Hi All,
I know Finn Balor used to own Fight Factory in Bray which has moved to Dublin but I'm curious if there are any other schools in Wicklow or if they've all moved to Dublin?
I’m from Liverpool and I’m planning to go to Wicklow for my 22nd birthday, I’ve been once before but only to see family I’ll be going by myself so if anyone knows anything or anywhere I could go I’d be grateful, I’m into Irish history and drinking.
Hi, I’m moving back to Wicklow town area in about a months time and was looking for advice on best available gyms. I’m much less keen on classes and would rather somewhere for a decent rate with a good free weights section. I work relatively long hours so something close to home is preferable as I will be putting the kid to bed and heading back out, so 20 odd minute radius.
I would rather not use Match Fit as I have used in the past and am not a fan of the way things are operated there. Happy for people to disagree but just my personal preference.
Any further advice is much appreciated.
Well lads, looking to go solo camping somewhere in Wicklow National park. Fairly shitting it about leaving my car somewhere and finding a good spot to camp. Any suggestions?
I recently moved to North Wicklow - really keen to improve my golf but have no friends in the area. What is the best way to play with someone at similar skill level?

Hi everyone. I'm canadian, and my friends and I visited your region in Ireland about two weeks ago. While driving we came across a sign with a four lines poem that started with a line like this: "Oh have I come to Avondale, to drink its fair ale" or something similar to this. The sign looked rather old and and it was on the corner of a street that goes up a hill, either in Rathdrum or Wicklow, not sure.
Anyways, I really liked it, and tried to find it online but I can't find the same version. The one I found talks about a vale, and not ale, while I'm almost certain the one on the sign said "ale". If any of you know what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate if you could write down what the rest of the sign says or just send me a picture of it.
Really enjoyed your corner of Ireland btw, cheers!
I’m American but I’m trying to send my friend who lives in Wicklow a fruit bouquet (cut up fruit and strawberries arranged like a flower bouquet). I can’t find online if they have that kind of thing in Ireland anywhere though! they’re so common in America I feel like there has to be some kind of edible arrangement place in Dublin or close by. Can anyone help me find one or give me an alternative little gift to send to brighten their day (that isn’t flowers) that is popular in Wicklow ?? Help!!
Which is the best/closest hospital for a NewtownMountKennedy local? New to the area and trying to figure out our options.
Hello! I was going to walk the Wicklow Way, but it seems I can't get any place to stay for a reasonable price beyond Glendalough (all hostels are fully booked, unfortunately). So I have to reroute my trip and I was wondering if you can recommend any alternative hiking route through wicklow from Glendalough forward? (Or perhaps an alternative place to stay near Glenmalure where I can get a meal at night too)
Will it ever be upgraded past Greystones before 2050? Or like everything else in this country it’ll be 2150 before shovels hit the ground…
