I am NOT interested in street stuff!
Sorry for the post guys and girls; I'm new in town maybe 5 months; I don't know much about here; but well maybe because I'm Latino it's difficult, I'm Cuban and I have a basic intermediate level of English; Is it very difficult to relate here with other people? I previously lived in Houston and well it was never difficult for me to socialize maybe because of how Houston society is, I apologize in advance to anyone who may be bothered by my post 🫂🫂🫂

Hi! I live out of state and want chocolate-covered strawberries delivered to a relative who lives in Linden. I would love to know where the best place for gourmet chocolate is and if Uber Eats or DoorDash is better in your city.
New to town and looking for some fun things to do on the weekends! I’d love to get outside and explore some trails here.
However it has been so cold recently! Do you have recommendations for things to do indoors around here? (Preferably on the cheaper or free side)
Hello fellow Williamsport driver. This is just a quick note for you. You know that lane you are in when you are getting on the beltway (or any other freeway anywhere in the country)? It is for ACCELERATING UP TO THE FREEWAY TRAVELLING SPEED. If you are going under 55 mph when you enter the travel lane you are fucking doing it wrong! And you are running the risk of causing a serious accident. This is simple math, if you are going slower than the guy in the lane you are about to get in to you force that guy to change lanes, speed up or hit his brakes. Its YOUR responsibility to merge smoothly, not theirs to make room for you.
EDIT: For those people arguing in favor of slow rolling the on ramp... this is taken directly from pa.gov drivers handbook.
Merging With Traffic Merging with traffic also demands good driver judgment. Whether you are changing lanes on a highway or entering a highway from a ramp, you need enough space to move safely into the traffic stream.
Entrance ramps for highways often have acceleration lanes. These lanes run beside main traffic lanes and should be long enough to allow you to accelerate to the speed of traffic before you enter the highway itself. These lanes also allow drivers on the highway to see you before you enter the road. It is illegal to pass a vehicle ahead of you in an acceleration lane.
Follow These Three Steps to Merge with Traffic from an Acceleration Lane:
Put your turn signal on, and look for an opening in traffic. Accelerate up to the speed of traffic. Merge into the opening in traffic.

TLDR: Iam right, you are wrong
There’s a small box, about the size of a tissue box, tucked away in Lock Haven. It holds something that shouldn’t exist. Something far beyond mere desire, beyond anything the average person could even comprehend. What it contains is priceless in ways you won’t understand until it’s too late. Find the box, and you may change your life…
Here is a hint of it's location -
Old stones.

Train run in Williamsport ?
Does anyone have recommendations for the best ski shop & boot fitter in the area? After a lesson or 2, we're planning on getting my fiance set up instead of doing rentals every time. At least want to start with her own decent pair of boots and maybe a used pair of skis. Years ago I got a pair of boots from a place in Montoursville, but they're no longer in business (unless they moved that I don't know about). Google maps isn't showing anything closer than almost an hour away, which isn't an issue, I just want to make the trip worth while if we need to kill an entire Saturday instead of just picking a random one from the google list and hoping for the best.
Anyone else has Fast Bridge and it's down? Been almost 3 hours down.
They sent out a text as I was writing this. Curious if anyone else has it down or has information on it.
uploaded earlier today and saw on facebook. just joined the reddit page today to share this lmao
Wife and kids woke up to a loud siren around 4am this morning and some coworkers were awoken aswell. Anybody know where it came from? The siren lasted 1-2 minutes and then a couple of minutes later I heard multiple fire trucks go off
Hey neighbors! I'm looking for a wooden coffin big enough to fit someone around 5'6. Trying to find something for a reasonable price and i don't mind doing work on it. Trying to make myself a suitable place to sleep in my extremely small room.
Green Party of Pennsylvania is recruiting delegates to their state committee for the first time from counties that are not self organized. The only requirement to serve in the committee is you are a registered voter in the party. They have openings for 2 delegates from Lycoming County to be representatives of their local county in 3rd party politics. Sign up with this form.
Hey all, I am looking for a hair stylist/barber in the Williamsport area that is affordable but offers higher quality work than let’s say QuickCuts. I figure 25-30$ is a good price range, but when I search up places online all I see are cuts for 40 or 50$. Any suggestions? I am open to anywhere, but especially local small businesses. Thanks all for your time!
Hello, Williamsport! I am the webmaster for susquehanna500.com.
Recently, the ownership of the domain changed hands to me and I am trying to create a website to preserve the history of the event as well as to be a starting point for any future revitalization efforts.
I've already done a ton of research into the event history, canvasing the entirety of the Sun Gazette's archives on the event. I've also managed to dig up old technical manuals for the karts used for the event (Manco model 713/715).
However, I find myself needing more pictures, videos, and general information of the event over the years. So, I figured I'd put out a public call for some.
If you have any pictures, videos, articles (non-Sun-Gazette), or records of the event such as technical manuals, race and qualifying results, diagrams, or internal communications these would be incredibly useful.
Please send any such sources to sources@susquehanna500.com. By sending us sources, you allow us to post them on the site and/or retain them as references. Not all sources are guaranteed to be publicly viewable. We will not use your sources for any advertising, republication, or AI training purposes. If you are sending photos, videos, or articles, please include credit where you can so I can provide credit where possible.
If you have any questions pertaining to the event, I'll do my best to answer them in the comments. But, there is only so much that I have answers to so please be patient haha.
P.S. Attempting to go to the site currently will redirect you to the Facebook page until the site is complete. Stay tuned for it to be open.

I'm trying to transition from active duty military to being in the guard or being a full-on civilian. Does anyone here have any insight into working there? I know how to apply for the jobs on their website. I'm just looking for personal connections or insights.
What’s going on in Williamsport this weekend or week?
I have a bunch of giant paper bags from Wegmans (over 50). Is there a place I can donate them around here?
Me and my partner recently relocated to Williamsport due to career changes. What are some fun places to explore the area, favorite places to eat and drink, nice places to hang out?
The boys and i wanna go to a bar where we wont get kicked out for playing rap music on the jukebox
Is there an area around that has lights at night where I can go running at night with my dog? I know lock haven has a river walk that has lights but anywhere closer?
Does anybody know any alternative schooling in the area?(not online). I’ve been looking into riverrock but see very little reviews about it.
I'm looking for used Stephen King books. Any advice on where to get used books in town? Thanks!
I'm eighteen and have been in the goth/punk subculture since like seven. I'm looking for interesting people to make friends with.
I am looking to get in shape by running stadium steps or public access steps. I did it when I was young & lived somewhere else. The local schools would allow anyone to run the steps.
Are there any stadiums open for public use to run the steps? Or, is there a tall steep set of stairs anywhere? Or, last resort, is there a tall steep (safe & low traffic) hill anywhere?
Thanks for any help.
