Proud Libertarians in the great state of Wisconsin. The place for Members of the Wisconsin Libertarian Party and all libertarians. Current and potential LP members to share news and topics of interest. Although we will often disagree on tactics, we expect members of this subreddit to be in general agreement with the strategy of increasing liberty by growing the size and influence of the Libertarian Party in the USA.

Fiscally conservative and socially tolerant, while loving cheese.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

Okay so I'm not a princess Leia... Im just a libertarian guy in his 30s with an odd request (you can delete this post if it is not allowed).

It has come to my attention that finding like minded, freedom loving friends is difficult. It is harder yet to find like minded friends with the same hobbies.

More often than not these days, when I attend or host events for the hobbbies I enjoy, people I meet are socialist or otherwise liberal-minded (and not classical liberalism either). It is getting pretty frustrating. I've been lucky to find a few conservative friends in the same hobby but i'm hopeful to find more closely similar friends.

So now im trying to look for like minded libertarian folks that are open to learning something new, or already have experience in role playing games like dungeons and dragons. Specifcly I want to run (DM or GM) a pathfinder1e campaign. If you dont know what that is, its like lord of the rings, except the story is written collectively as a group (usually 5 to 7 people) and it exists mostly in an imaginary place the within the minds of the players, but partially on a table top map or grid as well.

The story is created together through the individual group member choices.

If you are libertarian, like fantasy books, like lord of the rings books/movies, live near the fox valley, and you want to play a game like dungeons and dragons, send me a message!

A r/Wisconsin refugee

The r/Wisconsin is a dumpster fire, I've been banned from that and r/milwaukee. So glad this sub already exists. I made my own too, because screw those guys and their leftist circle jerk. Oof.

Stopped by police without having drivers license and jumped to the back seat

I'm from Wisconsin. Last week I was driving two of my friends home because they were drunk, I forgot the lights off so the police stopped me, I got scared because I don't have drivers license so I jumped to the back seat, I asked my friend to go to the driver seat but he didn't, the police came and no one was in the driver seat. The police asked my friend who was driving he said I don't know, I said he was driving, he's drunk he got scared so he jumped to the other seat, it was my friend's car so they took him and they gave him a ticket and he has to go to the court on July but I will leave in May. I'm planning to come back to the US next year and I don't wanna leave the country having any problem I need help to know what should I do, I want to tell the court that I was driving and I lied because I got scared because I don't have a drivers license. I want to know what could happen to me when I do this. Thank you.
