Wonder woman #13

I'm currently reading Tom kings run in tradebacks and have just finished Sacrifice which I was really enjoying until it got to the Absolute Power ties ins. Does issue 13 return to the isolated Wonder woman story with the Sovereign ?

Is Grail disappointing to anyone else?

When I first saw her, she seemed so insanely deadly and powerful. I mean, she was wrecking half the League and nearly killed Shazam. But now she gets destroyed in a 1v1 with a /weakened/ Diana? Sure, she gave Diana a really good fight, but seeing as how Diana was already tired and bloody by the time Grail showed up, I feel like it wasn’t exactly a fair fight to begin with. Plus, the circumstances of the fight were so lame; she was literally just being employed by a more plot important villain to wittle her down so said villain could then carry out his plans. Really? That’s all she is? At least in Circe’s case, she didn’t seem all that invented in the project, and she really just cast like one spell before napping on a bench. It felt like such an important part of Grail’s Google Calendar when she was really just playing a small role in someone else’s bigger plan.

II mean, she’s the daughter of Darkseid and an Amazon; she should be the ultimate warrior! I feel like if nothing else, she should be someone Diana has to be in top condition and armed with some weapons to fight. After all, if she needs the whole League to fight Darkseid, I feel like fighting his daughter, a New God-Amazon with omega beams and a Shazam-impaling scythe, should be more of both a challenge and plot-important event.

Does anyone remember if Wonder Woman ever had her own reporter character? If not, how would you make them?

Sexuality.

I don't want to get into a big argument but I don't it makes sense for all the Themascryans to be bisexual. Considering they have no men and as well erasures asexual people. I'm bisexual myself,so it feels as someone once stated something about living on an island of all women it breaks the "barrier" of your sexuality. because I strongly don't believe in the concept that everyone is a little bisexual and/or the fact the world would be better if everyone was bisexual because that completely missed the point of other problems society as and being bisexual doesn't automatically make you "open minded" more than others. I've open minded straight, gay and lesbians and closed minded and like wise for bisexuals.

Are the runs after William Messner-Loebs standalone?

I'm done with the Loebs' run and I want to continue reading Volume 2. However, I've read that the Byrne run disrespects the character and am planning to skip it.

In fact, the only run I'm interested in is the Rucka run. Can I skip Luke and Jimenez or are they worth reading?

Do y'all like the New 52 run or nah?

Hey y'all, I'm currently getting wonder woman library together and the biggest hole is the New 52 stuff right now

So I've read some posts asking about the Azzarrelo run and people genuinely really liked it, then a bunch of places on the subreddit seem to actually enjoy it.

So, I'm asking for a vibe check, is it a good run or should I read something else?

Is There a Wonder Woman Equivalent to Superman: Peace on Earth?

By which I mean, is there any WW story that's just about Diana doing humanitarian work and finding out that the dealing with the evils of everday life is more complicated than it seems? Peace on Earth is one of my Top 3 Superman stories due to that, and I was wondering if there was something similar for Wonder Woman.

Asking also cause most of what I tend to see about her is just doing the typical Superheroine stuff, and I'm also interested in seeing a more down-to-earth take on Diana. Not one where she's just being the typical Amazon God-slayer or symbol of justice and compassion, more one that is more focused on her just being a woman trying to make life better for the little guy. Is there anything like that for her?

Question :Which Greek goddess gave Diana life

I've always thought it was Hera who gave her life from clay for Hippolytas worship but I've also heard some saying it was Aphrodite. So could you lot clarify who it was for me?
