schematic I want to use as a custom object:
Despite having the "Plants: remove from invalid blocks or if other half is missing" setting unchecked under the default post-processing settings in Worldpainter, the schematics come out like this regardless:, the plants popping off:
Plants popped off stained glass :(
How can I keep the plants on top of the illegal blocks like how they are built in the first image?
I'm okay with my custom terrain just cutting off, but I don't want players to see minecraft generation or fall into the void in-between. What border settings should i run? Isn't there a barrier block integrated into minecraft that's invisible?
I just released version 2.32.2 of WorldPainter, which fixes a small bug:
config.old
file to config
and restarting WorldPainterYou will be offered the new version automatically when you next start WorldPainter, or you can download it from www.worldpainter.net. Let me know if you encounter any problems and please enjoy!
I was wondering if I can play on a partially made world in survival and expand the world as I play. If possible, is there anything I need to watch out for to not bug my world out?
I just released version 2.23.1 of WorldPainter, a minor release which adds the following functionality. This is just stuff that I had been working and saved up. I will have a bit more time again from now and plan to finally finish some stuff in the near future:
biomeId = wp.getBiome().withName('minecraft:cherry_grove').go() // For vanilla biomes
biomeId = wp.getBiome().fromWorld(world).withName('custom:mybiome').go() // For custom biomes from a particular world. Note that if there is more than one custom biome defined with the same name but different ID's, the result is undefined
You will be offered the new version automatically when you next start WorldPainter, or you can download it from www.worldpainter.net. Let me know if you encounter any problems and please enjoy!
One of the goals for my world was to make realistic rivers that feed from small mountain ponds/springs and combine to make larger rivers in the plains, the northern fork isn't done yet.
To ensure realism I wanted to make sure everything made sense on the ground and there were no sudden jumps in river size. Also if you're starting out I've found that adding dirt, gravel, and other things around the river add some realism as well as placing rivers in depressions so there are river banks.
Let me know what you guys think and if you have any recommendations.
Southern River Fork, different shades of blue indicate different river depths.
One of the larger river forks, eventually I will add underwater plants as well.
One of the many mountain ponds that feeds a single block wide river.
For backstory I run a fairly large modded MC server. We currently use a map that is 1:500 scale of earth and it suites our needs super well. We are doing a season 2 in the near future and I want to learn how to make a custom map of the same size. What is the best way to go about this? I mostly just want to make a general shape and have WG do the rest. I also need to be able to add custom ore spawns for localized ore. Is WP the best way to go about this?
this happened after trying to import a schematic of a bush I made using axiom on minecraft version 1.21.1
I'm wondering if it's like a schematic version that worldpainter isn't compatible with yet or something?
Hello, I’ve made a modded block but I have no idea how to use it within world painter
I’ve searched youtube and google and found no info that helps
if anyone knows how i can import the mod into world painter i would really appreciate it.
I created my first map, but I messed up the water level at first and now it's wavy, where and how can I make all of the water flat? I tried using the flattening tool with the brush settings set to "water only" but it didn't work
