I tried getting Wii Sports + Resort onto my USB Drive but whenever I go into USB Loader GX the game doesn’t show up. I know that my file location and names are correct but they won’t display.
These exact forwarders were working fine yesterday, and suddenly, they just.. stopped working??
It's been happening since today, I've tried looking for help on Reddit, but couldn't find anything :/
Yes, I have restarted and I have the USB Loader GX forwarder itself.
Hey everyone,
I've embarked on an exciting project to play Wii in my car and I’m thrilled to share it with the community. With the Sensor Bar embedded into the cover of the radio head unit, I created a custom Wii car power adapter that provides a stable 12V 3.6A power supply. Unlike other adapters with lower power ratings (3A and 3.15A) that struggle with USB HDDs and SSDs, my adapter ensures reliable performance.
Why I'm Doing It This Way
This custom Wii car power adapter is the result of extensive research and trial and error. USB Power Delivery standards can be challenging, with 11V 4.05A being optimal, but existing USB-C to Wii power options use the 12V 3A setup. Other dedicated options, which are often no longer produced, have lower power ratings (3A or 3.15A) and struggle to power USB HDDs and SSDs. I discovered that a stable 12V 3.6A power supply was essential for reliable performance, uninterrupted gaming, and protecting my equipment. Inferior products just weren’t cutting it, so I designed a superior alternative to meet the specific power needs of the Wii.

I’ve documented the end result on YouTube. You can watch it here to see how I set it up in my car.
Feedback would be great. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
I have the Cios downloaded
i want to know how to get the piracy channel on my Vwii (wii U) the piracy channel is just a homebrew channel reskin so please dont take this post down
some games showing up in the loader let's me click start but then the screen goes black and just returns me to the main menu.. i did some* research and found this post from over 5 years ago on wiihacks. someone posted this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=athlzOXf_5U video in the comments and i'm just worried about messing up my wii with something that's outdated. so i guess all i'm asking is would what that kid did in that video fix my problem? also someone who homebrewed their wii told me they had the same problem and the only one he changed was 249, but didnt say what to or anything. i was just wondering if anyone knows how to fix it on here.
thanks
Hello all, I just bought a 1tb my passport ultra, I have a wii that was homebrewed with an SD card, my question is which format do I put my hdd in to be able to load and play gc and wii games? Also can I use the SD card for the apps like hombrew/gsxloader/wiiflow and use the hdd for stored games st the same time?
My wii is a pal region, but it has the region free patch with priiloader
I recently got into WII modding a few days ago, and I'm currently looking for a HomeBrew app to bring back dead WII channels (E.G: Check Mii Out, Forecast, News). I tried looking on many websites and YouTube videos, but nothing seemed to work!
I have a wii that was modded for me years ago and it has a USB HDD with all my games on it. The drive has three partitions. I believe the drive is formatted as WBFS since I can not see it when connected to my Win10 computer (without loading any additional s/w). (I've attached a couple pics...)
Additionally - I'm looking at firing up Dolphin on a new PC, most likely running Linux either Ubuntu or Mint -- and would like any USB HDD containing my games to work with that.
First goal though, I'm interested in backing up my current USB HDD w/games to a fresh USB drive and am looking for some feedback on best steps to take. :-)
A few other questions I have - in addition to making a USB HDD copy:
Thanks in advance for your feedback (and if I need to provide any additional info just let me know)!
I'm using a 128GB Sandisk USB Stick formatted to FAT32 and a 32GB SD Card
So first issue basically whenever I start up USB Loader all the games load in correctly except for 3, I downloaded 25 games and only 22 show up and run perfectly fine the 3 games that aren't showing up are:
Cursed Mountain, Fragile Dreams, and Hasbro Family game night 3
I put them all into folders as wbfs files renamed the folders and files themselves correctly by doing (Game name) [RQ6EJJ] then renaming the files themselves to just the ID anyone know what's going on?
My second issue is that whenever I exit a game from USB Loader to the regular Wii menu the screen turns black and the controller turns off and the Wii becomes completely unresponsive for a bit until I turn it off.
I'm very new to modding the Wii as I just modded it yesterday so if anyone can help that'd be awesome!
Sorry if it’s a dumb question. I’ve been using USB Loader GX a lot lately, and I don’t know if it’s bad to be using it a lot. I don’t think it is, but I tend to get a bit paranoid about this type of thing.
I have a nkit.iso of the game and I heard it comes in two discs, and it looks as though I have disc 1, when I start it through Nintendont it plays the GameCube logo but freezes on a black screen afterwards, the game never boots, but I also download Mario sunshine but that seemed to be working and that was also an nkit.iso, please help
I can’t find it anymore:/
Today I tried to play the storm city mod for wii sports trough riivolution but I realised I had the wrong version of wii sports(v 1 not v 1.01) and i don’t want to buy the correct version. Is there any way I could download the correct version and patch it with the mod to use trough usb loader gx?
So I found this Wii Theme from a reddit post in r/WiiPiracy (link here https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiPiracy/comments/1g3m0ss/black_and_blue_theme/ ) and i wanted to get the theme, but to no luck, there wasn't a download link. I've searched Wii Themer and the wii theme team vids and I haven't found it! If you have a download or any info please feel free to comment!
So I decided to get some WiiWare games on USB loader GX and they aren’t working properly
Ive got cave story that works perfectly fine on my Wii, Bomberman Blast black screens when it opens, and Pokémon Rumble will say “The Wii system memory has been corrupted. Refer to the Wii Operations Manual for details” and closes itself
I’m not able to find out why they aren’t loading properly if anybody has any answers please respond
Hi I am having an issues with getting sonic colors on my Wii to work, when I put sonic colors on my USB hard drive it appear on USB loader gx as a blank channel and the file gets corrupted, it doesn't work even if I try to lunch it through dolphin (I made sure the original file isn't corrupted) I don't know why this happens and I hope someone could help me
I downloaded some GameCube games and they load fine in the USB loader gx menu but when I go to load them it crashes my Wii and freezes the controller. Ive got no clue what's wrong
Whenever I try to load a WBFS file (using any loader app) it just gets stuck on a black screen if there's no disc inserted, otherwise it just loads the current disk. If you need any extra information, feel free to ask!
Hey! So I have the wii with USB Loader GX, and I load the games with Wii Backup Manager.
All seems to work perfectly, but then I click on "Start", it just restart and closes the app, going back to the homebrew channel.
I have tried both ISO and WBFS, and does the same.
Can't find a solution. Any ideas?
Post got taken down from Wiihacks. Assuming it's for Piracy reasons (I didn't know it was Piracy because it's streaming for free anyways).
Is it still possible to add Internet TV on WiiMC?
I've seen people ask the question before, but they usually just get told "no" and then told to get Roku.
I know Internet TV is more complex than "dude, just put the link in the XML" too, and I'm honestly too dumb to figure this out, but I was looking through a bunch of old GBAtemp threads and stuff from back then about adding to the online media xml and they vaguely talked about getting the stream url, but it was mostly from radios.
I see videos of people using IPTV and other Internet TV, but the newest videos are a few years old and most are like 14 years old. I found a site that hosts a few live channels (freeintertv for reference) and they seem low quality enough to use on the Wii, but when I add the m3u8 to the online media xml, it's literally invisible on WiiMC. Is m3u8 not compatible? Does it have to be m3u?
Can someone who knows this sort of stuff answer my question without just saying no and telling me to get a Roku?
I have searched here, on Reddit, on GBATemp, on 4PDA and in general globally on the Internet, but still I risk asking - did anyone manage to beat the protection in the game?
USBLoaderGX - hangs with black screen right after startup
WiiFlow Lite - similar
CfgUSBLoader - starts, but hangs on the cutscene after flying on an airplane through a thunderstorm at the very beginning.
