A simple one for today, I am not feeling well

I personally think it will be incredible, considering the super talented dev team behind it.

I ask since I feel like it'd be a neat discussion, especially since I don't think a lot of mythologies have mythical lands of only women (though there are often a lot of warrior women, I feel like the whole human race may be in denial and only now are we admitting our interests) but I do have some ideas as to where she might come from in different myths. Also I'm gonna avoid using the realms of gods since while I do kind of view Thor and Diana as filling the same role in their respective trinities (being the Fantasy Ones while Clark and Tony are the Sci Fi Ones and Bruce and Steve are the relatively normal-ish ones) they're still pretty distinct from eachother

Norse Mythology: either Alfheim home of the elves or Fólkvangr, Freya's realm, if you wanted to get rid of my "not a god" rule I guess she could come from either Asgard or Vanaheim

Egyptian Mythology: one of the twelve kingdoms of the underworld that Ra travels through at night

Incan Mythology: Paititi, a legendary utopian city of gold (and I guess alternatively you could also have her be from any one of the "Seven Cities of Gold" associated with different Native American cultures)

Arthurian Legend: Avalon

I kind of wanted to include Japanese, Chinese, Hindu and Polynesian mythology, but since I'm not really well versed with them I decided not to because there's a very high chance I'd f*ck it up. However if you guys know enough about them (and other mythologies) and have ideas of where she'd be from, that would be very much appreciated ^^

oh! also as a side question, who do you think her parent(s) should be? since Hippolyta is an actual character from Greek Mythology and all

Heracles is probably Themyscira's greatest villain, the absolute evil who enslaved and raped the Amazons. Placing the player to be an Amazon like Diana, the final boss being the big bad of the Amazons would be an epic outcome to defeat, leaving Ares still to explore further in this possible franchise.
